Dean, oh dean lol you sweet psycho you.. hands down, i had mixed feelings about Dean, but i grew to love this SOB!!! When you first meet him you’re like.. no, no.. he was hot/cold on how he treated Willow until he finally figured it out he was in love lol but he doesn’t feel pain.. so keep in mind he was pretty messed up.. It was rocky for them, so be warned. Also, please check triggers. Dean is very BRIGHT red flag… Willow baby willow was so sheltered because of her douche of a father. she's so pure, but girl had a pain side. So they were perfect for one another. Also, get a man who would tattoo your bite marks on his dick hahaha. Fucking man lol

Yeah it was very insta between them but Willow did take awhile since her body was on board before her mind and heart. The plot wasnt really there it was like 80% smut and 20% plot or even less lol. I’m glad Dean groveled in his own ways or a guy who can’t feel pain. It wasnt the best grovel but he tried lol.

They are so clingy for one another lol

We do get another killer Bones i like him.. he has his own girl he saved and i wonder how that go. He is sorta of a manwhore so idk hopefully he isn’t in the book.

I don't really remember much about this book after a week of putting off writing this review. I just know it was not my style, I liked the obsession he had for her and I think they both worked well together. Despite their massive differences, they were right for one another.

There are a lot of TW's in this book and it might not be for everyone. He is the worst in the beginning and shows it to her. There is non-con from him with the FMC in the beginning too.

There was not a lot of plot or story in this book as it was mostly just smut.

They do get their HEA at the end but the road to it is a bumpy one.

Steamy and likable characters, if on the light side and dark theme; story could have been stronger with more depth. The hero is swoony for his little kitten, as he calls, her, someone for himself and she for him. Somewhere the storyline loses its course; the pace slowed, and I found my interest waning despite the good themes and great characters. Still a good read.

First we have Dean. A damaged, tormented soul. He is obsessive, possessive, ridiculously sexy and so, so hot.

Then we have Willow. She is an innocent with an incredibly messed up upbringing! She has endured a lot of abuse at the hands of her father.

When Willow finally manages to escape her father’s clutches, with little to no belongings or money to her name, she inadvertently runs into Dean. Stumbling upon a disturbing scene.

Luckily… or maybe not so much. Dean becomes infatuated with Willow, dark and steamy events ensue.

This is so dark and sexy. I just loved how quickly Dean fell headfirst for Willow. And for Willow- unbeknownst to him, he gave her what she so desperately craved… to be wanted, needed and most of all… loved.

Willow develops a bond of sorts with her capture, Dean. Even though he causes her pain he also brings her unsurmountable pleasures. And she couldn’t deny her growing attachment. A beautiful and disturbing scenario. But their dynamic was top notch. They had great dialogue and a wonderful evolving relationship.

This storyline was brilliant, you can’t help but become attached to this murderous boy! Underneath, he is just a sweetheart. A boy who would burn the world for you, although, slightly possessive- but in the best of ways.

A beautiful tale of boy meets girl only a hell of a lot darker. It was brilliantly done from beginning to end. A fantastic concept with lots of spice. This boy is hot, hot, hot…

All Your Pain follows the story of Willow our innocent FMC whom has been locked away living a very sheltered life with her controlling, manipulating and abusive father and Dean our unhinged contract killer MMC, whom suffered from mental and physical abuse throughout his childhood, he also has Congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP)

At 18 Willow finally builds the courage to escape the cage her father made and be one step closer to the freedom she so desperately craves, only to find herself witness a murder, kidnapped and the new obsession of Deans, before even finding her hostel.

From the prologue I could tell I was in for a ride, and yes it was a roller coaster! This story intense, some may say it’s toxic and yes there are some toxic traits, but honestly what dark romance readers don’t like a bit of toxicity, obsession and a lot of spice.

Hana did an amazing job with the character and story it was fast paced and kept me engaged, I couldn’t put it down. This was a fantastic start to the Obsessive Hearts and I can’t wait to see where Hana goes from here. Congratulations on this amazing debut.
I definitely recommend this read to all the dark romance lovers out there.

• Willow, so sweet & innocent and yet comes to realize she loves the “darkness/pain.” She goes through a lot, not only with Dean, but with her internal struggles in their situation. Also her home life past is nothing to brag about. And Dean, sexy and twisted Dean. When you learn his backstory it makes you soft to him. But then when they meet, you also judge him. He starts off in one light and you ping pong back and forth, slowly start seeing him in another. As he does her. Their story is intense and captivating to say the least

• You need to check your trigger warnings with this book. Some of this could make some readers uncomfortable. Not me obviously 😂 I loved it.

• Also… ALSO! Not one but 2 epilogues. Living for that.

