Big Gator

Rate this book
Curvy alligator shifter Brandy Guyette is more than just a BBW. She's a BBG – a Big Beautiful Gator.

As the biggest female gator ever measured in the Southeastern U.S., Brandy has the hotter-than-hot wildlife expert and famous gator wrestler Jake McEvans equally enthralled. McEvans fell in love with her as a primo reptilian specimen the day he fished her out of a swimming pool in Miami and made her the starring attraction of Animal Sphere, his famous theme park in South Florida. Soon, McEvan's relationship with his model girlfriend starts crumbling when she realizes she can't compete with an alligator.

But Brandy wants McEvans to see her as more than just a big gator to wrestle – she wants him to notice her as a human woman.

Brandy comes from a long line of shifters, the descendants of a Louisiana man struck with a Hoodoo curse, courtesy of the legendary Madame Eve LaBelle. Brandy's kin are not the only alligator shifters around. Madame LaBelle put the juju on pretty much everyone who pissed her off circa 1884, and now their descendants are spread out all over the Gulf Coast.

There's plenty of downside – as curses are supposed to deliver – but for Brandy being a BBW in the Floridian shifter community earns her respect and admiration, from both men and women, for being the biggest and most desirable alligator around. She's also not one to be trifled with. Brandy is known for delivering 'swamp justice' whenever someone has it coming.

When Brandy accidentally shifts in front of McEvans, events are set into motion that enflame both their passions with potential risk. And soon the legacy of Madame Eve LaBelle rises from the grave in the form of another Conjure Woman who is just learning how to use her own power, with very direct implications for Brandy and McEvan's burgeoning relationship.

Great First!!

I said to myself when I saw a gator shifter huh???? I live in Florida so I know how ugly and vicious looking they are. Well surprise, surprise....I loved it and the way Annora describes them, totally believable and she even makes them look great to the reader!!! Hey if there can be snake shifters why not a gator? Sure their life span is shorter and they have to be really careful about birth control, not to mention the dry skin, but all in all they are awesome..

I really enjoyed reading this first gator shifter story and the author wrote it in a way to make it so believable, A love story worth reading, no strong sexual situations, so anyone can enjoy it!!

I can't wait to read the next story cause there is much mystery to discover about what makes these alligator shifters.

Great story Annora!

Omgosh when I came across books about Gator shifters I just had to have them! Sounded so unique. They went on sale on Amazon so I grabbed them both up. I was not disappointed. I easily got into this and just loved it! This was a very unique and interesting world. I also loved that the heroine was a curvy woman she was still awesome and beautiful as a skinny heroine. This story was funny, full of action and drama all things I love in a book and keeps me turning the pages for more.
I also loved all the background and history and learning about all the Gator shifting families and how they live and cope with who they are. The umm....part where a real gator can get a shifter gator preggo and she can have up to 20-40 babies! EEEK!!! I am excited I have the 2nd book and reading the summary looks just as good. Will happily dive in :)

This book was a little different from my usual shifter story. I had never found another gator shifter story and I really enjoyed this one. It's funny how one persons curse is another person's best thing ever. I loved how Brandy gets involved in Animal Sphere and gets her man in the end. It was funny how everyone in the story ties together from the gator's to the hoodoo witch that cursed them all in the beginning. I will certainly be looking for more from this author in the future!

I really enjoyed this story and it has a LOT of original ideas in it that I thoroughly enjoyed! Once again I am doing the happy dance over here because I have found a new author to add to my 'Must-buy' list. Yay!

Fair warning though, it has enough editing/grammar mistakes to sink a battleship!!! I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of it. Seriously, if this bothers you, be warned.

OH yes this was one really great shifter book. I think one of the reasons I liked it so much is the fact that is was a different type of shifter "gator". Two all of the love interests were all shifters. And three it had a since of mystery about the book as well. I am looking forward to more Gulf Coast Gator books.

This is a full length book. It is a book about gator shifters. So if you don't like shifter books then this book isn't for you. I do believe however that if this is your first shifter book you'd love it! This book has love, greed, passion, and plenty of action!

I really liked the idea of an alligator shifter but too much back story had the plot moving very slowly. The story seemed more like an education on alligators instead of a romance.

These books are fantastic. I just wish they were longer. I like the fact that they are based on average sized women
