Great story and beautifully written The Gorl from Donegal tugged at my heart strings and gripped me throughout. Carmel Harrington is a wonderful story teller and I loved this as much as some of her previous work . Set in 2 time lines 1939 and 2022 , the reader is transported from Ireland to Bermuda and the story unfolds with connections between Saoirse O'Donnell and Eliza Lavery being uncovered . Thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an intergenerational saga with some hidden secrets.
