Thanks to Hachette and Karun Chandhok for the advanced copy for review.
If you have a kid on your life that loves formula 1 or is starting to become interested in it then this is a great book. It is an interesting read for kids that showcases the current drivers, cars and teams alongside some of the bigger moments of the sports past (think Senna v Prost etc) but does it in an age appropriate way.
You can tell Karun has kids that love the sport as much as him. The excitement of the sport jumps off the page and he is eager to help kids learn.
The simple graphics and top Trump style cards for certain drivers add to the visual appeal for kids as well.
Although this is a book aimed at children is perfect for anyone wanting to get into F1, wanting to expand their knowledge or just to refresh their knowledge.
It includes everything you need to know from how the sport started, how it got shown on TV, all about the cars, past and present drivers.
I loved how it if included current drivers on the grid along with the greats in the sport with fun facts throughout the book! Especially loved the mention of the previous female F1 drivers and the F1 Academy to include both girls and boys who love this sport.
5/5 stars from me!
Many thanks to NetGalley for providing me an e-arc in change for a honest review.
