Tracy Lorraine is a M/F and M/M contemporary romance author. Tracy has just turned thirty and lives in a cute Cotswold village in England with her husband, baby girl and lovable but slightly crazy dog. Having always been a bookaholic with her head stuck in her Kindle Tracy decided to try her hand at a story idea she dreamt up and hasn’t looked back since.
Man!! I loved every minute of this one. I will admit the first book made me lose interest, but by the end of the second book I had to keep reading. Now I definitely need to add this series to my collection. I can't wait for Erica and Troy's story.
Lauren Davis has been dating Joe Kingsman while she attempts to heal her heart after Ben left her without a word. But now that he is back she is still ready to guard her heart as she doesn’t want to get hurt again. Ben left Lauren so may years ago as he was worried about what her father, Nick, would do to him if he stayed. Yet as much as he is trying to reach out to Lauren to explain what happened in the past she won’t have anything to do with him or let him explain. But Ben won’t go down without a fight and soon an accident leaves him fighting harder than he has ever had to. Can Lauren listen to his apologies and realize how much he truly loves her? This was such a great conclusion that still had so many twists and turns to leave the reader on the edge of their seat! In this book I was 100% team Ben as I knew how much he regretted leaving but really felt like he had no choice to protect his mom, Jenny, and Lauren. I was mad that in the last book that Lauren never really listened to how he felt or still never came out and realized the stuff that her dad did. I was definitely mad at Nick for wrecking the company and putting Jenny and Ben in a terrible position. In this book you see a bit more of the old Lauren after the accident, but she took the chance to leave to recharge when she needed to. I was so happy that she still went when circumstances changed but she was still quite harsh with Ben, even after everything he had been through. I was totally shocked at a few reveals, including Joe. I had a feeling there was something up but nothing like what we learned in this book. The end was so awesome and I was very happy for how it all ended! I am definitely wanting more of these characters so a book with Erica next would be great!! By Rebecca
Fighting for the Forbidden is the third and final book in the Forbidden trilogy and what a conclusion it was. Ben and Lauren are still working through the aftermath of Lauren’s father and his manipulative and controlling ways. They both overcome individual hurdles and ones together as a couple. I did feel like it was a little bit rushed towards the end, but that’s only because I am a lover of happy endings and I was really hoping for a bit more of a look into their futures.
Tracy’s writing was fantastic as usual and one thing I do have to commend her on is how well the entire trilogy was paced. I don’t know about anyone else but sometimes with duets or trilogies I think to myself that could have just been one book, but I never got that feeling when reading this trilogy. I loved the rawness to Ben and Lauren’s journey. The ups and downs, the doubts and longing and the push and pull of finding the courage to follow their hearts amidst the fear of everything crashing around them.
One thing that really bugged me though was how easily Lauren forgave her friends after learning of their involvement in the lies and the controlling ways of her father. I just couldn’t understand why she would hold so much anger towards Ben but forgive them so easily. But hey, it definitely didn’t take away my overall enjoyment of the story.
Very excited to read Erica’s story next and my fingers are crossed that I get a bit more of glimpse into Ben and Lauren’s happily ever after.

Fighting for the Forbidden (Forbidden #3) by Tracy Lorraine
5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fighting for the Forbidden is the third book in the Forbidden series by author Tracy Lorraine, so you must read the first two books in the series, before, Falling for the Forbidden book 1 and Losing the Forbidden book 2. The book it is written in dual POV.
So many twists and turns. Ben doesn't give up the fight to get Lauren back, although she is so stubborn and I still hated her for that.
All in one, it was a great conclusion with a very well deserved HEA

Tracy has honestly written a fantastic series and this last book really nails it. Throughout the whole series it has so many twists and turns that when you get to this one, you’re unsure which way it will go.
I absolutely love Ben and Lauren and their road to happiness. It’s not an easy journey at all but you just know their love for each with win and they will get their HEA they both deserve.
It’s an amazing story and I know whatever else this talented author writes, I will love it. Brilliant 5 ⭐️ read and one I definitely recommend to everyone.
