Her Lucky Charm

Rate this book
Some people collect lucky rabbit’s feet . . .
Apparently I collect lucky boyfriends . . .

So when my luck changes after run-ins with three gorgeous guys?
I’m not sure which one is the source of my newfound fortune.

Roman -- My old high school crush who shows up in Vegas looking more tall, dark, and handsome than I remembered.
Danny -- The blond-haired, blue-eyed friend whose sexy smile and playful wink brighten my mood every day.
Victor -- The chiseled motorcycle-riding bouncer whose rough exterior probably translates to the bedroom . . .

The more time I spend with them, the luckier I am in the casino.
Every dice roll lands my way, and every blackjack hand hits twenty-one.

Can I figure out which of these three amazing men is the source of my good fortune?

Or will I stretch my luck too far?

Best Kind of Luck

I really enjoy Cassie Cole's books, be it the written words, audio, or a bit of both. This book I did a bit of both. With the exception of Armando, the characters are engaging, fun, sexy, and interesting.

I love that Vic wasn't stereotypical. I also loved that he could quickly fall into the role of dominant when the situation called for it. In many ways, he was the unlikely candidate but the one we got to see deepest into. And I love the nickname he have her - Shamrock. 🍀

Rose may have started out sweet and mostly innocent but that slowly morphed. I appreciated that, with one glaring exception, she chose honesty over what was easiest. In the end, while a tad awkward, it paid off. In spades! 🌹

Then there's Danny and Roman. All I'll say about them is that a girl would be lucky to have either but to have both? That's just plain greedy! 🍀🔥💚👍😁 Good job, Rose!

The narrators, Curt Bonnem & Ramona Radcliff, made for good ear candy. I liked them a lot.

Holy hotness this book was absolutely fantastic and so good. Rose has always been lucky at everything she's done in life and her gambling life but when her luck runs out will it take 3 hot men for her luck to return? Will they all agree to become one big family such a great story and I need her luck.

The last third was the best part, but leading up to it was rough

2.5 stars

My issue with this book wasn’t the reverse harem part, but it was Rose. For most of the book, I didn’t like her. At the end she did acknowledge what I was feeling the entire book, but by then it was just too late. I felt she treated the men like absolute garbage for a lot of the book. I didn’t feel like she cared about them and was just using them. Then the focus of each of her relationships with the guys was just smut. There wasn’t much else to their “romances.” I needed more of feelings and intimacy throughout not just the end.

I did like all the guys. I didn’t think the deserved what she dished out. I liked how protective they were at the end. The end had a little bit of edge to it with a little bit of suspense and action, which I thought was good.

Good read, but had me tense all the way through waiting for the shoe to drop.
I knew something bad was coming.

I enjoyed the chemistry, the characters and the writing, but not a fan of the storyline (gambling)
It just made me uncomfortable.

If your good with the subject then go for it because its very well written and thought through.

Hawt!!! 🔥 This reverse harem story has a lucky theme. Rose is usually lucky in all aspects of her life but she hit the jackpot with her 3 lucky men. The narration was great with all the different voices.

I requested this audiobook from www.audiobooksunleashed.com for free and have voluntarily left this review.

I enjoyed this sexy read that also had humour and heart. The three guys couldn't have been any different, but they all played their parts in making Rose very happy and very lucky. I enjoyed learning about being a professional sports gambler, but I don't think I have the kind of luck Rose has, not in gambling or in men.

𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 (h) has always been lucky, and things have gone her way, so she is a full-time professional gambler. However, when a change of luck seems to run out, she is willing to do anything to get it back. Coincidentally, whenever she is around Roman Keller, Victor Palomino, and Daniel Durant (H) her luck seems to return. So while she feels attracted to all three of them, she doesn’t want to risk losing them, or else her luck could cease.

༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳

Roman was Rose's highschool crush, so when she reconnects with him in Vegas, she doesn’t think it's a coincidence but fate. I would have loved him, but he fell way too hard and fast, which his friend hinted at. I could have sworn he had been in Vegas for one week, and he was already telling Rose that he was in love with her and wanted to be exclusive; he just came on too strong for my liking. First, there was no way this man was thinking about a high school spin-the-bottle kiss for five years. She hadn’t even thought about him again since that day. He had no reason to be in love with her within a week; he needed to calm down and return home. Then he was upset when he saw her with Vic and Danny as if she had told him she only liked him; nope, this man was too grown to be throwing tantrums. He was such a sweetheart too, but the fact that he down bad after 7 days was really odd behavior.

Danny was more likable because he had the most in common with Rose, and he was the one keeping her in check. I hated that Rose only initiated that relationship because she felt like he was her lucky charm, or else she would never have made a move. Often, it felt like she was using Danny more than anyone, and it felt selfish. I don’t think she was truly in love with him or anyone, but she liked what he could do for her. She didn't like being lonely, and being with Danny resolved that issue. He had been pursuing her from the start and when she finally gave him a chance he felt like the lucky one.

Vic pushed Rose out of her comfort zone and allowed her to try new things regarding her preferences in the bedroom. They had nothing in common, nor did they know each other well, and they kissed on day 1. This was the first dynamic to develop, and he had no issues with sharing and didn’t seem to care about Rose other than sex. I’m not sure why they clicked, but I didn’t exactly care for them, at least he protected her and defended her when everything went down in the casino.

The main issue is that we never got to delve into the background of any of the characters, so they felt very flat. It was challenging to care for the harem when they didn't even meet each other until 85% in, and it turned into a big argument because Rose didn't want them to know of each other yet. Individually, they worked, but once they got together, it felt forced, and I didn't see them going anywhere in the long run. The epilogue says otherwise, but these people did not have chemistry outside of Vegas. Rose was also a gambling addict, she 100% needed help, but that was ignored.

*. ⋆𝐎͢𝐕͢𝐄͢𝐑͢𝐀͢𝐋͢𝐋͢

It was an interesting concept, I don’t think I’ve read something like this before, but it didn’t work as harem for me. Typically, the people in a harem already have a history together and are comfortable sharing the girl because they’ve done it before. However, this was new for everyone and developed really late. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

I've read some of Cassie Cole's previous RH stories and set my expectations accordingly. They've been a bit hit and kinda miss with me but typically, I've enjoyed them for what they are, a little superficial and fluffy without a lot of character development but tons of heat.

St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner so when, as luck would have it, this popped up in my FB newsfeed as a recommendation I didn't hesitate to borrow it though my KU subscription and settle in for a bubble bath and bottle of wine while I dove it.

Don't be fooled; while the title, book cover, and release date might suggest this is a St. Patrick's Day themed book, that is not the case. I enjoyed it, so I'm not that disappointed (but still I'm a little disappointed). This book is all about luck, Rose's luck, that suddenly changes when Danny, Roman, and Vin come into her life as potential partners.

In previous books I've read by the author the trio of guys that are to become the heroine's harem are a pre-existing group of friends and they pretty quickly all get on the same page... and bed. This story, while still fast-paced, quick-burn, took nearly the whole book to get the whole gang together and I have to say I am loving it. I found it much easier to fall in love with each hero as we were given a better opportunity to get to know them as individuals. I find that things get a bit muddled when everyone is together from the jump as the heroes tend to get lumped together as "the guys" and don't feel as distinct as I would like. That being said, I wouldn't have complained had the ménage aspects of the story been introduced a little earlier or carried on a little longer.

I liked all of the characters and really felt their connections forging. I enjoyed the dates that Rose went on with each man, as each seemed to be the perfect fit for her - fun, best friend, Danny; serious, high school crush, Roman; and intense, chemistry laden speed-date, Vic. How's a girl to chose? Things get a little complicated when Rose loses sight of what is important as it ostensibly become evident that her luck is dependent on being intimate and building her relationships with all three men.

I enjoyed this story and recommend it.

** Trigger Warning ** O Fortuna! I love this book. It’s a fast burn, contemporary, reverse harem romance set in Las Vegas. This story is chock full of steamy romance, fast-paced action, laugh out loud moments, and high stakes. The four-leaf clover on the cover is more about good luck than St. Patrick’s Day. I adore how Rose’s good luck streaks are such a big part of the story. I suspect there is a little supernatural influence, but I don’t want to give anything away. While a couple of the main characters are sports gamblers, you don’t need to know anything about sports – or gambling – to enjoy the story.

