Honestly, this series just keeps getting better and better. I have Penelope shipped with two characters and I’m so torn on who I would love to see her end up with. The pure intelligence and strategic thinking it’s taking her to make it through this game is mind blowing. And like her I’m always shocked when I think I have things figured out. This one comes with a plethora of twists and turns so much sure you have the next volume before on hand. Another great installment and I can’t wait to get my hands on volume 6.

PS-what color is Winter’s gauge?!? He’s the one I ship the most thus far. Him and, I hate to say it, Reynolds. He’s pink and so cute with his crush! Derrick is an @$$ and Eckles…I do NOT trust him! The Prince is… kinda violent and I don’t like that. I understand it, but I don’t like it.

Penelope is the ultimate girl boss and no one can tell me differently because of how she absolutely slayed in this volume! 😤😤😤

I mean it's already #facts that she slays each and every time, but with all the absolute crap that Derrick gave her this volume, there is ZERO denial at how girl boss she is and can handle things herself! I guess just too bad the game doesn't feel the same way because what a twist with the new developments the game has created! :o :o :o

Truly, just when I think Penelope has no need to worry for her life, this game throws stuff at her and strikes fear into my heart! This story WILL follow the villainess trope of the story plot being changed and that SHE will be okay right?? RIGHT?? Because while my heart was totally scared of the new changes, the deep sadness I felt in this volume made me want to cry because I need our best girl to truly smile and be happy like Winter told her. 😭😭😭

I can't say I was excited to see all the guys have so much page time (because Derrick can go sit in a dumpster for the rest of his life), but I really loved seeing Callisto, Winter, and Reynold!

And I mean ALLLLLLL THE CALLISTO!!! *fans face* While my heart was excited to see Winter because of his deep kindness towards Penelope (will just overlook their first meeting *nervous laughter*) and even how "kind" Reynold was to our girl boss, those multiple pages of Callisto recovering made my heart skip a beat. LOL! And then those later pages where he absolutely looked AMAZING…excuse me while I pick myself up off the floor after falling out of my chair! LOL!

I was VERY curious how he would take the news of things from what Penelope said prior and goodness, he did not disappoint! LOL! Sorry not sorry for your plan backfiring there Penelope because I'm shipping you hard with Callisto and glad to know he isn't going anywhere! LOL!

A few random favorite things: the touching conversation Penelope has with her "father" (I teared up), how beautiful she looks in multiple outfits, how the head butler has "teamed up" with Penelope (they make a good tag team LOL), and those few genuine and stunning smiles by Penelope. 🥹🥹🥹

Please volume six come out quickly because I need more!! Such an excellent volume!

The question with a lot of these game-life stories is whether or not they're really games. This series has played with that better than most, and with the sudden reminder that the mobile game was a pay-to-play, a new layer is added. The people may act more like people than characters, but Penelope can't bring herself to trust in that, and I can't say that any of the love interests are remotely trustworthy. With each development, the questions of survival and return to her own world become murkier, and I'm no longer sure which would be the better option.

I love this series so much. I can’t wait to see what other people think about the colored affection meters. Callisto is the best, even if he’s a bit unhinged. He truly cares for Penny. And I hope that Winter becomes a closer friend for both of their sakes.

Nothing like having Callisto and Eckles being the current top players! My two favorites are now guaranteed to be in the story way more and I’m excited!
Seeing Derrick get stomped out by Penelope for basically throwing her under the bus was unbelievably satisfying. He’s my least favorite of the potential loves and I’m here to see him fall on his face.
And after this volume I’m worried about Eckles and what his story will unfold. This new “mood ring” affection meter is going to be frustrating to decipher and I’m ready for it. I’m thinking it might have to do with the persons intention towards Penelope. Maybe Eckles is getting like unhealthily attached or possessive so his color is more sinister. Verses the others who fall into the red hues that can be seen as red=love/positive interest.
Which brings me to my current favorite thing, all the Callisto and Penelope story progress. I’m so here for this pairing and I was worried that we would not see him for a while since the hunt ended. But know that he’s the 2nd in line and he pretty much moved in, more Callisto makes me very happy. His affection meter be a deep red I think indicated his intention with Penelope is real. She sees it as red=warning but red is also the staple color for love and passion. I think the hunt really bonded the two (wether Penelope admits it or not) and so he does in fact care for her and not just curious like the beginning.
Anyway, amazing volume I always have so much fun reading this series and it’s hard not to read ahead. Excited for the next volume!

Se me olvidó actualizar hace 3 días que terminé el cómic.

Necesito que Norma Editorial publique más rápido. Más incluso que el sitio pirateado donde me estoy leyendo el cómic (este tomo recoge hasta el capítulo 100 o así y yo voy por el 177, creo). Eso hace que vea con otra perspectiva momentos como el de Kallisto visitando a Penélope. Que entiendo a la protagonista, yo también sería una paranoica con que me van a matar, pero es que no le pasa ni una al muchacho. 🤣

Eckles en cambio no me daba nada de buena espina. Su afecto subía demasiado rápido para ser un esclavo. Es la trama que más me desagrada. Entiendo que la protagonista tiene que ser egoísta y seguir la trama, pero aún así no puedo evitar que se me tuerza la boca cada vez que interactúan.

En fin, a esperar al siguiente.

P. D. Ojalá tener una mina de diamantes como Penélope ahora. O una de esmeraldas (cofcofMuskcofcof) y vivir la vida beauty.

This turned out to be another binge read so review for volumes 4-6. Now up to date. Well one more to go that wasn't series linked. Continues on from the hunting tournament and Penelope's cross bow and ends with the hint that Ivonne is going to be another bad guy playing the innocent heroine. The preview looks fun. Here comes the water. Eckles makes me cringe, he feels like he's going into yandere territory. Winter seems a bit wishy washy distant and feels more like a mentor character. Don't like Derrick at all. The other one is brother territory, leaving Callisto as the dark horse. Their scenes together are fun. I liked that he showed up.
