An enjoyable read
Ordinary family vs. drug cartels… The plot is suspenseful with some unexpected turns and the character development is good.
Here are two minor suggestions: (1) Occasionally, the lengthy narratives disrupt the pacing. (2) Reducing the frequent use of dialogue tags like "said" would be beneficial.
Overall, it's an enjoyable read.
