Chasing Temptation (Forbidden book 7) by Tracy Lorraine
I didn't knew anything about the book, author or the authors writing style.
It took me longer to read this book and review it because I didn't knew that it was related with another book.
This was my first read from the author, I was not disappointed. I like it a lot. Tge story, the writing, the character and the secondary characters were very good. The book had action and suspense, so for me it was enough.
I will read the orher books in this series because I am curious about them.

I really enjoyed these two characters as Quinn shows her inner strength and resilience after everything she has gone through and continues to go through while Joe proves to her that the only place he wants to be is by her side.
This is a story about love, healing and new beginnings.

Chasing Temptation by Tracy Lorraine is book 7 in the Forbidden Series. This continues the story of Joe Kingsman and Quinn Smith. I didn't know that this was a continuing story line so I hadn't read the previous book 'Avoiding Temptation' yet. I do plan to go back to read that book to fully understand their story. With that said I did like the author's writing, the hot scene and the protective alpha male character. The heroine too was a good strong lead.
I have enjoyed the book that I have read from this author and hope to read more from her.

This is the conclusion of Joe and Quinn's romance that began in Avoiding Temptation. If you haven't yet, you need to read that book before diving into this one. It was great to finally return to this couple and to find out how their story would end up. The wait was long but very worth it. This book picks up a few days after the cliffhanger at the end of the last book and things get intense fast! Be prepared for lots of drama, tension, danger, intense emotions, suspense, heat and heart that fill this compelling romance. I thought these two were such an amazingly swoon worthy couple and I loved seeing them find each other, themselves and love along the way. This is my sincere, volitional review.

4.5 stars ... Joe's beside himself when Quinn disappears. In time, Quinn realizes her dreams while Joe discovers what he really wants in life. This second part of their story is a rollercoaster with loss of freedom for different characters (temporary and permanent), finding their calling, fighting for love, and the treasure of intimacy. There's heart and heartache.
The physical demons become mental demons that are slowly conquered. This part... I appreciate that the issue wasn't skirted around even if the details were vague (also appreciate this fact). The road is long but the story is love. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Another great read with the conclusion of Quinn and Joe's story. The author once again does a fantastic job bringing strong,well developed characters and weaves an emotional story filled with drama,action,suspense and tons of romance. An awesome ending to the series! Loved it !

When I read the first instalment for this back in December, I felt like I would have to wait what felt like years for the conclusion. Even though the time has dragged waiting for it to come around, I am so happy to have been able to read this finally and be writing this review!
We finally get Joe’s voice in this book; it was like hearing velvet! I’m not one for swooning over a book guy, but Joe, I don’t know, he’s just something special (let’s just hope my husband doesn’t read this review!)
I quite like a diverse range of genres in my reading life and when I first started reading this, I had to keep reminding myself what I was reading as I felt like I’d picked up one of my psych thrillers. When Joe goes all caveman and burst through the door and finds Quinn the way he does the chills were going up and down my spine. It was genuinely terrifying what had happened to her; then there were the action scenes! It was just incredible! This book was just so much more than what I am used to from Tracy Lorraine. Once again, she has blown me away and pushed herself above and beyond and written a belter of a story! This was up there with some of the blockbusters that I read. It was a full-on story, not just a steamy romance.
I’m quite sad, though, as this was the end of the forbidden series, and I feel like it is the end of so much more as the forbidden series is an extension of the falling series as Ben was a peripheral character in those books. So, this journey has been going on for so long, and it has come to an end. I felt like the end of this book was a happy ever after for all of those books. I was feeling very emotional; it was great that all the characters from the forbidden series came together. It was like a reunion.
This was an absolutely fantastic read and a fitting end to the series; it had a beautiful conclusion and a magical happy ever after. Thank you for bringing this world into existence!

He gives her strength and love to standup for herself and the life she wants
Chasing Temptation is a wonderful conclusion to Joe and Quinn's story which started in Avoiding Temptation. This book is from Joe's POV which brought a different voice to the story that was nice. The story picks up where Avoiding Temptation ended and there is a whole lot more happening than anyone suspected. The story is packed with a lot of emotion, drama, suspense, danger, sizzling chemistry and a whole lot of heart and love.
What was hinted at previously regarding Quinn's history is nothing compared to what she has actually experienced. When Joe and Eddie discover that Quinn is actually gone/missing/taken Joe is beside himself but he realizes that he will not let her go and will do anything to find her. He thinks he knows where she is and he rushes off to find her and protect her. When he finally does find Quinn he is not going to let her go or let her push him away again. Quinn is going to have to also fight for what she wants her life to be. With Joe by her side, safeguarding her back and her heart, she finds the strength to finally standup and become the woman she wants to be and have the life she chooses.

