How can two people who are all wrong for each other be so right?

Corinne McCain has always had a thing for bad boys. The problem is, most of them are well, bad. Nick is different. Sure, he’s dark, mysterious, and totally rocking the bad boy vibe, but beneath his rebellious exterior lies a heart of gold.

She knows, because she’s been paying attention. Unlike him, who barely seems to know she exists.

Until she’s unwittingly drawn into a drug trafficking operation targeting teens at the Zone, that is.

Nick Milligan is no choir boy. Despite his efforts to leave his past behind, there are some things that can never be forgotten, forgiven, or undone. He’s made his peace with it. Mostly.

Deep down, he longs for a woman with a good heart and a wild soul. One who’ll accept him and his dark past and wants to share his future. But in his jaded soul, he knows there is no such woman for him.

In the course of identifying and eliminating the newest threat against his kids, however, he discovers he’s been wrong about a lot of things—including the fact that what he’s been looking for has been right in front of him all along.

Now, he can only hope he’s not too late …

👀 Wanna sneak peek?

Nick

“Hey. Need a ride?”

Nick slowed his stride and turned toward the melodic, feminine voice. The small SUV was parked against the curb, the passenger window down, the driver leaning over the console to peer at him from within.

Corinne McCain. What was she doing here? Had she seen him come out of the station? Or worse, get hauled away?

“No thanks. I’m good.” He started walking again. He wasn’t in the mood for company or good deeds, especially not from her.

A vehicle door opened and closed behind him. Within seconds, he sensed her closing in. He was always aware of his surroundings, but he was particularly sensitive to her presence. That was one reason he tried to avoid her whenever possible. Extended family gatherings were brutal—and not just because she looked at him like he was some kind of thousand-piece jigsaw she wanted to put together.

Too many pieces missing for that.

A whiff of that subtle, clean fragrance hit his nose, the one he associated solely with her. It smelled like sun-dried laundry and night-blooming jasmine. Cool sheets and hot skin and—

“How about I give you one anyway?” she said, falling into step beside him.

He kept his head down. “My place isn’t far.”

“Yeah, but you’re not going to your place, are you?”

He stopped so suddenly that she took a step past him and had to double back, placing herself directly in front of him. This close, he could see the light smattering of freckles over her slightly upturned button nose and the tiniest hints of lines at the corners of her pretty blue eyes. Rather than detract from her beauty, they added to it.

It pissed him off.

He stared down at her and curled one corner of his mouth up in a smirk. “Oh? Know where I’m going, do you?”

Big blue eyes peered up at him, the color of a perfect summer sky. A blush was barely visible in the streetlight, turning her peaches-and-cream skin into a lovely rose gold. When he’d first met Corinne all those years ago, he’d thought she was attractive. As a mature woman, she was stunning.

“No, but I can guess,” she said. “You’re going back to the fairgrounds to get your bike, right?”

He narrowed his eyes. Beautiful and intelligent and feisty as she was, he didn’t like people knowing his business. “Are you stalking me or something?”

The blush deepened, but he had to give her credit. She stood her ground even if she did shift her weight from one foot to the other. “Kind of, but not in a creepy way. I saw what happened earlier, and I thought you could use a ride.”

She’d seen him get arrested, and what? Sat, parked across the street from the police station for hours, waiting for him to emerge, just so she could offer him a ride? Nobody did that, not without a damn good reason. He had too much on his mind to try to figure out possible ulterior motives.

“Thanks, but I don’t.”

She huffed. It was cute. He added it to his list of things that irritated him.

“Don’t be obstinate,” she said. “Just get in the [effing] car, okay?”

Hearing the expletive simultaneously made him smile and turned him on. He had a thing for foul words spoken from sweet lips. Made him wonder what other dirty things her mouth could do.

Nope, not going there.

“Why?” he asked, forcing his ill-advised interest into something he was more comfortable with—namely, suspicion. In his experience, people were rarely altruistic for altruism’s sake.

She rolled her eyes and exhaled. Once again, his mind went places it shouldn’t, conjuring images of putting her over his knee, pulling down her pants, and smacking her shapely dancer’s @$$. He wondered what she would do if he did. Had fantasized about it often in fact. In his private mental viewing room, she liked it a little rough and dirty.

