Furlosophy by Rob Wicall. I LOVED this book. Full disclosure: this was written by my dear friend who I’ve known since childhood. Most of you know Rob as the San Antonio Spurs Coyote. He was, in my opinion and in the opinion of many sports fans, one of the best mascots to ever pump up a crowd. In Furlosophy he distills the life lessons he learned in his many years as an NBA mascot, actor, performer, and public speaker. I like that Rob gives insight into the life as a professional mascot, tells interesting and amusing stories, and ultimately gives the reader notes on how to excel at life. I’m inspired. Five stars! ❤️

I didn’t even know about this book until Monday morning when a friend of mine from Facebook told me about it. See, I was asking this friend some questions about his time with the San Antonio Spurs and asked if he knew anybody else whom I can ask questions to about there job in the sports industry.

I actually also worked for the Spurs and knew who Rob was, but I never officially met him.

So, the book was a quick read and I skipped over the parts where he provided life and business advice, but loved reading all the stuff about him being the Coyote! I wish he had more stories, though.
