This is not like the past books in this series the author throws a twist in the plot with a twister touching down leaving the lives on the ranch in danger. The house is gone, people and animals missing. The author gives such detail you feel you are seeing it right before your eyes. My ears were locked to this audio as I held my breath fearing the worse. These characters throughout this series have become my family. Losing one of them would be like losing one of my own. At times my heart beat fast as I listened to their pain of the unknown. In book 4 you will find Anders and Jasmine trying to hang on to their love that is new. They have to make some major choices that could tear them apart or could leave the family torn in two. Emma finds herself in a mess when her past come haunting her. Leaving Joseph hot on her trail hoping for the best as they go in it could be life or death.
This narrator is one very talented person giving a compelling listen with such passion you can feel through her voice. She really brings these audio to life giving you a highly entertaining read. She puts such emotion into the audio you can feel the pain, sorrow, sadness, joy, happiness through her tones. Her performance is outstanding as she pulls you in taking you away through the excitement and danger that comes. I love her many different voices from her sexy strong males to her sassy strong women. She pulls deep inside herself giving you a compelling listen that will leave you chuckling and at times laughing. She knows how to hit the correct tones really keeping the listener invested as they wait for the next shoe to drop. There are not any background noises and no breaks were taken that I could tell. You can picture the story unfold through her voice and her tones. You have no trouble knowing who is talking or what they are feeling. What this narrator brings to the table is a very clean, crisp, clear audio you get lost in. I just love to be taken away by this very talented narrator. I can hardly wait for the next listen.
This was very well written with a few different stories to keep the interesting. You have so much danger and excitement from the twister and people missing as well as a kidnapping and then of course the romance of Anders and Jasmine leaving Jasmine feeling lost and alone with her background not everyone is happy with her being Hispanic. I thought the author did an outstanding job making the reader understand how hurtful people can be as well as the dangers from traveling alone. I really had trouble pulling this audio down from the author’s wonderful writing style to the narrator’s voice this was a great story. I can hardly wait to listen to the next book in this series.

I love how each story intertwine so you catch up on the lives of each sibling. Anderson is the only Carson that went to college. when the tornado struck, he went home to support his family.
Emma past Catch up with her and she was kidnapped but Crazy Mac didn't know what was about to hit him. If you mess with the Carson family you will bite off more than you can chew as you’ll have the whole family to deal with.
Joseph and his brother Anderson was determined to do whatever it takes to find Emma, especially since Anderson's girlfriend Jasmine got caught up dangerous situation. Will they save them? You have to read to find out

It was good to catch up on all the Carson family doings. Sometime has passed since 'Counting On Love'. I am uncertain how much as the story is indistinct. A tornado rips through the ranch leaving massive destruction in its wake. With many people missing and the need to rebuild this story takes on a life of its its own.
Valerie Gilbert again brilliantly brought this story to life.

This book was heart wrenching. Well, at least at the beginning. I have been waiting on this story for awhile. Amelia Rose did not disappoint with this brothers' story. It was the perfect story for him.

I listened to the audiobook. Anders and Jasmine are a great YA couple. The bookworm actually got a girl! Jasmine's insecure when she meets his family. A derogatory remark made by one of the Carson Hill folks hit home for her in the worst way. But she perseveres as she helps the ranch-folk clean up the best they can after a devastating storm. That should have been when they knew they were meant to be together.
The whole family is included as we are taken from the hurricane touching down to a revenge kidnapping. Casey and Carey have babies, Gracie's almist ready to leave home and the rest of the family are doing fine. The strength found in being there for each other and being able to stand on one's own two feet is brought forth throughout the tale. I would have cried a lot but the Audible.com version kept skipping. Heartwarmingly good story from what I was able to hear.

In this 4th book we are back at Carson Hill Ranch. Anders returns to the ranch from college following a horrific tornado outbreak that hits it. His Social Worker girlfriend comes with him. In the meantime Joseph's wife goes missing.
This series keeps getting better and better! Amelia Rose has given each book a unique plot with familiar characters.
The narration was well done.The characters were well portrayed. Valerie Gilbert gives an awesome performance.

Book number 4, this one was a refreshing change. While still romantic, it brought together the entire family during a major crisis. As unpredictable life can be, a tornado rips through the Carson ranch unexpectedly. Some of the family members and ranch hands are home, some are out working, or as in the case of Anders, he was at school and Emma, on her way to visit a friend. Anders returns quickly, bringing his girlfriend Jasmine. She is Hispanic and feels out of place and unwanted at the ranch. There will be some hurdles the two go through, and a major life change that will surprise you. Emma on the other hand finds herself in a very dangerous situation, only Anders and Joseph are on their way to help. I loved this book for it's sense of family pulling together, very strong unity and willingness to see that each Carson has his own strengths.
Valerie Gilbert again does a wonderful job! Love this series.

Emma and Joseph are "Nearly Weds".
Emma was on her way to visit a friend when a Tornado hits.
The storm rips just about everything away.. and for people who have suffered from natural disasters, I'm sure they can relate.
The most important aspect of these storms is that family and friends survive, material things can be replaced at a later date.
This story was full of "twists and turns", literally, and I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series.
Valerie Gilbert did well with the narration.

in this installment we follow Anders and Jasmine on their return trip to the farm after a national disaster. Anders was not quite sure of what to expect bringing Jasmine back with him, however we quickly find out it is not an issue. this book has more ups and downs than the others do simply because of this National disaster. I truly enjoyed this book and love this series since each book Builds on the previous characters and more than formally introduce us to the other characters. I think the narrator did a fantastic job with this series. Each character has their own unique voice and Tempo which truly brings the story to life. I cannot wait to listen to the next book in the series.

This is book 4 of the Carson Hill Ranch Series and it was a great continuation of the series! There is action, heartfelt moments and great follow up to the previous books in the series. I laughed, cried and hated when it was over. Can not wait to see what happens next on the Carson Ranch. I recommend starting with book 1. This can be read as a stand alone book, but I wouldn't recommend it...I recommend logging on to Amazon right now and one clicking this whole series! You will not be disappointed!

Another brother finds his true love. This is the only brother who does not ride and work the ranch - his life was different than his brothers' due to allergies that kept him indoors. Luckily, Anders loved the bookwork and accounting that goes into running such a huge enterprise. He is the only son to go off to college - where, of course, he meets the love of his life.
This story pans out a little different than for the other brothers...but it is still great.

Story line didn't flow as smooth from Book 3 - 4 as there are a few years In between. Not only was there another wedding & engagement prior to this story line but 2 babies conceived. Though for all the hanky panky I would have figured there should have been more.

Anders has a girlfriend ... Jasmine is the daughter of immigrants and has had to deal with a lot of racial slurs in her life but when she hears them on the ranch that Anders grew up on and loves, it pushes the relationship. Emma has a past that comes back to haunt her and Joseph is hell bent on getting her back.

Love the Carson family

Boy, was this a bit over the top...and I didn't care for Jasmine very much. She was a bit selfish.
