In the epic fourth book of The Forsaken Saga, Nora comes face to face with the elders for the first time. With Hunter and the angels at her side, she will try to do that which no one has done: destroy the elders, and break their terrible reign of power.
But it will not be easy. The elders have held on to their posts since the first memories of the Vassiz. Will prophecy be enough to guide Nora against them?
If she succeeds, the world as she knows it will change forever. But if she does not, everyone she knows will suffer a terrible fate. She is determined, but there are hidden secrets that may yet prevent her from reaching her goals..
I am happy that most the loose ends seem to have cleared themselves up. Fitting conclusion to this series...though I wish it was a bit longer. The ending felt abrupt...
this series for me was just okay. The twists in the story were good. But there seemed to be the same points being brought up constantly. Nora constantly reminding the reader that she was Vassiz and had powers and she was getting used to the same things over and over. Some scenes were to vague. Some were not elaborated on enough. The ending twist was good but then it just abruptly ended!! You don't know what happened to the other characters!! There was no confrontation with the angels afterwards!! Also, why was Noras leg not a factor all of the sudden? If Hunter took over her human star, why was he unharmed? To many loose ends. And however did the proofreading, needs to take a second look
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Foretold brings the saga to a climactic close, pitting Nora and Hunter against the ancient Elders in a final confrontation. Though the pacing can be uneven and some side characters underused, Nora’s resolve and the blend of action and magic create a compelling finale. The secrets revealed add drama, and the conclusion, while not entirely unpredictable, delivers closure. A solid ending to a consistently entertaining YA fantasy series.
It had a good ending that was kinda telegraphed in the second book. A few items weren't tied up as much as i would have liked but overall a good story. I'm not sure but in my Kindle copy the characters forget who they are talking to and then remember a few paragraphs later. Of course the homonym replacements and other grammatical errors are also present.
Such an amazing book! The series was wonderful! Loved the work. This book built up and surprised me so many different times. Not the middle but not he end, somewhere in between, was my favorite! Such a shock, let down, surprise, and happiness all in that one moment!
Read all 4 books and enjoyed them, now there seems to be a continuation going on with more books, so this is not the end. Only of this part. Good value for money and good author.
I loved this series! It was only 99c on Amazon when I pick it up and I loved it! Super quick reads but totally enjoyable. Teenager based books but I lived the storyline:)
In this kind of series, I usually expect at the end for everything to fall into place, to look back and say, that's what that was about! But I didn't get that feeling with this one, there were a lot of things that bothered me with this one.
No is the last book , i do not want it to end , i need so much more of this series, i can not get enough of. However it did let me down a little towards the end so that is why i only give it a 4 stars and that is because i love the series.
The plot like always runs around the fours of them only that in this book they will introduce more characters and wired creatures. Love how strong Nora has become and the love and respect that has build with Gray . Again Nora is the one to save everyone after she has been saved by Gray even if it meant to get himself hurt ( i was so sad in this chapter). Finally after so much danger they find something that could help them take the elders down and star living a normal life as they could ( but that dream has a big price that they all have to pay and is in blood).
Towards the end i feel that Nora has became more 'soft' ( okay she is hurt and needs help but not as much, in my opinion she can still deal with things a little different and clear mind...if she has one because when it comes to Hunter she only uses her heart) and forgives (or forgets ) people doing her wrong more easy then before. However i still enjoy every minute of it i spend reading and again i finished it in one day .
Foretold by Sophia Sharp is the final book in the Forsaken Quartet, and is a fitting conclusion to this action adventure fantasy. Nora and Hunter, Alexander and Morgan, and 4 of the Angels have a showdown with the 8 Elders in the Dreamworld with one purpose in mind - to destroy the Elders and put an end to their corrupted leadership over the Vassiz. Thankfully this book brings many characters and issues full circle and explains all unanswered questions left from the first three books, including Nora's true parentage.
As with the other books in the series, Pam Lorence narrated and did an outstanding job! She had different voices for each character, all of which were very believable. She also portrayed action sequences in an exciting and exhilarating way without becoming shrill. Pam's narration definitely contributed to my enjoyment of this book, as well as the entire series. Highly recommended!
Nora with the help of Hunter, Alexander, Madison and the Angels have set forth to battle the Elders in the Dream World so that balance can be restored to the world order of the Vassiz. Nora has defeated one of the Elders and returned only to find out she must return to the Dream World to aid the others in their attacks and defeat the remaining Elders. Victory has been achieved and Hunter, Grey and Nora are reunited in peace.
This has been a wonderful journey and I enjoyed every word. Was not expecting the Twist at the end but it was a good surprise! Can't wait to continue to read Nora and hunters journey
Overall series was just ok...Nothing spectacular which stinks because I thought the ideas were original and unique. However, the writing was very lack luster and I felt some of the important parts were either glossed over or left out while other parts were too descriptive and repetitive.
I am not going to lie, I did not read every word of this book. Too much blah, blah, blah. I found myself reading the first and last sentence of the paragraph for a lot of chapters! Didn't see the end coming.
If I could i would rate this negative stars. This book, the whole series was just stupid. She gets her self in a mess and then just knows how to fix it over and over again. I can't believe I wasted the time reading it.