We are back!! The last book in the series is a bit of a roller coaster. All the emotions from the first 2 books all come to head in this one. It was a great final book to this trilogy.
I must admit, I like a story every now and then with a bit of drama, it keeps things interesting, and I loved the drama and the twists and turns in this book, and this whole series. I have said it twice but I will say it again.... I LOVE BEN!! Seriosuly, this guy... looks like a bad boy but is a sweet heart, well that is the way I love some of my book boyfriends! Great end to a great trilogy. I can't wait to read more from this author.
Fighting for the Forbidden by Tracy Lorraine continues the story of Lauren and Ben. To fully understand and enjoy this book I do feel you should read the previous books. This book starts where we left off with Ben and Lauren. In this book that is the conclusion of their story we see them working through the past and present issue that have been keeping them apart. Overall this was a good series and hope to read more from this author soon.
I enjoyed this third and final installment to the "Forbidden" trilogy. It continues and concludes Ben and Lauren's story. It starts where the "Losing the Forbidden" concluded. He has his work cut out for him if he plans to win her back. Will they get a second chance? This is an interesting final installment in the story and I like how it concludes. There is drama, angst, romance and suspense. The whole story is good but you should read them in order.
It’s been six years since Ben left Lauren with a broken heart and not only isn’t she prepared to just forgive and forget she doesn’t want to hear his excuses either. She has moved forward with her life and wants no part of Ben.
Ben was devastated by Lauren’s reaction but it only makes him that much more determined to ensure that she finds out the truth and that they have their second chance. Although they have their ups and downs that only makes the ending that much sweeter.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
❦❦❦❦Life’s not perfect , but we can make it as perfect as we can. Bright side is the Right Side.
Dear Readers ,
First off I just noticed this author has a box set for this series !!! Look for that . Before you start reading !
I really enjoy the first book .. I knew it was a 3 part when I started . Because all the parts were published already . Otherwise I would have skipped it .
I’m not usually one to read cliffhanger books -/ I would rather wait until they are all done ✅ I feel the authors should wait and make it ONE BOOK .. I think authors push readers away when they break up a book into parts . When all is said and done at the end it’s really only ONE BOOK . By the word count.
✔︎✔︎Anyway off topic back to the review .
I think I mentioned in my first two reviews on this book 📚 I wrote continued on the review . I’m truly tired of seeing a leading( H )say how much he LOVES the ( H ) yet SLEEPS WITH ANYTHING THAT WALKS IN AN ATTEMPT TO FORGET . Meanwhile the ( H ) finds her self unable to sleep around.
She loses her virginity to this guy. And boom 💥 the story line takes him away without being able to explain anything .
Spoiler Alert 🚨 I really loved many many parts of this book - yet so many other parts made me want to pull my hair out . So many books these days the only true issue is lack of communication on many levels. Why would you walk away without talking to your mom first without giving her a chance to tell you if it’s true or not . ( after she lost your father ) SMH 🤦♀️
Believing that you should make the choice for all involved is really frustrating to read . No one would really do that , Let the father win & the fact he dies before anyone can confront him is beyond maddening. He never has to face what he did to his daughter .
In my opinion ((( READER PLOT CHOICE ))) It should have been more in line of him ( the father ) in the hospital suffering with only days left to live - his daughter getting to tell him she knows what he did.
Plus ——-UNBELIEVABLE BULLSH’T —— The father took six years from them !!! 😡 Six Years ((((WTH ))))) LATER REALLY GOT TO ME !!!
In the end every thing turns out with love & forgiveness.
But just remember as ( H ) leaves town & makes a life has random hookups makes great friends !!
The girl he left behind !!! Finds out both her best friends lied & hide things from her . No hookups to help her deal with the loss . She is living & barely forgetting .
While he pretty much acted like he was a full fledged play boy !!!
#Note 📝 to author — Anytime I come across the lead being a hounddog I stop reading it . It’s a plot way over done ✅ & I’m sick of reading how the GIRL is powerless to move on. (((( In this series 6 years later we learn she was hobbled emotionally ))) now that’s love ❤️
The Love ❤️ so powerful it lasts 6 years to see each other again . .. yet he NAILS anything with a pulse . #SMH 🤦♀️ Not once thinking about how he would feel , knowing she slept with as many men as he did women . If they ever did find their way back to each other.
