Bailey has always intrigued me. She comes across as confident and strong. But part of me had a feeling that there was something going on with her... something that she is hiding... I just couldn't figure out what.

Kam takes one look at Bailey and knows that there is more to her then she lets on. He sees what she is busy hiding from everyone else... he sees HER. And he just knows that she is the one for him. He has a bit of a long road ahead of him to help her see that she deserves to be happy and loved but he is definitely up for the challenge.

You see, something horrible happened to Bailey when she was younger but she never told anyone anything about it. She kept it bottled inside because she was ashamed and didn't want it to hurt others in her family. But when she is assigned a story she has to make the tough choice of finally facing it and getting everything out in the open so that she can heal and move on... becoming a better and stronger person.

On top of all this going on with Bailey, she has to deal with Meredith... the psycho ex-girlfriend of Kam. All I have to say is WOW! What in the world happened to Meredith?! I knew that she was a feisty little thing but holy crow Batman! She just went nuts! But I do have to say I got a kick out of the cat fight between those two... it was awesome! Haha! They both are a little feisty... ;)

Once everything is out in the open and Bailey has faced it, she finally sees that she DOES deserve love and happiness. And she finds it in Kam. They had their fair share of ups and downs but in the end it was all worth it! And they are better together! These two are my most favoritest couple in the Love and Trust Trilogy!

Be Mine was just what I needed! It reassured me that even though there is evil in the world and no one is perfect... everyone deserves love and a chance to be happy! Love is not always easy but have a little faith in it... it can heal and make you whole again. <3

I love this series. I love the setting, characters and lighthearted feel. This one is my favorite of the Love & Trust trilogy, I just loved Kam and Bailey together.

I liked Kam in the other books and I loved him in this one. I like a hero who goes after the girl and doesn't give up on her. He was a great leading man. I loved Bailey. She's had it hard and built up some walls. I was a little surprised by the serious turn the story takes, but I thought it was handled well. Never got too heavy or detailed. It makes you love Kam even more for how he handles everything and views Bailey. They really are cute together and have a sweet love story. Definitely one you won't want to miss.

Overall, just a great romance. Kam and Bailey have great chemistry, which Bailey really tries to fight. It was great to see her overcome her fears and give love a chance.

I love the way each story in the series builds upon each other, showing the reader familiar characters and places, yet delving deeper into the lives of a specific couple.

In Be Mine, we get to fall in love with Kam, a big Samoan rugby player, who works as a chef. Kam is very protective of those he loves, yet he is very sensitive to the feelings of those around him. He's gentle, yet tough; kind, yet firm; scary at times, yet utterly adorable...and he's very clear about his feelings towards Bailey. He's a man who knows what he wants and won't stop until he gets it (her).

Bailey had an incident in her past that really affected her and she just can't let herself get close to anyone because she has her heart to protect. She's a journalist and is used to uncovering a story, but there are some stories that she just can't reveal. She's insecure, but it felt realistic to me. She's beautiful and sweet, but has a little violent streak when circumstances arise to provoke her. When things come to a head with her job and a story she's covering, she is amazed at all of the love and support she finds.

There were many moments that had me laughing and many that tugged at my heart. This love story is beautiful and shows that love can really overcome all when a couple is willing to have faith and trust in one another, put in some hard work, and act on those sparks of chemistry. This one is a favorite so far and I look forward to the rest of the series!

Content: Clean romance (kissing, talk of abuse--tastefully done without details); mild romance (mention of prayer); no language; mild violence (a cat fight between two girls that was pretty funny and not graphic)

Love and Trust #2

Be Mine is the second book in the Love and Trust series. "Kam's Story" This is yet another new favorite for me. I just adore Kam. He is sweet, loyal, protective, and just a big teddy bear. He is an amazing chef but could be a professional football player or bodyguard. He is just all around loveable. :) Bailey (the heroine) is a stunning journalist who's been through a lot for someone so young...and who better to protect her then an enormous, gorgeous, Samoan, rugby player, chef? Such a fun light read! A beautifully written clean romance that was enjoyable from the first to the end. I'm so glad I own these books. I will definitely be reading them again. :)

loved this one!