Jesus.

“Why not?” she countered, exasperation lacing her tone.

When he said nothing, she raised her hands. “Fine. Be that way. Walk five miles. See if I care. Forgive me for trying to do something nice.”

She stalked back to her car. Her hips swayed from side to side, looking phenomenal in those faded blue jeans, drawing his eye and pulling him along for the ride. Before he realized what he was doing, he was standing next to her vehicle. She glanced at him with a raised brow.

He shouldn’t. He really shouldn’t. He should turn around, walk away, and let her think he was an ungrateful ass. Most people did—if they bothered to think of him at all. But, damn, he was tired. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d gotten a decent night’s sleep.

“I’m sorry,” he said, stuffing his hands into his jeans. “If the offer’s still open, a ride would be great, thanks.”

Her face softened, and she nodded. No smart-ass comeback. No taunt. No smirk as she tossed a high-end women’s sports bag and a box of tissues from the passenger seat into the back and made room for him.

He opened the door and folded his body in, glad that the seat was already pushed back so his knees weren’t up around his chest. For a moment, he wondered what long-legged [effer] had sat in the seat before him. As far as he knew, she wasn’t seeing anyone. There was that guy with the Audi about a year ago, but she’d kicked him to the curb pretty quick. Good thing too. The guy was one of the suits at Dumas Industries. A real player in his white-collar, hedge-fund world.

Not that Nick had been creeping on her or anything, but garages were like bars. Guys talked, and he’d learned the value of listening a long time ago.

Maybe there was someone new he hadn’t heard about yet. Her sister was forever trying to fix her up with one tool or another.

Nick pushed back the wave of something dark and jagged that accompanied the thought. Who Corinne McCain went out with, [effed], or gave a ride to was of no concern to him.

3.5 ⭐️’s - Felt a bit let down by this one. It seemed like there was so much potential for some intense sexy times between the MC’s, but it kind of fell flat with only one night together. With it being the end of the series, I expected more of a catch up with all the Callaghans.

I absolutely loved going back to Pine Ridge and catching up with the Callaghans. Always wondered what happened to Nick, so excited to read his story, another bad boy who doesn’t know his worth… Love the storyline, the drama, the HEA!! Abbie Zanders did it again!!!

This is a perfect wrap up to the Callaghan brothers. Nick and Corrine have been on the fringe of the family, yet they have had a silent flirtation for a while. Nick feels unworthy, but when Corrine goes missing, he is the first to go looking. A true croie story! I finished this one in a few hours.

What an absolutely wonderful read. Corinne and Nick’s story is a real page turner. These two have danced around each other for years, it takes a lot of circumstances and a bit of luck to finally get them together. How they sort everything out is a book well worth the time to read. We also get to keep in touch with some of the other Callaghan’s as they pop in and out of this story.

This is book 12 in the Callaghan Brothers series and while it absolutely can be read as a standalone, I would recommend at the bare minimum to read Seeking Vengeance which is where we first meet Nick and his sister.

I was so excited about a new book in the Callaghan series that I almost didn't care who it was about. But then when I found out it was Nick's story? I was beyond excited!! I had always hoped he would get a story. Nick is perceived as this bad guy who never outgrew his youth, well according to some. Not to those who truly know him. But those other opinions have left a mark on him. Corinne has always been the good girl with bad girl tendencies. But she has hit a rut and let her life become something she isn't happy with. Without a clue on how to actually change anything. She just knows that she needs a change. For the most part, I liked these two. I think they completed the missing things in each other, and are exactly what the other needs. My only issue, and I feel like it was a me issue, was that Nick seemed to have so many issues with how he thinks of himself. He is self aware about a lot of things, and see's his sister is happy with people from the "right" side of the tracks. But doesn't believe he deserves the same thing. And I thought that was slightly strange. That was my only issue. I really enjoyed the rest of the story. I liked the suspense portion, although I would have loved seeing them all get what was coming to them a little more. But on a whole, definitely a great installment in the Callaghan series!

In the course of identifying and eliminating the newest threat against his kids, however, he discovers he’s been wrong about a lot of things—including the fact that what he’s been looking for has been right in front of him all along.

