Sweet Read
I absolutely love this story. Luke and Ally are a delightful couple. Their journey gives you all the sweet loving feelings. I want to hug them both. I can't wait to read the next book. The writing and flow of this book is done well. I highly recommend this book.

right. i feel like he could've been more respectful and talk to the heroine of stuff like consent and boundaries before going into a ddlg relationship (which was full time and without breaks). i dnf-ed right at the moment they started their relationship because i don't feel comfortable and i don't think it's right that it's her first time in a relationship like this and yet she isn't given full disclosure on how she can speak up for herself and withdraw consent whenever. being a daddy dom definitely doesn't mean he gets to control every single part of her including her ability to give consent 🤨

I feel somewhat unqualified to rate this book. Let me preface this by saying I only saw part of the blurb and didn't read the fine print on the cover. Plus if I had I wouldn't have known what ABDL was.
I only dabble in the DDlg kink/trope. And that is only because I inadvertently stumbled upon books by Laylah Roberts' that I loved. Did I understand and like everything? No. But the books were good and I liked the characters.
So now that you know my background on the subject let me ramble away.
This book had many aspects in common with the other books I had read. It had strong chemistry between the characters and was well written. But I was not fully comfortable with Luke's desires. When he first mentions how big of a turn on it would be to see Ally in a diaper I was a bit flummoxed.
I knew via other books that this was something that could happen but I wasn't prepared for it.
I pretty much kept reading because the characters and writing were good, I hate DNF-ing and I wanted to push myself to understand why I reacted so vividly. To say getting to the end was a challenge would not be an exaggeration. And I found my squeamishness at some scenes a bit odd since I openly read some dark dubious and twisted books. The best I can say is I personally have a boundary for books containing DDlg and humiliation aspects. My mind just doesn't understand the appeal he would find in changing her diaper after she "filled" it. But then again some other readers might struggle to understand why I love dark romance books where sometimes even the FMC gets hurt or kidnapped. To each their own respectfully.
So given how this book unfolds I have a dilemma when it comes to rating it. Part of me feels too unqualified and the other feels that even though it's not my "cup of tea", I finished it and should be able to rate it.
Everything flowed nicely up until the "conflict". That itself felt exaggerated and I couldn't take the drama seriously. They only knew each other for a short while so who cares if he's rich and you just found out. Sure he said he'd never lie. But that drama was kind of laughable to me. Anyways after they talked it out the book wrapped up really quickly by teasing the 2nd book in the series. Which has me pondering the idea of reading it.
Considering all that I'd rate this book between a 3 & 4. It gets props for being well written and having good characters and chemistry. Plus being able to make me curious about book 2. But it takes hit for the "conflict" and my above mentioned struggle with the ABDL aspects.

Ally's Christmas Daddy, Book 1 of the West Coast Daddies, was about Ally Blake, a waitress at the local diner, and Luke Matthews, the new town sheriff.
This story had a dynamic that wasn't my cuppa tea. While it was a decent book, and I'm sure a lot of readers will enjoy it, I wasn't into the whole diaper, baby-feeding aspect of it. Other than that, it was a decent book. However, right out of the starting gate, the author showed how repetitive it would be. The various times the author used the phrase "she felt like a kid again", plus the heavy emphasis the MMC made on the requirement that the FMC wear a diaper was overwhelming It was as if that were a deal breaker if she didn't accept that aspect of the relationship. And, to him...it was.
While the MMC was well-developed and mature, the FMC was somewhat lacking in both areas. Not because of the "Little Girl" dynamic, but because she seemed to have been written one brick shy of adulthood.
Even though it wasn't my type of story, I will still rate it for the other dynamics. It didn't have a lot of angst or drama, and the spice level was very low. There was a small amount of push/pull between the two main characters and an even smaller amount of ex-drama. But other than that, the story was bland. I could only give it a two-star rating, and I probably won't finish the series because I'm just not into this dynamic. But I hope other readers who are will enjoy it.

Luke's last relationship crashed and burned and he was not looking for a new little girl but when he saw Ally he just knew that she was a little and that she desperately needed someone to take her in hand. Can he do what it takes to keep her safe whether she likes it or not and can he help her to believe in the magic of Christmas again?
I enjoyed this story with the stubborn Little in Ally and the Daddy in Luke who was hesitant but was soon all in. Their story was very endearing and I loved the way that they were able to revive the Christmas spirit together. It was great the way that he did his best to go slowly and to get her to really understand what he wanted to happen between them. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content and a BDSM-DDLG relationship.
I enjoyed this story with the stubborn Little in Ally and the Daddy in Luke who was hesitant but was soon all in. Their story was very endearing and I loved the way that they were able to revive the Christmas spirit together. It was great the way that he did his best to go slowly and to get her to really understand what he wanted to happen between them. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content and a BDSM-DDLG relationship.

Kate Oliver is a fairly new author for me so I'm reading all her books from the backlist. This was a cute story and I loved Luke and Ally. Daddies and their littles has become a favorite of mine and this one was good enough for me, even though the ABDL isn't really my thing. It was written in such a way that I honestly didn't mind it. About the only thing that bothered me was Luke insisted on no lies which also includes omissions. Turns out he holds back a huge secret from her and it hurts her enough to where he has to do some groveling to win her back. Other than that, I loved the story and can't wait to read more in this series!

