Katsuya Terada is one of Japan’s most sought-after illustrators who is known as the character designer for the animated film, Blood: The Last Vampire. He has done work for Iron Man and Hellboy as well.
This book is a catalogue from his exhibition (held at Kyoto International Manga Museum, Japan / March 16 - June 30, 2013) celebrating his works in the recent decade.
The book contains most of the works featured in the exhibition such as mangas, illustrations, as well as preliminary sketches, production drawings, that are around 600 pieces.
It will be an ultimate book for Terada’s fans and also a great reference book for illustrators, manga artists.

Although I'm not a fan of the obscenity, I love that his style has incredible detail. I personally like especially his drawings of dragons and animals.

If you like a more mature anime style with an organic feel and lots of detail, I recommend checking it out.

Nice collection of sketches and original work out of an exhibition. Not recommended for poeple who despise or avoid erotic art. The book is in japanese, but the dustjacket has an interview in english.

I love this artbook dearly. My only criticism is that almost all depictions of women are incredibly sexualized, objectified and fetishized. But his art itself is of course beyond stunning.
