Forever Good in His Arms

Rate this book

When you’re in love, Valentine’s Day is one of the best days of the flowers, chocolate, and bae-cations. But for these four friends, the week leading up to February 14th is nothing short of a mess.

Rynn Seymour is no longer a fan of Valentine’s Day since the passing of her father. She’s no fan of love either after many failed relationships. That doesn’t stop Xander McCall from trying to change her mind about it all. Keen on Rynn, Xander is determined to show her that there could still be happiness in love and that he’s the man for her.

First came love, then the degrees and next Ariyan Daniels was blessed with the job of her dreams. Now she’s clocked in so much that she can’t tell where her day ends and begins. For her husband though, that’s a problem. Emerson promised her the world and in return, she promised to bear his seed. After making good on his promises, he’s waiting for her to make good on hers, but Ari has other plans. Will those plans cost her, her marriage?

For Cienna Hart, the hot romance she once shared with her baby’s father, Hakeem, has long since fizzled out, and now her heart belongs to someone else. Stuck between the father of her child and a fantasy she can’t shake; she has to decide quickly on what she wants or risk tearing her family apart.

Layton Houston, the little sister of Ariyan and baby of the bunch, can’t seem to find peace in her home. After eight years, and pushing out a beautiful baby boy for him, she’s ready for her man to leave the streets and become a better man for his family. Rory isn’t ready to settle down yet, and Layton is over waiting for him to get right.

For these beautiful twenty-somethings, when new relationships arise and old ones are tested, the statement ‘forever good in his arms’ becomes a question. Will Cupid strike hearts or will he end up striking out?

I normally don't like books with more than 4 POV but honestly this was perfect with everyone having a moment! What "Mac" did to ol girl was soooo typical. I'm glad that Layton was not playing around and spared herself. I was hoping that Rynn would give Xan a chance. Ari and Em's situation was cute too. Like of course there was drama that was like DANG but most stories are like people finding new love. I like that they are married and we got to see a part of their life behind closed door. This was so good. I would like to see more of Layton and her boys and more of Hakeem and Cici after reading Rynn's book. Awesome job ladies!

Loved Layton and Rynn for sure and want to see more of them in the future, but I really would like to see some more of Layton and Gray and Cienna and Hakeem like before they got to where they are now...like when they were in love because it just felt real incomplete with them. Don't get me wrong, this was such a good book, but you know how you get all invested in characters and you're just like... there has to be more to them. Anyway I like how all the little clues came out with the Mac stuff from start to finish. I was glued to this book. I recommend this if you're looking for something drama-filled.

This was a crazy book, everyone had something going on but nothing tops Cienna's secret lover and what she did to her child's father. I felt like Ariyan was a little selfish in the beginning, she had a good man and was allowing her career to take over. I'm glad Layton stood her ground with her trifling baby daddy. Rynn finally found a good man who loves the heck out of her.

YAY LAYTON!!!!

I was rooting for my girl Layton, she deserved so much better! I loved the dynamic of all the couples and how the pieces that fell apart soon came together. Can’t wait to read more from the characters! 🤍

whew..

3.5 ⭐️ If miscommunication was a person it would be every single character in this book! I was delighted that Ariyan caught some sense and that Rynn opened herself up to love again.
