"An Awesome Legal Thriller"

Attorney Michael Collins and his friend, Kermit, are enjoying life in Mexico. Little boy, Pace, has received letters every week from his father in Florida working on a tomato farm. He hasn't heard from him in a couple of weeks and sought help from Collins. Michael had promised the boy he'd find his father, Tommy Estrada; however, Michael is pursued by the US. Federal Government for stealing 500 million dollars from a client ... a crooked client. He's at great risk of being located in the U.S., but a promise is a promise, and he'd do his best to find the boy's father. This is a fast moving thriller, with fascinating characters. It's well written and very exciting. Highly recommend.

What is the price of a life?

In the second installment of the Michael Collins series, we find Michael back at the Sunset, Hut 7.
The peace and tranquility doesn't last, as usual. Pace, one of Michael's soccer kids, needs his help. His father is missing and his family wants Michael to go back to the state's and find him.
Well written and engaging, Trafford has done it again.

A story within a legal battle.

This book is the second in this series and just like the first book, I can't wait to read more about Michael Collins and Kermit. Kermit is a very interesting character that helps to keep the book light.

Every bit as good as the first

This legal thriller of the year kept me turning pages just like Book 1 in the series. Well written, in depth characters, gripping story line and enough twists and turns to make you carsick. Now on to book 3!

This is the second book read by this author. Similar to John Grisham.

Strong themes of social justice and discrimination. The story continues on from his first book in this series so it would benefit to read that one first. Now on to No Time To Hide!

No Time to Die

Another Trafford success. Michael takes on a new case involving Mexican workers. The troubled FBI agent is still seeking revenge.

No Time To Die

This was an interesting and enjoyable book. The characters are brought to life by Mr. Trafford's ability to instill them with love, integrity and passion.

Who can forget Kermit!?!

This book was a sequel to author's, "No Time to Run". I believe this stands up equally to that book. In this book, the bad guys are easier to pick out of the crowd -- and what an evil collection they are. I did miss Father Stiles, he added so much unique flavor to book one, and would liked to have seen him in this book even though, LOL, it was probably not feasible given the geographic difference.

I read this book in one day -- I just could not put it down! I have the 3rd book up and ready for consumption.

Michael Collins finds himself back in Florida and being dogged by the federal authorities. I have enjoyed this series about a lawyer who finds his way back to helping others with the law and is on the run from the law himself. Looking forward to the third book.

This book was OK. Nothing amazing, nothing bad. Just a run of the mill law and order book. I can't say anything stood out as a spectacular story line or character. But it wasn't uninteresting. Just...OK.

Good story although pretty predictable. I listened from Audible.com but was not pleased with the reader. Inflections were so messed up and at times his voice seemed monotone. Ugh. I have the other books in the series which I plan to read but will use kindle.

My first J.D. Trafford novel. Fast Paced Legal Thriller. Michael Collins is the main character with his crazy sidekick Kermit Guilliardo. Lots of twists and turns and quite the page turner!

I listened to this as an audio book and did not like the reader's intonation or inflection, or lack thereof.