I absolutely loved this story. I finished it so quickly, I couldn’t put it down..
Dean was sexy, unhinged & possessive, my kinda book boyfriend 🙊
He went through so much trauma as a young boy he also had a condition where he doesn’t feel any pain.
Then there’s Willow who ran away from her abusive dad.
I really liked Bones, which is Deans best friend he is so funny. This book had me gripped this was my first read from this writer. Definitely worth the 5 ⭐️’s

Let me start off by saying I’ve been in the worst type of slump since I found out I was pregnant, and then losing my baby.

I’ve been trying to get into something and nothing was working for me UNTIL this book.

I was picked to get an ARC of this book and oh. My. God.

This is absolutely phenomenal. I loved every single second of this book. I loved Dean and Willow’s story. I’m a sucker for character development, and Dean’s was phenomenal to be a part of.

I genuinely consider this book one of my top 5 reads of the year.

You could say it’s like Haunting Adeline mixed with Butcher and Blackbird? Except Willow isn’t a murderer.

All in all, if you like dark and I mean dark romance, this is the read for you.

Dark and spicy- what more could you ask for! I always have a soft spot for dark reads, I will always gravitate towards them, and this certainly did not disappoint!

Dean, our MMC, is an unaliver- and one that is certainly good at his job. He is not easy to love but he is one of those characters that you love hard and love to hate all wrapped up in one neat little bow. He knows what needs to be done to complete his job and certainly never backs down from doing so, until Willow. Willow throws everything he knows out the window.

Willow ends up seeing Dean do what he does best and finds herself in a mess that may cost her her life. Dean should 100% get rid of her- after all she is a witness, but he is unable to do so. As their story goes on, Willow grows on Dean and the more time that passes, the more his heart begins to melt for her. They have a chemistry that is off the charts and leads to their spicy moments to be beyond fan worthy- there was more than once I thought people were actually going to figure out that I was reading smut in public. I normally have a very good poker face but this tested the limits of that. I also really loved how these characters not only grew together but separately as well. At times I feel as though is some works the characters only grow with each other as they discover their connection, but this is not the case here. They both were able to grow individually as well as together as their relationship grows and flourishes and I loved to see it. Throw in the humor and plot and this is a great story.

This story has it all- great humor between characters, great spicy and a plot that is to die for. Great debut by this author and I certainly will be picking more up.

2.5* This was darker than I expected, definitely check triggers. I've never really been triggered by anything but there was a scene towards the end that I was like holy shit, this cannot happen. She gets pregnant and he ties her down and calls the doctor to force her to abort it. She's crying and begging not to and he cuts himself in the stomach and threatens to cut it out of her. She convinces him not to but that really just did something to my soul. I love me a morally black character, but that moment was just too far me. Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about this book.

2.75 🌟 this was…different, I guess? I’m usually SAT for a sad boi psycho/contract killer…but I couldn’t fully connect with Dean 🥺 these ppl needed genuine therapy, BUT I understand that neither had a support system, which did break my heart for them and their story. I can appreciate their happy ending and how they got to it on their own (they certainly developed into a beautiful, healthy couple in the epilogue), but sheesh — Alexa, play Toxic by Britney Spears.

Maybe it was the writing style, grammatical errors, or the pacing (or all 3, tbh) but I rushed through this because I didn’t really love it (I’m not a huge fan in DNFing, especially in this case because it has another interconnected standalone and I wanted the character context).

There were bits of Dean that I really liked, and thought his condition was an interesting twist regarding his trauma, then work life, then sex life. My heart broke for him because he thought he was a broken being, but I am glad that Willow was able to convince him that he could feel this whole time, just emotionally rather than physically 💔😭

Also, “little kitten” as a nickname?? AND what Dean did in his epilogue?? 🤢🤢🤢 That’s just not for me I am so sorry. Eek. But you do you, boo boo. Also, was not really a fan of Willow, I’m SORRY.

I AM looking forward to Bones’ book, I just hope the format/pacing is better 🙈

Okay so again, if you’re new here—yes, I read dark romance. Dark dark. Don’t be shocked. Don’t shame me. This one? Honestly not terrible. I didn’t love it, but I liked it enough to finish, and I gave it 3 stars.

The setup: Willow runs away from her neglectful father, trying to finally claim her freedom. Instead, she stumbles across Dean mid-“job” (read: bloody hands, not your average meet-cute), and from there her freedom is basically gone. Cue: captive romance, obsession, and a whole lot of twisted push-and-pull.

I could’ve done without the whole virginity-taking move—it felt a little cliché and heavy-handed. But what kept me reading was Dean’s shift: he starts brutal and obsessive, but gradually becomes protective and (weirdly) nurturing, wanting Willow to choose him on her own terms. That part got me a little. Willow herself… kind of aggravating at times (the knife scene had me side-eyeing hard), but she wasn’t unbearable.