I thoroughly enjoy how the female main character, Rose, is an imperfect person. She makes some mistakes which create a lot of the tension in this story. While there is a villain, the protagonist creates her own issues and obstacles. (This made for an excellent climax and an epiphany, by the way.) There is mention of gambling addiction, so this might be a “trigger” for some readers.

The male main characters, Danny, Vic, and Roman, are all funny and sexy. Danny and Rose are friends with plenty of flirting, then she agrees to go on a date. Vic meets Rose at a speed-dating event, and the chemistry is instant and explosive. Roman is her high school crush and first kiss, who bumps into her while on a bachelor party vacation. It’s fun to see how each guy gives her different flavors of a hot dish!

A few of my favorite things: A brief cameo of Sage from All In, also by Cassie Cole, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shorts, the muscle cramp from the toe-curling pleasure, Danny’s rescue mission, Vic’s thing with needles, the diner, Bill the teller, and the happily ever after epilogue. I also love the mystery (and possible magic) of Rose’s abundant good luck.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Rose Bishop , Roman Keller, Danny Durant, and Victor Palomino. When this book opens we find that Rose ever since she was little she was a very lucky girl. She was able to win on lottery tickets and other aspects of her life. When she was in high school she went to a party at one of the most popular girls. While there they decide to play spin the bottle who does it land on Roman the most popular and handsome guy there. She tried college to explain her luck but when she started making money away from school she changed her mind and moved to Las Vegas instead. On day though her luck just wasn't there. She met Danny while going to the sports betting casino and became great friends with him. So when he asked her out she would always turn him down. One night he decides to head to a speed dating location and talks Rose into joining him. That is where she meet Victor, she isn't sure what it is about him but they seem to click. When she returns to the casino though she runs into none other than Roman (the guy from high school). Well they haven't forgotten one another and well they sit down to catch up. Something changes with Rose's luck again and she's not sure who helped her change it but she is determined to find out. Will these 4 find a HEA or will it be just a lucky roll of the dice for them all?

This author put out another amazing hit. This will be one of those books you will start it and not be able to put it down. There is so much more I want to tell you but don't want to ruin it for other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked form the word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Rose is a professional gambler. She has always been lucky. Always wins. She goes to the casino daily and does her Sportsbook bets. Her friend Danny, who she met at the casino, has been after her to go out for a while. He invites her to go to a speed date event where she meets Vic, a bouncer at a casino. Sparks flair with him. When she goes back to the casino, she thinks she sees Roman, her crush from high school. Then her luck changes and she starts losing. What is she to do? She decides a change of scenery might help so she goes out with Danny. When she does, she notices that her bets start hitting again. Then she goes with Vic, same thing happens. When she hooks up with Roman, will the same thing happen?

I enjoyed this story. I liked Rose. She is a controlled gambler, betting only so much per game and she stays with sports. But when she decides to try her luck on her date with Danny, she gets scary and out of control. I understood Danny's anger and upset. This was clearly not the girl he knew, or we are coming to know. Then when the Super Bowl happens, and she gets the tingle up her spine, and all the guys are with her, I was unnerved and afraid of her and how it would affect her relationships. When she realizes what she has done with the men, she leaves but the casino gets involved. It was scary. Thank heavens for Danny butting his nose where it did not belong and Vic's job. It all could have ended badly for Rose.

Fortunately, it did not end for Rose or Danny or Vic or Roman. I got what I wanted and was satisfied. This is a cautionary tale though.

