This was a good source of inspiration of things to do to make a home a sanctuary. In light of the time we are living in, I find all suggestions of this sort welcoming.

What a wonderful concise little book... actually gives many creative ideas on how to make every space in the house a creative sanctuary... there are so many ideas it’s like a lifetime of adventures to create the space of your dreams in every room.. I couldn’t wait to get started with some of these suggestions.. Could’t put the book down and was surprised and disappointed that I finished it so fast. It’s the kind of book you want to keep close at hand... a guidebook if you will...

Kinder, gentler guide to creating sacred space

I thoroughly enjoyed this “yoga” of decorating. A simple opening of each of the senses that, as a Yoga Therapist, I am teaching all the time, but until now have t seen the connection to each room of my home. This book has helped me see all the rooms of my home in a different light. I can see right away what is missing in my least favorite room, I am clearing my entire home as well as my healing room much more than in the past. I am setting intention for each room. I am happy to have a home that reflects my New England roots. Just as fast fashion is a thing. Fast, disposable decorating and demolishing is a thing. I love the antiques and objects in my home that have all had previous uses and previous owners. I loved this book for showing me what was important to me, not HGTV. Thank you!