Now, he can only hope he’s not too late

I am a huge fan of Abbie Zanders’ books and was very excited to read a new book in the wonderful Callaghan Brothers series titled ‘All Wrong’. I have enjoyed all the books in this series and while they can all be read as standalone books there is a backstory to the characters, also many of the characters from other books in the series as well as the Connelly Cousins have roles. This book tells Nick Milligan and Corinne McCain’s story, and they are both related by marriage to the Callaghan clan. Corinne is going through some tough times and the hits just seem to keep coming. Nick comes from a very troubled background but has turned his life around and is helping kids who’s circumstances he knows all too well. There are those who don’t believe that Nick has really changed and Nick himself struggles to see himself as more than his past.
Both characters are in their thirties, but neither has found a partner in life. They both see the examples around them of those who have found their croies or soulmates but that hasn’t happened for them and neither are sure it ever will. They have long been attracted to each other and flirted a bit at family gatherings, but nothing has really happened. With new dangers in town and upheaval in their lives, they give in to their attraction, but for one night only. However, when Corinne’s life is in danger, Nick senses something is wrong and rallies the Callaghan’s to help her. Once the danger is past, Nick believes that Corinne is better off without him and stays away. Corinne is strong woman who refuses to let him hide. These two are really perfect for each other.
The problems between the two are wrapped up quickly in the last chapter and the epilogue provides a beautiful picture of their future. I got this book as ARC in exchange for an honest review. I strongly recommend this book or really anything by this author and am already looking forward to her next book.

Who doesn’t love a Callaghan story
This is no different…
Nick and Corrine two individuals whom believe that love and happiness is not for them… the strange thing is they have connection and feelings for each other!
They share family as their siblings have married into the Callaghan family.
They are often together at family gatherings but feel like they are out on the fringes which couldn’t be further from the truth!
The suspense and drama starts from the first pages and continues throughout the book. Nick a man who has a history of living hard and knows what he’s like to fight to have anything good. He feels like he is not worthy enough for Corrine but his heart is so pure and his loyalty to those he loves and cares about is seen in every single action he does!
Corrine is a woman who yearns for what her sister has but thinks it won’t happen. A online date leads unknowingly to danger and starts a chain of events that has Nick and Corrine in each in other’s path.
Within the help of family and friends they learn what the true meaning of love, friendship and family is. They each need to delve deeper into their own feelings and let go.
The form a deep connection though all the drama revealing what they truly mean to each other!
The epilogue had me smiling big ..the emotions and feelings that came from this…
Loved this book so much, it was coming home to old friends!

I was so happy to get back to Pine Ridge and reconnect with the Callaghans and the Connellys. It's been too long. Abbie Zanders is a masterful story teller and puts a fine point on the Callaghan Brothers series with All Wrong.

Nick Milligan and Corinne McCain are the last ones standing (so to speak) unattached members of the extended Callaghan/Connelly clan. They have yet to find their elusive croie. If they'd both take the time to pull their heads out, they'd realize their fates were right under their noses. Nick is the quintessential anti-hero. His past won't allow him to feel that he deserves love and happiness yet he works tirelessly to ensure that the youngsters he feels protective of keep on the straight and narrow as much as possible. Corinne wants what her sister and friends have but so far that spark has eluded her. Worse yet, her matchmaking, overly concerned, buttinsky sister is determined to find Corinne's significant other for her. As a result, Corinne shies away from family stuff more often than not. Despite several encounters where both Nick and Corinne let down their guards, one of them ever so spicy, it always ends in the same way. One of them walks away. Being put in danger finally gives these two the push they need but it's a slow process getting to the finsh line and thei HEA.

