'' Like bananas, I had a window of optimum enjoyment, and it varied based on the person.'' I don't know why that made me laugh out loud so much but it did. Well, it certainly set the tone for that steamy rom com.
I loooove Kris Butler writting. I can't exactly explain why but everything I read from her just get me hooked and the way she phrase things and tell a story is just very compelling to me.
This one is a RH rom com, with a funny unapologetic confident heroine who also struggle with self doubt on other aspect. A bit contradictory, but the complexity of her characters make them easy to relate to and so easy to fall in love with them. I also loved Everly the heroine...but how could I not when she says think like that: ''should I pull is cock out of me? It might be a little difficult to walk back otherwise. But I'm all for trying sex-Lego if that's your new thing.''
As a moody and picky reader, one thing I loved about this book is how light and easy going it felt reading it. I you feel like it, you can easily go more in dept about the subject in this book about morals, what you want in life and how some relationship can be hard and/or toxic. I particularly like reading about those in a light tone that never feel like pressure or like the book's goal is to teach me a life lesson.
I binge read this light rom com and finished it feeling light and happy while apparently some life point to remember where absorb by osmosis in my subconscious critical mind.
To wrap up my long review: Kris Butler is definetly in my favorite author list. So if like me you are a fan of Tate James, J.Bree, Sadie Moss, Ivy Asher, Raven Kennedy, Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti, C.M. Stunich well you need to read Kris Butler book.
I strongly recommend that you read this book . You'll thank me later!

Let’s hear it for the size 20 girls!
Proud and loud on top of being Thirty and flirty! Was nice to read a book with a confident FMC who was not only plus sized, but hitting 30. She made her own way into the world and wasn’t ashamed of not having direction. The MMCs were all the things you would want to read about, supportive, loving, creative in their own right and all about making it work. No angst to this one. Great palate cleanser, great story.

Loved!!!!
Each chink in their armor, each sneak under their carefully placed facades was magic. I love Everly and dream of her confidence! And her men were so perfectly different, so perfectly aligned to be missing pieces for her and each other (Even if she swore off love and commitment). Such a sweet RH!

Being a confident curvy woman myself it makes me so happy to read this story. Not only is Everly a plus size girl with confidence but you can see the struggles she has gone through to get there!

Heartfelt
Such a cute story and so heartfelt. It makes a nice change to have a curvy girl. Not that there is anything wrong with lithe girls, but being curvy myself, I resonate more with them. I'm glad she finally learnt to trust herself and allow the men to fully enter her heart.

I loved this story! Everly is so great in her self-confidence and self-worth. I loved seeing her, Cruz, Jace, and Keiran all come together in their different ways to become a found family. Humorous and low angst but spicy. So, so good!