Oh my gosh this book is super super hot
Rose had always been lucky. It started when she was young when she got a lottery ticket and she had a win. Then as she time went on anything she chose to bet on She would win. When she was going through college she found online poker games where she made a lot of money. And decided to drop out of college and move to Las Vegas to try her luck. 2 years later and she was going strong!!
Then one night everything changed she couldn’t win anything. Black jack, the slot machines crib nothing was going right. Her good friend Danny talked her into going on a speed dating night and this changed everything. She met Vic a very hot bouncer who just made her melt. But that night she spent it with Danny but as she was leaving the hotel she bumped into her old school crush Roman and he looked amazing. They agreed to catch up When Rose told Danny he said you go for it, they weren’t exclusive. The next night she went out with Nick and had a really good time and ended up back at her apartment. Rose can’t believe she had three men after her and decided to just enjoy her time with them. But could her luck hold out????
This is a fantastic read and super super hot I really liked Rose, Vic, Danny and Roman. The storyline was brilliant , it was quite an addictive story to read. Cassie Cole does it again!!

I received this ARC via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. As I’ve said before, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not.

Rose has always had luck on her side, from childhood through her teens and into adulthood. The first couple of chapters showed just how lucky she was. It was amazing! After living as a professional gambler in Las Vegas for several years, her luck has changed. She almost doesn’t know what to do. Somehow, our loner girl, realizes that she has luck when she is with three different men, not at the same time. She takes advantage of that and unbeknownst to the men she uses them for her luck.

I have to say that I have read and reviewed for Booksprout many of Ms. Cole’s books. I have also purchased many more. You could definitely say that I am a fan of her work. I am not, however, a fan of Rose’s. I didn’t hate her character, but I didn’t like her very much. I did learn a lot through Rose (and Ms. Cole) though. I learned what a Parlay was is relation to gambling, I learned a lot about different things having to do with gambling and what you can do in casinos. I also learned that I must be the most boring person in the world since I don’t drink, gamble or have even remotely as exciting a ‘dating’ life as Rose has. This book (for me) was ok, but my favorite from Ms. Cole is still The Proposition.

Rose has always been extremely lucky her whole life. She may not win all the time but she does often enough. One of her luckiest moments in high school is when she was at a party playing spin the bottle, her spin landed on the hottest guys in high school who she had a crush on. Roman was such a great kisser Rose was afraid that he could never be interested in her. Rose went to college but quit after a couple years to become a professional gambler in Vegas Her luck has continued regularly until the day everything went bad. No matter what she did, she couldn't win. It was almost like her good luck turned upside down to bad. The next day her bad luck was continuing and she was freaking out. Her friend and fellow gambler, Danny who has been trying to date her for years convinces her to go to a speed dating event. At this event, she runs into Vic, a bouncer and sparks fly. Then she and Danny go back to the hotel and Rose runs into Roman is is there for a bachelor party. The two get acquainted and sparks fly again. Then Rose decides to rescue her night by having fun sexy times with Danny. Later she discovers that each encounter with Roman, Vic and Danny corresponded with a gambling win. Somehow those three men are lucky for her. No if she can just convince them to be with her all the time.

WARNING: This novel contains strong and explicit language, graphic scenes and other taboo content that may be disturbing to some readers. This is a reverse harem novel.

Rose has always been lucky starting when she was 5 and won $100 on the scratch off ticket left by Santa. Until one day she wasn't.

Victor's friend Mickey talked him into another night of speed dating. He's been doing this for years and has yet to met his soul mate. Roman was in Vegas and he could swear that the woman who just walked by was a girl he went to high school with. Danny was a professional gambler and has been trying to get a date with Rose for months.

Rose had a bad few days gambling, but tonight her luck was back. Although all her wins coincided with her contacts throughout the night with Danny, Victor and Roman. She didn't believe in coincidences. Were they her lucky charms. It was time to put her theory to the test.

I loved this book and the gambling storyline. Cassie Cole brought her characters to life with this very steamy novel. Definitely recommend if you read reverse harem books!

