This Hedonites of Slaanesh Battletome for the third edition of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar is relatively good, with the usual great art, rules and information. The background section of the book gives the usual lore for faction that has been tweaked and expanded in places and has been updated to bring it into line with the events of the Era of the Beast. I am a little disappointed that there is no new information on what Syll’Esske has been up too, however, as they are one of my favourite Hedonite characters.

The rules section of the book is pretty standard for this edition with all the usual datasheets and Battle Traits and Enhancements. The Hedonites’ unique Path to Glory narrative rules are quite interesting especially the Surrender to the Impulse as it is up to the Hedonites’ opponent how it is used, in a similar way to the faction’s Temptations of Slaanesh Battle Trait. The Hedonites’ other Path to Glory rule is one that allows their general a one off bonus in return for a large amount of Depravity Points, which I feel could possibly be spent better elsewhere at times.