Was it groundbreaking? No. Will I remember it years from now? Probably not. But did I kind of, lowkey, find it “cute” (if I’m even allowed to use that word for a story this dark)? Yeah, I did.

Buckle up. Its gonna be a bumpy ride

Willow, 18, has never experienced freedom. When she finally escapes her cage within hours she walks right into another. Lost she stumbles upon a scene that she definitely shouldn't have stumbled on. Instead of quietly running the opposite direction she's frozen watching what's unfolding in front of her and finally gets the attention of the man who's holding the show. Dean 26 is a whole lot of cuckoo for coco puffs instantly has to have his little kitten.. but he's a fair man.. he'll let her try to escape her destiny..

CHECK YOUR CONTENT WARNINGS. I cannot stress that enough. This is not a ladynapping then hearts and rainbows hea.. this is for sure ladynapping then støckhølm hea.

This book was so freaking good. What a wilde ride. I swear Dean is so unhinged but it almost makes him adorable. Him and bones are absolutely hilarious together. Dean doesn't know what healthy affection is and Willow is unfortunately feeling a little used. Can Dean be the man Willow needs or will he break her beyond repair? Doesn't matter he's holdin on for dear life whether she wants it or not.

This is Hana Meadows first book and it’s amazing!!! 🙌🏼 Pheww this is a dark romance with a twisted story and I wanted more of it 🖤 I literally devoured this book!! Definitely read trigger warnings before reading!!!
Dean is a dark, obsessed and a contract killer because he wants to know how pain feels like, but is super protected of Willow. Willow had been sheltered throughout her life until she escapes from one captivity to be in another.
I highly recommend this book!!!

Couldn’t Put It Down!



This does not read as a debut book. I grabbed it after having it recommended  and I didn’t know what to expect but she blew if out of the park. This dark, forced proximity read was an emotional rollercoaster and Dean (can I just say yum), is the perfect anti-hero. Willow’s inner strength and capacity to forgive was amazing to see. I loved how her character transformed throughout the life of the book. The story gripped me from the beginning and left me with a book hangover that I still feel days later. I strongly encourage readers who enjoy dark, possessive, forced proximity reads to grab this now. I can’t wait for the next book!

I recieved this as an arc for review by the lovely Hana Meadows which I'm so grateful. This is a captive/captor romance and lots of triggers so look them up I was aware when I asked for the arc. This is a little bit more pitch black than I like to read normally but the praise instead of degredation helped a lot. I have learned I have to be careful with Dark Romance Genre but I love to support authors and have made so many good friends on this journey. I will say the writing is amazing and I did want to know what happens next!

I literally devoured this book! I could not put it down... being my first dark romance book I was not prepared for how much of a choke hold this book had on me. Hana did such an amazing job creating the characters Dean and Willow are everything. I mean who doesn't want to be called "Little Kitten" with all the praise kink and BDMS, pain play and even the blood play is possessive and sexy.

You want to read this book if you're a dark romance lover!

Wow this book took some turns. I really liked the soft, warm character that Dean developed into, despite his blood thirsty want for Willow. The relationship between the two developed quickly as Willow discovered more about herself than she would have liked. I’m keen to find out more about book 2 with the different character views!!

If you like your books dirty, spice filled and are into a good dark romance. Read this book, Dean and Willow’s story is one you would like.

BDSM, very kink heavy book, but it was so good. I absolutely loved it and once you start, you can’t put it down.

There are some heavy subjects in this book, so please read the trigger warnings and keep your mental health in mind!

4.5⭐️ Calling all smutty dark romance readers!!!! I really enjoyed this story the characters were very likeable with great development. I definitely urge you to read the warnings and triggers in the beginning because Hana is not joking when she tells us dean is a walking-talking red flag 🤪 and there is a lot of noncon even I personally could have done without that particular aspect but even with that I will be waiting impatiently for the next book- I’m ready for more bones action and to see how willow and dean continue to grow together

Hotttttt damn. Dark romance lovers - the answer is YES. This book should be read. ASAP.

Dean is past the morally grey stage and has hit the stage “almost irredeemable" but in the most twisted and delicious way. But once he realizes his feelings, it’s game over.

Willow, ooof, she may have thought she ended up with the short stick, but this girl, she hit the lottery in the red flag department (you know what I mean if you’re a real dark romance fan)

This book made me angry and i threw my kindle down at one point and said wtf am i reading and why don't i just quit this book. .
Well here I am finished it. 3 stars cause i had a love/hate relationship with it.