In this stand alone in the series, we are taken back to Pine Ridge, where the Callaghans reside, and not far, their cousins, the Connellys .
This latest addition, gives the reader the story of two individuals related to them by the marriage of their siblings. Leaving them at times feeling like outsiders.
Corrine McCain and the mysterious bad boy Nick Mulligan have been eyeing each other from afar for the last 10 years. With his past, Nick doesn’t feel worthy of love, especially by the likes of Corinne and though Corinne is attracted to him, he seems out of reach.
All changes, or does it, when she gives him a ride from the police station.
When unintentionally Corinne gets in the crossroads of a drug trafficking operation in town, her life is in danger.
Will Nick and the Callaghans be able to rescue her before it’s too late? If so, will they realize they are each others “croie”/heart and deserve a chance for a future?
The story was an emotional rollercoaster , filled with dangerous men, whodunit, and wonderful characters.
A perfect addition and conclusion to this much loved series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

From bad-boy to dangerous man

Nick is most dangerous to Corrine's heart, but he does have a dark and intimidating aura that keeps others away. However, what keeps others away only pulls Corrine closer, she sees past the gruff exterior to the soft heart underneath that will do anything for the kids at The Zone. Kids that Nick can relate to far too easily, kids that just need someone, anyone to be in their corner.
It's not that Nick doesn't believe in love and croie's, it's that he doesn't believe in love for him, he doesn't believe he is worthy or deserving of love, nor does he think he is capable of giving it.....even for Corinne.
Their journey may be long, heart wrenching and very bumpy, but this just makes them finally finding happiness so much sweeter. And the happiness they find, the support they offer really is the most beautiful, a safe place for them, but also for those who need it most and have no-one else.
It's been a long wait for this book, but it is worth it and it is lovely to finally see Nick and Corrine open their eyes (and their hearts) to find each other. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Corinne and Nick are loosely related by marriage. After all these years they still feel like outsiders in the Callaghan family. For years they’ve been sneaking glances at each other Sat the family get-together. Nick is a reformed bad boy but everything Corinne wants in a man. She’s a respectable good girl and he’s tried to keep her in a hands off compartment. Keeping her at arms length is no longer an option when she becomes entangled in his quest to find whose dealing drugs to the local kids. His heart says being with Corinne feels right but his brain hasn’t caught up. When his quest becomes more dangerous, can he save Corinne whilst keeping his true feelings for her at bay?
Not only is Nick protective and stubborn, his past has shaped who he is making it a real fight to do the right thing when it comes to Corinne. As always with the Callaghans involved there’s plenty of suspense, drama and unwavering support. At the end of the day this is also a good opposites attract fight for love story.

The last of the original Callaghan’s series however the main characters are not actually Callaghans but are related to them. This is Nick and Corinne’s story. Nick after years of leaving Pine Ridge has returned and working at Sean’s garage as he did when we first met him. Sean is married to Nick’s sister. Corinne is a local girl who has apparently always wondered what it would be like to have the bad boy Nick. With both being in Pine Ridge they seem to be constantly at odds with each other. Corinne works at the local bank and nothing seems to be going right for her at work, home or with her love life. A minor character is the new teacher who we don’t know if he’s a good or bad guy till the end. However there’s a new drug being spread in Pine Ridge and Corinne and Nick are concerned for the kids that come to the teen center. Abbie will have you guessing on who is doing all the manipulation and causing the trouble.

Nick Milligan is Nicki’s twin brother.
Nicki Milligan is Nick’s twin sister.
Corinne McCain is the youngest McCain sibling and a teacher.

Corinne and Nick know each other through family connections.
Corinne has always been a little on the wild side ( in her younger days).
She has had a crush on Nick along time. There is definite chemistry between them.
Nick has had a rough life and gotten into trouble ( and the reputation stuck with him). He felt he would not be able to have a future and settle down with the right person.
Nick, Nicki, Corinne help at The Time Zone, which is a center for teens to have a safe place to do sports, hobbies and activities). Some bad group is targeting teens with bad stuff.

Can Nick, Nicki and Corinne resolve the case? Can Nick and Corinne have a Happily Ever After?

This book has suspense, danger, intrigue some twists and turns and a chance at love.

Great Job Abbie Zanders !!!! Abbie you never disappoint !

I love Nick and Corrine. Wasn't sure they were going to end up together for a while.

Nick doesn't believe in a croie but Corrine is looking for the one she is meant to be with. The are family but not related. His twin sister and her older sister are both married to Callahan men. Nick had a rough childhood and was in trouble a lot. He was abused and used by people that should have been tap by care of him. Corrine was brought up by loving parents. Now she is surrounded by couples with head over heels in love and she wants that. She won't t settle for less. Her and Nick have been doing this avoidance dance for a long time but finally give in to their attraction for one night. Then Nick ghosts her. What happens when she helps Nikki and Ian get info from her job. Why is she kidnapped and by who? Will Nick and the Campaign's find her before anything happens? Why does she buy the big house and acreage?