This book quickly became another favorite in this series -I LOVED Kam and Bailey! Their story was so sweet and tender, and I loved getting to know both of these characters so much better. As always, I enjoyed being with many familiar characters from the small town of Fircrest.

Another sweet and clean romance!

I really enjoyed this love story, but the ending felt rushed. I also found about a dozen typos, which did not impact my rating.

There was miscommunication in here and I'm honestly not a fan of the trope. That said, it's well done.

I don't know if I'll continue the series because I went and spoiled something for myself while reading a synopsis of a future book.. 🫠

I do recommend! I do not recommend reading the synopses of future books.

I was so excited when this book came out!! I had been anticipating Kam's story for awhile, and boy was it worth the wait!! I honestly couldn't put this book down, especially at work! Breaks and lunch couldn't come fast enough. I loved this story from beginning to end, and it left me excited for the Taryn's story!! Shannon didn't disappoint yet again!!
This story is about giving love a chance, and not giving up just because it gets hard! It's also about not letting your past keep a hold of you! It's fun and witty and will have you laughing throughout the book!
You will fall in love with Kam in the way that he cares and loves all those around him! Bailey is such a fun sassy character that at times she makes you smile or shake your head at the same time. I love watching her character evolve in the book, and see the woman she becomes! This story truly makes you fall in love with being in love!
The story had me smiling, laughing, and when it was over a little sad. I am so glad there is another book to follow! I highly recommend this story and other ones by Shannon, they are truly worth the read!! Can't wait for the next ones!!

Another great read from Shannon Guymon! Be Mine continues from where Come to Me leaves off; only this time the story focuses more on Bailey and Kam. One thing that I love about reading Shannon Guymon's series are the characters from the previous stories show up and you get to read more about them and their story. In the Love and Trust Trilogy you get appearances from the Kendall sisters from the Love and Dessert series. It's so nice to sit back and relax with a good book. This one won't disappoint. It is a good clean story with good characters and good conflicts. I also love that you get to read the next book in the series so quickly. It always stinks to wait months or even years for a sequel to come out. And isn't the cover incredible!?! I'm excited to read book 3!!!

Shannon has given us another DELICIOUS TREAT in the Love and Trust Trilogy!

Amazingly Wonderful!
Fantastic writing!
Great story line!

Bailey has been hurt and therefore scared to get hurt again.

She plays it safe when it come to love.

When she tells her mom she will bring her boyfriend to the next Sunday family dinner...

...things get really complicated!

Truths will be revealed...
Double love triangles will happen...
Some hearts will get broken...
Some hearts will find the path to healing...
And romance will be available...

"The question is, would Bailey rather be safe or would she rather be loved?"

SO. SO. SO. GOOD!
A book to make you SMILE :)
CANNOT WAIT for book 3!

I know I say this after every book but I really LOVE the Fircrest books! Bailey had a secret from her past that comes out to re-haunt her. She thinks that everyone will be ashamed and hate her but instead it's just the opposite. Her and Kam and such a sweet story and after the things that happened in her past she needs a large Samoan warrior not some desk worker to love and protect her. I was happy that she is able to overcome her past. Then come out stronger than ever! Of course she also gets her happy ending! Shannon never disappoints a must read for sure!

Note: I was given this book by Shannon Guymon in exchange for an honest review!

Loved this one! Because I actually read the Love and Dessert trilogy before this one, I was anxiously waiting to hear about Kam and Bailey's story. Shannon Guymon, as usual, didn't disappoint. Bailey's history caught me offf guard, but Kam is such an amazing main character the way he treats her and goes after her that it makes it all the more sweet. I found myself with many content and loving "sigh" moments.

Ok that was good and I did like Bailey by the end. I felt pretty bad for her. Do guys really chase after girls that hard??? I've never seen it happen so I don't know if it's very realistic. Maybe I've just been married so long I don't remember. Cute book though and I still love Kam. I also liked how it dropped info about Rob and Wren.

It got frustrating for me. It was good don't get me wrong. I knew what her secret was from the start but others may not. I understand the story line and everything and it was great. For me personally Bailey was frustrating to me. Not my favorite of her stories but I enjoyed it none the less.

3.5 stars. I didn't like this one quite as well as the first one, although it was fun to read more about the characters. Some parts of the story (like the "cat fight") weren't my favorite.
