Teagan and Lane are great together. Teagan is smitten with her from the first time he laid eyes on her. Lane figured he would not stick around once he found she has a four year old daughter. Not only did he still want her, but wanted Sophie also. The biggest obstacle for them being together in the open was her dad. When a life changing injury and lies occur, things are not so clear anymore.
I don’t normally read closed door or YA books. But Gracie’s stories are just soo good I don’t even care! Think One Tree Hill vibes but make it football.
I absolutely adored the final instalment of the Boys of Riverside series. Is it spicy? Not really. There’s lots of sexual energy that will get you hot. But the romance… *Swoon* 🥰 Teagan Nichols is my new book boyfriend. There’s so much going on, past traumas, secrets and a whole lot of chasing. Just like to add, the way Teagan is with Sophie (Lane’s daughter) is just everything, he’s amazing! 😍
Teagan is like a puppy with a bone, and Lane’s the bone. She doesn’t date but he plans on being her bestest friend until he can wear her down. Although she’s the coaches daughter, and they’ve been warned to stay away, add in the fact she’s also a single mom, he should leave well enough alone, but he can’t. Teagan proves time and time again he’s a perfect fit for Lane and her daughter, but Lane feels unworthy of love and has been keeping a massive secret that will break everyone around her.
I’m sad this series is over. But I can’t wait to reread them all!
The fifth and last book in the series is another bingeworthy and fun-to-read catch-up with the “Boys of Riverside.” Teagan Nichols (the twin brother of Brynn from the previous book) and Lane Turner get their spot in the limelight and were especially easy to like. She’s the football coach’s daughter and, of course, he’s a star player on her father's team. That fact alone brings plenty of drama. The emotional roller coaster ride kept me fully involved without any slow or boring doldrums interrupting the flow.
I’m not a major fan of unplanned pregnancies. I do, however, enjoy the single mom with a young child plot – and Sophie was indeed an adorable and entertaining shining star. One perplexing problem: Sophie is three years old -- soon to be four -- but her presentation and dialogue just felt off and well-above that of a child her age.
Overall, sweet and fun-to-read with a well-balanced dose of drama. The romance sizzles, but it’s handled well and doesn’t give off any heavy ick vibes. Another winning sports-related romance to end out the series.
Let You Love Me is the 5th book of the Boys of Riverside series. Teagan is a freshman in college at Cumberland University, where he is playing football. He is at a disadvantage because the veteran players have been hazing him which has put him on the bad side of the coaches. This is where the coaches daughter, Lane, comes in, she is assisting the team with equipment. The players on the team have been told she is off limits, but Teagan is intrigued by Lane. They start a friendship, but a lie is between them, will their friendship survive the lie? I really enjoyed Teagan and Lane's book, I was hooked from the first chapter and could not put it down. I highly recommend this book and the rest of this series.
Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review from Gracie Graham.
If there were a way to give this book six...hell seven or eight stars, I would do it in a heartbeat! I love Lane and Teagan's dynamics. A really good single parent is really hard to find sometimes, especially when they're still a fairly new adult themselves, but this one was phenomenal. Also I adore Sophie, she is the best child I've seen written, and as a mother of 4 (and I was a teenage mother as well) I like to think I have some insider knowledge on this point.
Oh sweet Teagan! I fell hard for this guy! He was such a sweetie! He refused to walk away from Lane because he knew he felt something real.
Lane fights hard against her feelings for Teagan but his persistence wore her down. That and all that time he was there for her. She had never had a guy treat her with such care. Half her problem though was she didn’t think she deserved it. Letting someone help wasn’t easy for her.
The author does a great job capturing all the feels. You can relate to all involved (except Chance- he is just an ass). Sophie was an absolute doll!
"We accept the love we feel we deserve" Lane's only mistake at sixteen gave her her precious daugther but also the feeling she didn't derserve lobe and happinness again for the problem she brought to her family. Until she meets Teagan. Sweet, considerate, persistent Teagan. And he is set to become her best friend until she feels worth of been loved again. A great ending to a great series of best friends
I love Teagan’s story and how he didn’t give up on his love. How he wanted a simple life with his family. He is boyfriend goals in all the ways. He was always looking out for Lane and Sophie. I’m so happy they got a happy ending. How Lane was able to hold on to the secret of the baby daddy for four years?!? I would have caved. I hope she went after his NFL money! Her poor dad….he loved Chance as a son and then had to come to terms of how much of a garbage person Chance was.

It pains me to say that I really couldn't get into the last of these books. There has been such a long period of attempts to immerse myself and to try to put myself back into the story, but to no avail. Something about it just didn't float my boat. I'm just not interested in either of the main characters.

This is the fifth book in the Boys of Riverside series. It can be read as a standalone but reading the previous books helps understand background information and side characters better. Teagan is now a freshman in college at Cumberland University (CU) playing division I football. The veteran teammates have been doing freshman hazing which has landed Teagan on the coaches bad side. Lane (the head coaches daughter) is a junior at CU who starts a job assisting the team with equipment to help support her and her daughter. All the players are told not to try to date Lane but Teagan is intrigued by a previous interaction he had with Lane prior to her starting this job. Teagan and Lane start a friendship that is complicated by a lie about her daughter’s biological father. Will Teagan and Lane become more than friends and if so will it survive this lie? This book is so good and kept me in my toes right until the very end. I highly recommend adding this book to your TBR list!
I didn’t want to put this book down . Loved the way the characters from the other Riverside Books played a part in this book. Couldn’t get enough of Teagan and Lane . Oh my heart when Teagan was with Sweet Sophie .
Loved it! Teagan is the definition of what book boyfriends should aspire to. His sweetness with Sophie, his understanding with Lane, and everything in between. Good book.
By far this was my favorite in this series. I love Teegan and Lane. I wanted to throat punch Chance myself. Sometimes Lane irritated me but mostly I loved her. I wish everyone could have a Teegan.