Rose has always been lucky and she has decided to use that luck to her advantage. She ends up becoming a full time gambler. Just when it seems like things are going well for her everything changes and her luck along with it. Danny is a friend and fellow gambler. When he hears of her bad day he talks her into coming to speed dating with him to try and cheer her up. While there she meets Vic a bouncer from a local club and they hit it off and end up talking passed the cut off time. When Rose and Danny return to the casino she runs into Roman a guy she had a crush on as a kid and he was her first kiss. Soon things heat up between her with all three of these men as she starts seeing them individually. Her luck starts turning around and she goes on a streak which lands her into trouble. What will happen when the guys learn about each other? Will she get banned from the casino? Can the four of them have a future together?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Rose has always been lucky. Since being a little girl, she’s won just about everything. From kids games, lottery tickets, poker to finally sports betting. She always wins. After college, she moves to Vegas to become a professional gambler and she’s very successful. One day all of that stops. She begins loosing every bet. A friend talks her into going to speed dating to take her mind off things. She meets only one possibility. When he kisses her, all of a sudden she gets that lucky feeling back. Later she meets an old high school crush, she gets that feeling again. Then her friend who’s shes seen daily at work, gives her that feeling, too. Her bets are starting to win again. She’s found her lucky charms. She has now gone from none to three hot guys. Lots of hot action between her and each of the guys. They are all so different. How is she going to choose? As always, this author has done it again. Can’t wait until her next book.

Rose has always had a lucky streak.. whether playing games as a child or playing games as an adult. No matter what shes done she has mainly won. Then for some reason one day her luck broke. Now shes losing money left and right. So she breaks down and goes with her friend Danny to a speed dating event. She meets Vic there and the chemistry is definitely there. Once back at the casino she gets drinks while Danny goes to the game room. She bumps into Ramen the guy she first ever kissed, her first crush. As his friends pull him away she heads back to Danny. Since losing seems to be the way her luck is going now she breaks down and hooks up with Danny. Who she has always found attractive she just never wanted to risk the friendship. After a hot night with him she meets up with Vic and yet another hot night. Then Ramen. Now her luck is changing and shes winning again but who is the one that brought her the good luck or could it be all 3. Great story line and I loved each of the guys.

This enjoyable read is about Rose who grew up lucky and became a professional gambler in Las Vegas until the fickle finger of fate turned the tables. Now on a colossal losing streak, Rose and her friend Danny go to a speed dating event and she meets Victor a bouncer in a club who catches her attention. Victor rejects her because of her belief of now being unlucky. Rose and Danny then go to the casino where she meets Roman her old high school crush who is in Vegas for a for a week long bachelor party. Roman gets pulled away by his friends. Rose feeling despondent about her bad luck decides to hook up with Danny. Rose then meets Victor, Roman and Danny again and while being with them realizes her luck changes. Are they her Good Luck Charm? This reverse harem was enjoyable to read and review and since it's being set in Las Vegas there's a lot about gambling in this romance book. I liked the characters depicted, the world building was quite detailed, and the romance was steamy with a cute premise in this ARC I volunteer to read and review via Booksprout.

Rose is innately lucky, so it just makes sense that she would chose the path of a professional gambler and move to Las Vegas. After too many close calls on the floor of the casino, being accused of cheating, she settles on the Sportsbook Room and an occasional poker game. Danny is a fellow gambler, and a great friend, whose made no secret he wants them to be more. Roman is her high school crush, who she didn't know was also crushing on her, and is in Vegas for a week long bachelor party. Victor is a local bouncer she meets at a speed dating event on the day after her most unlucky betting day ever, that she went to with Danny. So she goes there with Danny, meets Victor at t he event, bumps into Roman after and finds out her luck may just be coming back, but only when she's with the guys. Lucky girl, right? Well...you'll just have to read it to believe it.

This was a super-hot and steamy reverse harem romance. This one interesting for me because the three guys were strangers. Normally, in most reverse harems the guys are friends and they're looking for someone special to be with them. Roman is from Rose's past, they went to high school together and while all they ever shared was a kiss, they never forgot about each other. Danny and Rose have been friends since she moved to Vegas two years ago. He wants to move their relationship past friendship but Rose keeps turning him down because she doesn't want to lose her only friend. Finally, there's Victor who she meets when Danny drags her to a speed dating event. For weeks she dates all three of them separately, they each know about the other but never meet each other until one day when Rose's luck runs out. Definitely a fun read.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Rose is a professional gambler, she goes to the bookies everyday and meets up with Danny. She tells Danny that ever since she was a little girl she has been lucky, so she cannot workout why her luck is out. She bumped into an old school friend Roman and her luck changed, she caught up with him later. She finally allowed Danny to take her out, the chemistry was intense. Then she went out with Victor he was totally different he new she had dated the other guys but their sex was amazing he was the only one dominant. So Rose started to date all three they new each other but never met and the guys liked it that way. What will happen when they all run into Rose at the same time for different reasons? Will they get along or just walk away for good?