👉👉Really wish some of these Street teams & BETA READERS ..would be more honest with the Authors!!!
~BIBLIOPHILE SUSAN
Yes I enjoy it & the happy ending !!! But way to much unnecessary heartbreak !!! And letting someone control your life and those you love !!! Simple three against one would have stopped this bullying father . Since the daughter came across the errors in the books regarding the business. Yet nothing comes of her discovery. Only six years later . She realizes her instincts were correct.
Ben decides he is going to fight for Lauren and try to figure out how to save his family business. Lauren is devastated as more lies and secrets are revealed and has her questioning everything in her life. A great ending to the trilogy. I read this first and then I listened to the audio I must say hearing it give me a little bit of a different perspective on it and even though Lauren was thrown with all these truths she was too blind to I think her anger towards Ben for not fighting for them a bit uncalled for since it seems she was running every time she found out something about her dad. I love listening to these narrators bring Tracy's stories to life.
Wow - did Lauren get knocked around or what in this last book. Her Dad was an asshole. I still don't really understand the dynamic with her and Joe. Did they have something more than a friendship or was he openly gay? She says she dated a little in the 6 yrs but never fully went through with it yet again, Ben the man-whore since fucking other women helps you get over your true love (right)... gets a full pass. NOPE. Thank god Lauren did not sleep in the bed with Ben when then visited Devon. And his friends knew how bad BJ was and to kid him about in front of Lauren - yep gut check, can you really walk past that? More power to her if she can end with a HEA...
Tracy has done it once again. She always give out such strong characters that its hard to not like them. There were so many twists to this story between Ben and Lauren that was definitely a wild ride. These two have been through so much while trying to be happy, that its definitely worth the fight. This book wraps everything up to end this trilogy the way it should. I definitely like this book and recommend it for others to read this trilogy.
BJ (Ben) and Lauren have fought and clawed their way out of Lauren’s dad’s betrayal. He was an ass in life, in business, and even from the grave he managed to give a few more middle fingers and surprises. I’m happy that those that mattered stopped running and decided to fight for their happiness. Thanks Tracy Lorraine for keeping me up way past my bedtime reading your wonderful writing!💋💋
This one was better than book 2, but it still wasn't fantastic. I mean, Lauren still refuses to forgive Ben. I mean, Jesus Christ, he did everything for HER (and his mom) and yet she took her father's side? That pissed me off.
However, I did like the ending. I was rooting, MOSTLY, for Ben. Lauren wasn't my favorite by the end, but I'm so happy Ben got what he wanted in the end.
I did not like Lauren in this book at all, she made it impossible to be sympathetic to her. For me anyway. In book 2 she was very wishy washy with how she treated Ben but in this one I found her to be downright cruel at times. I didn't think she deserved Ben but he loved her so I'm happy he got his HEA.
Best book of the series, but still a 3 star. I liked the conclusion of Ben and Lauren's story. It was it satisfying. Overall, I had my ups and downs with this series, but I'll probably still continue with Erica's story.
Why three books? This story could have been recounted in one book.. It just seemed to drag on and on.i would not have read it if I hadn't had Kindle Unlimited so I can read the books for free.
LOOOOVE these!!! I could do with an epilogue, buuuuut......I know that I'll know more about Ben and Lauren's future in the next 2 installments in this series. I just love Tracy Lorraine's writing. Twists and Turns. Angst. Spice. Lust. Love. HEA. Her books have it all.
I love this conclusion to Ben and Lauren’s story! I really like how they were out to get each other! I would think it was truce and yet it was far from it! Lauren really made Ben chase and chase did he really ever!
It was very good. The plot dragged out a bit much for so many books.. I love it yet I got bored with the drama. Slightly spicy and a bit of sweet. I think it should be condensed. Good job!
Lauren is so dramatic and I ended up really hating her. I’m convinced she never even liked Ben bc no way did she spend 2 books acting that way even after finding out the truth. Ben shoulda got with Erica tbh
