While this book is a good insight into somebody who has suffered from histamine intolerance, I found that most of the information pointed everyone towards finding a practitioner to do testing. In the United States on a very limited budget, this would be great, but is not always an option. He does remind readers that he is not a medical professional, but a journalist. I did appreciate food, compilation lists, and the results of his polls, on certain foods affecting people. If looking for more of the science behind it, I suggest looking into Dr. Becky Campbell’s work. She is a certified practitioner has helped many patients. Ben Lynch also has a significant amount of work, which the author refers to.
I appreciate the documented sources and the asy to use tracking system. I found this book to be more helpful then others and I appreciate how many times Tony stressed that its not saying no to foods its saying less.
