Membaca buku kumpulan puisi ini tuh rasanya kayak menyelami hal-hal yang aku rasakan selama, setidaknya, dua tahun ke belakang. Terutama setahun ini sih, yaitu ketika mulai memasuki fase menjadi orang dewasa (adulthood). Fase ini tuh rasanya nano nano. Pas masih kecil tuh rasanya liat orang dewasa tuh keren, bebas melakukan ini dan itu, bisa pergi-pergi sendiri, kerja di gedung tinggi, dan masih banyak lagi. Tapi pas udah gede... rasanya pengen balik jadi kecil lagi😅 rasanya ini semua tuh too much gituloh wkwk pengen balik ke masa semuanya masih terasa sederhana dan gaperlu mengambil keputusan every single time—mau makan siang apa? mau beli kopi apa matcha ya? mending kerjain yang mana dulu nih? duh udah oke belum ya email-nya?—serta dilanda overthinking berkepanjangan😔

Poetry book is like that, not for everyone. Not all can relate, not everyone would get it. And that’s okay.

At the end of the day it’s personal to the author and as a reader, we read it with a hope to be able to relate with the author’s struggle or even learn something from the author’s perspective - this book gave me both.

So many words that are encouraging and uplifting.
Some holds you like a hug. It’s like two friends, talking in the living room over coffee.

If you ever struggle with adulthood, the feeling of belong, growing up, the harsh of it and the loneliness of life. You’d be able to relate a lot with her poetry :)

True, the winter is not for everyone. If you feel that this book isn't your cup of tea, then you are lucky to be in another season. For me, the title itself is interesting, too close to home. Well, there is nothing new. But I am glad that there are people who have been in the same phase as me. And its simple words able to touch my heart. Like the morning sunlight on a winter day. Some people may consider it ordinary, but for people who need warmth, it means something.

Finally, I got a chance to read this book.

I'm totally enjoying it. Thanks for speaking about the struggles people face as they grow up. In my 20s, I've noticed that time flies by so fast, and I'm not even ready yet. But, that's life. For me, reading these poems is like a reminder to stay strong and believe that many people experience similar things/

Dnf. Mungkin seperti judulnya, this book is not for everyone. Bukunya dijual sebagai buku puisi, tapi buat saya isinya lebih ke arah curhatan/refleksi yang ditulis pendek-pendek supaya tampak seperti puisi. Desain halamannya juga lebih ke arah buang-buang kertas daripada artistik.

Mungkin isinya bukan buat saya atau mungkin waktu membacanya yang tidak pas buat saya.