Rose has had extraordinary luck all her life and it's served her well by sports gambling until one day she loses her luck. She finally gives in to her friend Danny with a sex filled night and her luck comes back. She then meets Vic and the same thing happens & then reconnects with high school crush Roman. Juggling her three lucky charms while placing sports bets catches the eye of the casino with disastrous results. An okay story but I started skimming through all of the betting point spread stuff that took pages of explaining. Rose was a selfish unlikable FMC while Danny was OK, Vic was open minded, & Roman was kind of not wanting to share but it all works out in the end. It wasn't that great of a story but it also wasn't horrible. It had a plot & it was free to purchase so I'm not out any money. Also I was disappointed that no form of birth control or safe sex was even mentioned. Three men that you don't know their sexual history and you do all three of them & no one asked if she was on birth control. Yuck

Another fun and steamy RH story by Cassie Cole. There's lucky and then there is Rose. Rose wins at nearly everything she touches, so much so that she is a professional gambler living in Las Vegas. But she knows her limits and works hard to stay under the radar of the casinos, until one night when her luck changes. While she is down on her luck, Rose meets a new man, runs into an old high school crush, and decides to take a chance with a good friend. Being with these guys seems to turn her luck around, but can she continue to juggle three men without developing real feelings or will she chose one of them? This story has great characters, lots of chemistry, steamy sex scenes, and intrigue. Cassie Cole's stories are always a sure choice for me and I look forward to what she comes up with next.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Cassie wrote one of the first rh books that I have read and I have been a fan ever since. I think that this book has all the humor, steam and a well written storyline that I am used to. Danny, Victor and Roman are all great guys and each fill a purpose in her life. Rose has had lady luck on her side for most of her life. But I think that at first, her unlucky moments were actually the complete opposite. Because of no luck, she included three sexy men into her life. She had a lot of chemistry with each of them. They needed her just as much as she needed them. Needed her enough to share her. I liked each of the guys and how they brought out the best in each other.

I am not sure if you could classify a reverse harem as a cozy romance but this has all the cute elements with hints of danger they usually have. I mean it’s got some hotness too but I got warm and fuzzy all through this book. Rose is a girl with the best of luck her whole life. When one day it vanishes she isn’t certain what to do. After several bad days she goes to a speed dating with her friend Danny and her mojo comes back after fun moments. It’s a cute story that follows her journey through her career and her not so conventional relationships. It was a sweet Saint Patrick’s day read for me. For the most part I enjoyed the narrator. There’s was one character I didn’t feel fit the voice given to him because he just sounded to young to me but over all I was quite happy with this book!

I really enjoyed reading this book. Not only was it a ménage romance, but it had a strong storyline with a message behind it. If you have a trigger about gambling, then you should avoid reading this book.

Rose works full time as a gambler in a casino in Las Vegas and her friend Danny does it part time. She meets her old high school crush in the casino Romano and meets. She meets Vic while going to speed dating with Danny. There is lots of sex and lots of gambling, everything comes to ahead when Rose discover she has a problem when her gambling takes over her life. There is a HEA and Rose finds a balance in her life.

Rose had always been lucky as far back as her childhood days and all the way until now. She had even lived as a professional gambler in Vegas. Then suddenly the luck changed for some reason. As she meets three guys, one by one, she starts to find luck again. But she can’t determine which one is bringing the luck to her. How can she determine which one it is? Or is it somehow a combination of the three?

Being neither a gambler nor lucky, I couldn’t really relate to this one. I also have an aversion to using people, no matter how benign and harmless the usage may seem. I didn’t feel Rose was being very honest and I didn’t trust her. I am not saying this was a bad book, just not something I was drawn to or had any interest in.

Rose has always been lucky in her life and it helps to have luck on your side when you live in Las Vegas. This book was full of steam, sexy times and intense moments. I loved this book and it's definitely one of my favorites by Cassie.