I really did love this book.. I did not like that he was not willing to compromise on any of the things that he wanted .. It was like his way or the high way , it was also bull how he preached to her how even half truths and omissions were still lies and she asked if he had deep dark secrets and he said NO.. The fact that he kept his secret in the beginning I understand , the fact that he never told her his secret and that he never told her his ex kept emailing him and texting him I do not understand .. She let him off way way to easy ..

Goodness such a great story
I had a difficult time with putting this book down. Ally didn’t know for sure if she was a little but Luck knew almost instantly. Luke had just come out of a bad situation where the woman pretended to be little just so she could get at his money. Ally was still reeling from the deaths of her parents even though it had been almost five years ago. With Luke’s help he guides her into his world with the one hiccup happening when his ex shod up and tries to stake a claim on him. So looking forward to the next book.

Kink issues with this book
Ok, so I am all for a good Smut Kink book. However, I have issues with this book.
1. There was no discussion of safeword before he spanked her the very first time.
2. He covers himself with a towel first instead of her.
3. He constantly seems to want to change her, and his ultimatums don't allow her to slowly come into the lifestyle.
4. Lastly, after reading one smut book on ddlg culture doesn't make you proficient in the lifestyle.
I am gonna give the second book a try, but

daddy Luke & little Addie we’re so cute. I enjoyed them both immensely in the best ways. Luke was a stern daddy who had a love for some small humiliation (definitely not in a traumatizing way).
I loved that he had to do some slight groveling at the end too bc he knew he screwed up & hurt allie. a good grovel scene is always the best.

Really wanted to like this one.
This is the only book by this author that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. I think it boils down to really not liking Luke. There was something off with his personality. Strict I can get behind but adding humiliation into a “daddy” dynamic was just not appealing to me. A daddy with sadistic tendencies just doesn’t jell. And the diapering was just not for me. But it was still a very well written book. I will still read more from this author.

Luke is so gruff with Ally at first but it was because he was attracted to her and was very protective. Ally was a sweet, happy, girl-next-door, that everyone loved, but with a heartbreaking past. Ally was very little in this story with diapers and everything baby. If you love DD/Babygirl kink you will love this HFN story. Personally I wonder how they will keep their 24/7 kink private for long?

Please read the Tigger warning
They are there for a reason. I have read DD/LG on websites but this is the first I've read on Kindle. It's sweet and really DADDY DOM related. I loved how Luke kept him DD all through the book.l but got me aggravated that he mentioned his ex SO MANY TIMES. Ally was always so sweet and it was nice seeing her grow into her baby girl self. Cute short story. Now I'm on to the next.

Strict Daddy!
This book was the first where the DD/lg dynamic went super little. I find I am not a big fan of how little she went in this book, but the dynamic they set for themselves worked with the story. I enjoyed reading how they both healed from different experiences and fell in love. I will be reading the next book. If you like the Baby girl aspect of a DD/lg relationship, this book is for you :)

This is not what I usually read, and downloaded it on a Stuff Your Kindle day through a dare.
I’m not a Little/Daddy person, and so there was a lot of words that just gave me the ick. However, I think the author did a good job showing the relationship between a Daddy and Little dom relationship. So I give credit where credit is due.
This was my first time reading a Daddy/Little book, and definitely my last. Not for me.

The storyline is cute and emotionally charged.
I liked how Luke opens Ally's eyes to this kink in an appropriate way.

Ally's car breaks down, her phone is dead and she needs to get home. She wasn't expecting the sheriff to order her to get in his car, take her home, fix her heat issue and have her car towed and worked on. It was nice being able to lean on someone after all the years of being alone and one her own. This is a wonderful DD/LG story. It is heart wrenching when Ally talks about her parents and heartwarming the way Luke takes care of her. I loved it.

A new author to follow
This book was brilliant from start to finish.
Right from the beginning you could feel the connection and chemistry between the two main characters.
It was also good to read a book that discussed dirty diapers as well as wet ones.
Most DDLG books just gloss over the subject.
Will definitely be reading more books from this author
This book was brilliant from start to finish.
Right from the beginning you could feel the connection and chemistry between the two main characters.
It was also good to read a book that discussed dirty diapers as well as wet ones.
Most DDLG books just gloss over the subject.
Will definitely be reading more books from this author

Love a man in uniform!
Ally needs a Daddy to help her with life. Luke needs a Baby to take care of and love. When Luke sees Ally walking down main street in the dark during a snow storm, he about loses his mind. But he finds what he was looking for at the same time. They are perfect together. Great story. Now bring on Kane and Haylee!!

Very good book!
Ally lost her mom and dad on Christmas Eve and since then she has been so sad and doesn't celebrate Christmas any more. When the new sheriff comes to town, she feels as though she might find that happiness again. But a crazy ex and learning a new lifestyle makes for a rocky start. It ends with a beautiful hea and a lot of love. Excellent characters.