Chasing Temptation is book seven in the Forbidden series which also is the last book in this series. This is the conclusion story for the Tempation Duet, Quinn and Joe's story. Where to start.....this book picks up right where the previous book cliffhangerly ends. What a roller coaster of a journey for Quinn and Joe! I was hooked as soon as I opened the book up. And when I read the last page.....it both broke my heart as the series is complete but it also made it soar as Quinn and Joe reach their HEA. I also absolutely loved how all the other characters were brought in, it just left the series with an amazing sense of completeness. If you have not read this author, I highly suggest you do. I absolutely love the stories and characters that she creates. I cannot wait to see what she has up her sleeve next. Enjoy!

Yay!!!! More Quinn and Joe. Of course these two can't go out without giving us a firework show of epic proportions.
Joe is on the lookout for her. He hasn't heard from her but he knows something isn't right. In the process, he gets hurt. Any doubts about their connection and love as you dig deeper will turn into vapor.
Quinn turns into a heck of a woman. She finds her voice, her spark and finds a way to overcome her past. These two may have been hurt and broken from their pasts but their future is all set in stone and what a beautiful rock it is.
Loved how invested I am in them. They are incredible characters and their wild ride with emotional bumps was so worth my time and Tracy nailed this story better than a home builder building a mansion. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

An amazing conclusion to Joe and Quinn’s story and also to the whole Forbidden series.
This book picks right up where the last book ended and it just doesn’t stop! I love how fast and twisty the plot is. Joe shows his true Alpha side and I have to say it’s super sexy. As Quinn’s back story unraveled I found my self edging closer and closer to the edge of my seat. It was great to read a love story with a little darkness and heartache. I enjoyed how everyone rallied round Joe and how we got some small glimpses into past characters... yes sexy Trey makes an appearance and he gets all hot and sweaty decorating the bedroom!!
Once again Tracy Lorraine has written a super sexy Alpha we can all fall in love and a kick ass strong heroine we all want to channel.

Amazing & beautiful love story with lots of drama.
Wow! I loved this story so much that I couldn't put it down. Its so emotional reading what Quinn had been through in the past & what she still going through at the hands of her sick evil husband. Joe lived her from the minute he saw her, he knew her past still haunted her but didn't want to pressure her into telling him when she was ready but when disappeared he had to do a thing her could to get her back to save her. At times it seemed like they would never get their happy ever after in a life they bothered deserved. Have loved all the books in this series & sad that it is the last one but can't wait for the next story.

I waited for Joe's story (very impatiently I might add) for what seemed like forever. I started asking Tracy for Joe's story after his first appearance in Ben and Lauren's story and he was definitely worth the wait! I love Joe! He is just....everything. Quinn is a beautiful broken woman hiding a major secret about her past. He past finally catches up with her but the way Joe handles everything when its all over is just....wow.... This book made me smile and cry. I definitely recommend this wonderful conclusion to this amazing series. The falling series is the reason I began reading romance and the Forbidden series kept me on my toes to the very end. Thank you Tracy for writing amazing stories.

You have to read this book! I am sad to see the Fallen series come to an end but damn!, what a way to end it! Tracy did a wonderful job with Joe and Quinn's conclusion. There was a lot of drama they why both had to over in this book and because they had each other it brought them closer. Quinn finally was able to fight back with Joe by her side and Joe, being alpha AF, would not let Quinn push him away and stayed beside her. This is a wonderful book and I highly recommend this book and all the books in these series!

This book is part 2 of a mini series within a series. It really needs to be read following the book avoiding temptation and it follows on. The whole first half of the book is the cliff hanger part of the book. Quinn has been kidnapped and Joe is beside himself to find where she is, and if she is ok. This book is also the final book of the whole series which has all the friends finding their HEA. It was well written and a page turner that I couldn’t put down. There was some steam!