Corrine McCain needs change parts of her life. Nick Milligan even though he happy in his life, one thing missing is Corrine. Both are attracted to each other, he does not feel he is worthy of her.
Corinne and Nick find themselves at a Callaghan gathering. Both have sisters who are married Callaghan men. Corrine’s life feels like its spinning out of control her job, home and never finding Mr Right. Nick never thinks he is good enough for anyone so keeps things to one night stands and gives up all his time to the kids at the Zone.
When a drug show up on around town, with kids dealing and getting hurt. Corrine and Nick find themselves. With everything going on the two of them not only fight for the children but for a relationship that should have start a long time ago. Corrine finds herself starting the large foster home for children in need.

Have been waiting for this book. Nick is a reformed bad boy who has turned into a man worthy of knowing and loving but fails to recognize this in himself. Corinne has a family who is large, loud and wants her to settle down. She is getting frustrated with challenges and changes in her day to day life and work. Her job is not fulfilling and she and Nick are still circling each other and neither can seem to go to the next step. When danger comes to their town and threatens the youth, businesses and themselves can they work together to stop disaster from occurring? Will they get their happen ever after or will they go their separate ways. This story has it all friendship to love, small town charm, suspense, intrigue, extended family and a story that only Abbie Zanders could write! 5+ stars.

Outsider is the perfect word for to define Nick and Corinne way of life, interesting is both because diferent reason!
What i love must in Nick is bcs he don't live inside one "Trauma land" he just live!,his personality is build by his experience as simply as that.
For other side Corinne is also have thsi sense of tô be one Outsider and the book show her own path discovering herself.

All Wrong is All Right!

It seemed like it we hadn't had a catch-up with the Callaghans in a while! I enjoyed getting to know Nick and Corinne. It was a slow burn; they were always around each other, but they both stayed in their lanes. Corinne was constantly being set up by Lacy, and Nick thought he wasn't good enough. I loved the other part of the storyline, which absolutely kept me on my toes. After reading this one, it reminded me of all the things that I love about this series, and I will definitely be doing a reread! This was a great book. Nick was a good character, maybe a little slow on figuring out what he wanted, but he was sexy and sweet. I loved the community center for the teens and the storyline revolving around that. I look forward to finding out if more Callaghans or Connellys come out of the woodwork to keep this amazing series going. Enjoy!

I've been waiting patiently for the next installation of The Callaghan Brothers series, and it's here! Once I started to read Nick and Corinne's story, it was really hard to put down. It was so good!!! We've known these characters for awhile now, and it was wonderful to be back in Pine Ridge.

Nick and Corinne have crossed paths for almost two decades. They have both thought their attraction towards each other was all wrong. Fate had other plans. Can they get past their respective insecurities, and find their own HEA??? The only way you'll find out is to pick up a copy of All Wrong for yourself. I guarantee you that you'll throughly enjoy this book. I certainly did. It was one of the best boots I've read in a long time. Thank you, Abbie Zanders for yet another exceptional story!!!

Corinne and Nick once again find themselves at another Callaghan gathering. Both are single and siblings to sisters who married Callaghan men. Corrine’s sister Lacy is forever trying to set her up with available men she works and Nick’s sister just knows better then to even try. Both are attracted to each other but neither have taken it any further. Corrine’s life feels like its spinning out of control her job, home and never finding Mr Right. Nick never thinks he is good enough for anyone so keeps things to one night stands and gives up all his time to the kids at the Zone. Both could use a little help so they don’t miss whats right in front of them before its too late. With drugs showing up on around town, kids dealing it and getting hurt time is running out.

I love visiting Pine Ridge! Catching up with the Callaghans is always a joy, even though my favorite is MIA. Abbie Zanders always writes an absorbing story with heartfelt moments, action, drama, and those moments when you really want to kick the H/h in the butt to make them realize what they are missing/passing up. Nick and Corinne both feel like outsiders in the Callaghan clan, as they are both single and not directly related to any Callaghan. Both have hearts of gold when it comes to the kids at the Zone. As they fight their attraction towards each other, a new threat arrives in Pine Ridge that draws our heroes to band together to protect the kids. I loved this book and the chance to see Nix's twin discover his croie.

