What if the company you work for could control your mind? Only weeks remain before Lectures and More, Inc., a company representing the world's top motivational speakers, launches its latest technological advance: a mind-altering radio frequency device sold as a work-site enhancement product. The deceptively altruistic Ulrich Rogers spearheads the company and its reeducation programs, incorporating the presentational prowess and charm of Jennifer Chance, a world-renowned motivational speaker. But as the lies that make up her life begin to unravel like threads on a poorly sewn garment, it becomes evident that nothing is as it seems.

Jennifer alone holds the key to unveil Rogers's plot to hold America hostage using Lectures and More's newest device. Plunged into a twisting chase to escape the clutches of Rogers and his former espionage henchmen, Jennifer seeks help from Frank Revere, an enigmatic former government counterintelligence agent. But the question of who to trust continues to dangle in Jennifer's mind. Thousands of lives hang in the balance, but a deeper deception lurks in the shadows .

Brimming with suspense, danger, and mystery, "Deadly Exchange" conjures up a blend of the ordinary, the arcane, the seen, and the unseen in the search for truth.

Professional Reviews: (Murder of Sex)
"Geoffrey Gluckman has an excellent writing style and a real knack for keeping the reader guessing and engrossed in the book. The author creates a scenario to grab the reader’s attention and take them into Josh’s world of sex and betrayal. He does a remarkable job of setting the stage and making the reader feel as if they are part of the story."

"Move over 50 Shades Of Grey, there is a new kid on the block! But unlike 50 Shades Of Grey Geoffrey Gluckman has a fabulous plot line and a cunning way of telling the story.... a very fine piece of literature. It is a wonderful exploration of the human psyche. Where does love end and obsession begin?"
Simon Barrett, Bloggernews Network

"This is a fairly intense book, definitely not light reading! ...less than 200 pages but a lot is packed into those pages."
Leslie Storey, Blog Reviewer,StoreyBookReviews.com

Murder of Sex is a rip-roaring tale that brilliantly fuses relationships between women and men, religion, human evolution, literature, sex, and subtle social commentary, all in under 210 pages.

Praise for Murder of Sex:

"The story gripped me right from the opening sentence to its highly satisfying conclusion. It ended up consuming my whole weekend as I could not put it down. It was even better the second time I read it as the story has plenty of depth and subtlety to reward reading it all over again.... you will have your heart in your mouth as you read it!"
—Dean Jordan (Amazon review 2013)

"The best work of fiction I've read in a long time. A masterpiece on intimate human relationships

Of course, I'm biased. An intriguing and intricate tale of Jennifer Chance, a world renown motivational speaker, and her search for her true identity. Surrounded by ex-CIA operatives, though she is unaware of that, all is not as it seems in this award-winning spy thriller. As she tugs on the lies that make up her life, it all begins to unravel.
The heroine and Frank Revere, a former intelligence agent, join forces against the very corporation that Jennifer works for in order to stop a deadly threat to citizens of the USA and the world, and discover deeper secrets lurking...
A clever cast of characters populate this novel, though the focus is on Jennifer and Frank. And much deeper themes, such as identity and freedom, are subtly explored through fine storytelling.

A wonderful debut from a new thriller writer. This explosive espionage thriller combines the stories of lost love, usurped identity, both of an individual and a nation, as well as the threat to freedom posed by technology. And, more than one character has environmental leanings. One of our employees said, "This book may change how you look at your job, your boss, even your life."
A must read!

Reading this book was like reading a season of 24, except that these events took place across more time than just one day. I have to admit that it was a little difficult to get settled into this book--because it is written from multiple points of view and shifts settings as events unfold, it can be a little difficult to follow at times. However, once I got comfortable it was a fascinating, riveting read... Gluckman's knowledge of the government, its agencies, and military technology is impressive! Not to mention, his plot twists keep you on the edge of your seat!

I don't know about all of you, but for me well-developed characters are extremely important in creating an enjoyable book. Gluckman succeeded many times over with his character development in Deadly Exchange. Frank and Jennifer are very believable, but I can't say much without giving away an important part of the story. And as for the "bad guys," Walter Jones in particular--you love to hate them! The addition of the various Rastafarian boys added another element of interest to the "cast."

If you enjoy political thrillers or the TV show 24, I think you would enjoy this book. Even though it started slow for me, the subject matter was so fascinating I couldn't help but enjoy Deadly Exchange.

Reading this book was like watching an old 80's action movie. The kind that made no sense at times, people die every five minutes and you simply don't care, where the characters had tacky wardrobes, there seems to be an endless cast and even three seconds before the flick ends they are still injecting new people into the plot -I couldn't care for any of the three million that appear on the book- you know the kind, where at times the actors call each other the wrong names (yes the editing in this book was so aweful that the heroine gets called June instead of Jennifer in a couple of pages, yeaks!).

All in all if you like mindless "action" scenes, steriotypes, tanned bimbos and a man who can't recognize the love of his life because she died her hair to a brown shade and wears light color contacts you'll love this book, as for me I rather eat a plate full of live maggets than to read anything by Mr. Gluckman again.

PS. the only reason I even finished this was because it was part of a book club.

In the spy thriller genre, you have some pretty boilerplate offerings, and expectations are low of the depth of characters or the 'startling plot twists' which are usually pretty predictable. Deadly Exchange moves out of the standard boring format and gives you something to think about. Sweetly tinged with romance and a likable true-to-life heroine, the novel breaks out of the mold and gives you a wild ride on the suspense train. Intrigued? Mr. Gluckman has an innocence as a self-published author which I find compelling, and informative as a wanna-be frustrated writer. Pacing and editing are a little wanting, but I wonder if that's how we've been trained by the big publishing houses to put our brains on hold while they make everything palatable. I read with an editorial eye and an ear for the musicality and creativity of his writing. Agree with other reviewers that there's a bad filmic appeal. Be ready for an out-of-the-box experience with this one.

This book was terrible from the beginning to end. It's like he took every action and terrorist movie together in one book. It was WAY too long, needed LOTS of editing. Completely absurd in most parts, and perfectly self-indulgent for lack of a better word. I only finished it for my book club, but seriously...I'm not sure how this got published. My friend Lorena summed up most of the ridiculous plot, but the parts that were supposed to be climatic were disappointing, and WAY too many characters that you just did not care about. Enjoy knowing that you will never need to read this book...ever! I give it NO stars...that is how lame I thought it was.

Excellent pace, exciting read! Very good balance of character development and edge of your seat action. Also does a very good job of dealing with technical aspects - explains concepts that would be foreign to most in a way that is understandable but not patronizing. Enjoyed the exploration of the theme of identity and what it means to be true to yourself. Definitely looking forward to more from this author!

The thinking person's thriller. Suspense, action, twists and turns. Right up there with Vince Flynn and Brad Thor.

Geoffry Gluckman, the author of Deadly Exchange, brought new suspense to my table as I slammed the covers on this book closed fully satisfied with the knowledge that I had found a new writer that would join the ranks of my favorite authors list. I rarely say that a book actually "rocked my boat". His real-life experience obviously added to the reality of the crime/romance part of the book. This novel covered several areas of technology, crime, and suspense that I had yet to read or review in my past professional history.

Engrossing, it was a "real" page-turner. I look forward to reading this authors next manuscript/book.

One sentence Promo:

*An engaging page-turner filled with romance, crime, betrayal, and suspense.