This is such a great conclusion to Quinn and Joe's story. Tracy Lorraine exceeded my expectations with these two characters. I think they are my favorite of the series. This book was a strong, emotional story that took you on a ride through these two heart and mind. This was a really good ending for these two and their story. To see their characters develop was the way they should've. I liked how this story wrapped up the whole series with the other characters from this world in this book. Tracy Lorraine did a really great job with this series. I definitely recommend this book and this series to others.

I really liked this fast paced book about Joe and Quinn. Joe was young and at the end of his rope when he met a man who influenced his life. At the time Joe didn't know this was to his detriment. Quinn had her own past and ran from it, looking over her shoulder. When these two people met, it is in a classroom with Joe as the student and Quinn the teacher. He falls in love and all the bad things he has committed runs through his mind. He knows he has to become a man worthy of Quinn. The twists and drama is to be read about and how Joe and Quinn ended up. I recommend this read.

Chasing Temptation is the conclusion to Joe and Quinn's story and it picks up where Avoiding Temptation left off. I definitely recommend you read book one first to fully understand Joe and Quinn's relationship. Quinn and Joe go through so much in this book and I didn't want to miss a thing so I kept on reading straight through lunch. This book is filled with drama, suspense, danger, twists, romance and a great ending. What a fantastic conclusion to the Forbidden series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The conclusion to Joe and Quinn's story. Her backstory is more heartbreaking than I realized. There's so much heartache in this series, and the sad thing is that much of it comes from people that are supposed to love you unconditionally. I love the friendship "family" these characters have. They may not fit on paper, but their baggage and love for their significant others brings them together. I love that the couples will walk through fire for each other, and that after so much pain, they all finally get their HEAs.

I was looking forward to reading this book after reading Avoiding Temptation. This is the conclusion of the story about Quinn and Joe. Quinn has disappeared and Joe is desperately searching for her. This book answers all the questions left unresolved in the first book and delivers a satisfying ending. This series is on my TBR list as well as others written by Tracy Lorraine because I have enjoyed all the ones that I have read. I voluntarily read this book for an honest review for Booksprout.

When Joe went back to school to make more of himself, he fell hard and fast for his teacher, Quinn. She saw something special in him, too, and it seemed as if their friendship would develop into so much more. On their way to finding real love, Quinn's past came back to haunt her and ripped her away from Joe. The tension was ratcheted high and the worst was yet to happen to Quinn. Joe had to save her, but how can he save her when he doesn't know where she is! This is a wonderfully written book that is tender, emotionally satisfying, frightening and witty. It ticks all my boxes!

Yet again, Tracy Lorraine about ripped my heart out with part 2 of Joe and Quinn's story, but it was so worth it. Quinn's past is horrible and Joe, the sweetheart that he is, does all he can to get her past it. Their love is beautifully written and their story told with so much emotion, drama, some suspense and of course love. This was the perfect way to finish out the series. Phenomenal!

Joe and Quinn have that rare attraction that neither one can deny and he will go to the end of the earth to have her and protect her. When she gets kidnapped by her soon to be ex husband Joe breaks in to protect what is his getting injured himself. Loved their hot relationship and how devoted they are to each other.

I love Joe! I didn’t know I would love him so much after Lauren and Ben’s story but he has grown on me. He has reasons for being the way he is and it’s beautiful to see him embrace love and fight for Quinn. I love that we get to see his side of things in this story with just one little side from Quinn. It’s actually perfect!

I have some books to catch up with but I really enjoyed this story. This is Joe and Quinn's conclusion. This is a fast paced book with lots of drama, suspense, tension, danger and they both had to get over some difficulty to bring them closer together. This is the conclusion tomJoe and Quinn’s story. It starts when the last book left off and has you reading to drama, adventure, intrigue and twists and of course romance. Joe is there by her side even if she tries pushing him away but he refuses to let her! This was a wonderful storyline and characters and had the pull to get you into the story!

An absolutely fantastic final book in the Forbidden series and book two of the Temptation Duet. It is a well written, well developed, engaging, and emotionally deep read. The suspense, danger, steamy scenes, deep emotions, and more will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are amazing; you will love them, root for them, share their pain, and cheer with them. Definitely recommended.

This is the second story in the duet and is part of the "Forbidden" series. Although you don't have to read that series to follow this one you should read "Avoiding Temptation". You would get more of the back story if your read the "Forbidden" series. This is a forbidden teacher and student story that runs the spectrum on emotions. This the conclusion to Joe and Quinn's story. Overall I like their story and how it developed with a little angst.