Great ending to a series!

As a huge Abbie Zanders fan I’m always happy to visit Pine Ridge & the Callaghan boys. This book is between Nikki’s brother and Lacie’s sister & the last time we saw either of them Corrine was in college & Nic was a twenty something mechanic in his brother-in-laws shop. It’s now years later & with the exception of seeing each other at family gatherings they really don’t have much to do with each other. Years of stolen glances from both sides! This book is all about a slow burn and it’s oh so good! If you’ve read the Callaghan Brothers series then this is a definite don’t miss and if you haven’t- then what in the h*ll are you waiting for? Go! Get lost in all things Pine Ridge! You won’t be disappointed. Abbie, you hit another one out of the park!

All wrong is the last book in the original Callaghan series. It was fabulous. What happens when two opposites attract? Sparks fly, and you get a very entertaining story. Nick is a bad boy, but he has a heart of gold. Corienn is a good girl, but her life feels unsettled. Their story is very entertaining, and the suspense builds up nicely. I couldn’t put it down. It was great to revisit with all if the Callaghans. Nick and Corienn are the last two single people in their group, and they feel like they don’t belong. They have been drawn to each other for a long time. Will it work out? You can always count on Abbie Zanders for a great book with a happily ever after. I can’t wait to read about the next generation of Callaghans!

This final Callaghan Brothers story involved two main characters who each have a sibling married to a Callaghan. Corinne and Nick have been on the outskirts at Callaghan gatherings and don't want to admit that they are attracted to each other. It was fun watching them try to be sneaky about paying attention to the other while at the same time everyone around them observed their attraction.

There was a lot happening in this story - from the potential relationship between Nick and Corinne, to her unsatisfying job, and a new drug dealer in town. Based on the clues, you are kept guessing as to who the new drug dealer is and once the action starts, the Callaghans are there to help out. Loved this story.

Loved Corinne and Nick's story.
Bringing in the rest of the Callaghan Brothers into the storyline just adds more and more love to these two.
The amount of action that takes place is just enough for this light love story. When Corinne goes missing and only Nick feels that she is in trouble but can't seem to get anyone else to see it we almost think that she is lost forever and we feel each of their pains.
They each are in their own little worlds until finally they crash and when they do what an explosion! Then they start to hide again until they can't because Corinne will give it one more try. He's all wrong until she makes it RIGHT!
Could have read about these two all night long.
So glad they finally realized their HEA.

Bad boy on the surface but golden at heart is a favourite trope of mine and this book certainly didn't disappoint! I loved Nick and Corinne as characters in previous Callaghan brothers’ books and it was great to see them as a couple. Not a coupling I expected but it was so right!

Abbie Zanders wrote their story with heart and it was great to see them both find their Croie in each other.

There was self-doubt, passion and connection between the two and could Corinne be dealt any more stresses? They just kept piling up! Boy that woman was strong in the face of adversity, and Nick stood up to the plate, even if it took a bit longer than it could!

Thank you Abbie for a wonderful visit to the Callaghan brothers this book was a real Gem!

All Wrong

Wow! What a way to end this series! This story is about Corrine and Nick. These two have been circling each other for a while but Corrine was the first to fall but Nick was a tough one to crack. His past had a lot to do with that. It seems that it took Corrine getting kidnapped to finally open his eyes and heart to see that Corrine was for him. As for Brett, it was a little shocking to find out who he really was. Anyway, glad Corrine finally got Nick to see things her way. She finally figured out what she wanted to do with her life and wanting Nick to see her dreams come through. What a way to end this story and series. FANTASTIC job Abbie! I would recommend this book and series.

Finally! Nick and Corinne have been dancing around each other for years. They are always on the outside looking in, their siblings have happily ever after's, but not them. They are right in front of each other, but never commit, or are afraid to. Circumstances change, and even then, one of them is really stubborn. You could feel the evil lurking in the background, but it doesn't come out to play until the end, and it's tenacity that wins out for our main character. The Callaghan's were my first foray into Ms. Zanders and I've even read them more than once, this series is that good! Dreams do come true.
