Ugh this is a DNF for me. This book, and I'm using the term loosely, read more like an amateur kink romance, dabble alittle into bdsm and call it a story. Well it's not! You are just thrown into these two robotic type characters who you've not been given a chance to connect with, who immediately jump into punishments and hard spankings. If the author thought this was hot it's not. Epic fail. I felt sick and dirty reading this. At no point did I submerge myself into this story or the characters. At no point did I think damn that's hot or what a great story, because it was neither. DNF, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Taming Megan is a full time job. This domestic discipline story requires more tanning of the hide than taming. Megan is a younger wife. She's in her mid-twenties and running a cupcake business backed by her rich husband. Her husband, Jake, is in his thirties, old and wiser.
A fan of domestic discipline (DD), it's interesting to see how authors write the females in the story. Ms. Knight does a good job of showing exactly why Megan benefits from a domestic discipline relationship. Some of the decisions Megan makes are mind boggling. It's apparent she needs a bit more maturity and life experience. Jake is the steady husband who can bring logic and foresight to Megan's short sighted plans.
From a DD perspective, this story is rather light. The punishments Jake metes out to Megan are lighter than I would have given her. The anal play is always a pleasure to read. It seems to be a popular punishment yet also a reward in a DD relationship. An avid fan of anal, the scenes were sweet and gentle.
Overall, this is a short and sweet story about newlyweds going through an adjustment. Megan learns what her husband means by a traditional marriage. Jake determines he needs to help Megan understand the consequences of her actions better. Ms. Knight pens a light and fun read for those looking to explore an DD relationship. It's a smooth read with plausible conflicts and good resolutions. Recommended for romance readers looking to learn more about domestic discipline.

I'm usually not too keen on spankings, but...
I really enjoyed the romance story between this couple! The love was strong, beautifully written and had a strong part of their relationship. I loved how important it was to him to show her his feelings for her first. I also adored his desire to cherish her and how he put her first in their lives despite any desire to get ahead. This author certainly knows what a true love story is! I highly recommend reading this book!

Natasha Knight did it again! Another great story with fantastic characters that are very easy to love and get to know.
Jake Roark and his wife Megan are so very much in love and they have a dominate and submissive relationship and it works well for them. They
have only been married for 3 months but have known each other just a little over a year. They are still learning things about each other and Jake learns more about Megan's past and not in a way that someone should learn about their spouse.
Megan is ten years younger than Jake and she needs someone to steer her in the right direction because Megan has made some very bad decisions in her life and Jake is trying to get her to do better and he wants her to realize that he is there to help her because he loves her. If Megan breaks a rule, or keeps things from Jake that is when she will get disciplined by spanking but it can be with his hand or whatever he see's fit to use.
Jake is such a sweet , caring, patient man. With certain decisions Megan makes, Jake helps Megan with taking responsibility for those decisions. I love Jake. He is such a sweet and loveable guy who wants the very best for Megan. He allows her to make mistakes but is waiting in the shadows to help her when he is needed. He ends up saving her when trying to keep things from Jake gets out of hand.
Loving couple and great sex scenes that got my blood boiling. I could feel the heat, and the passion between these two. I was wishing I was Megan being spanked by Jake because it was so hot and turned into great sex not to mention very hot!.

I love Natasha Knight! She has such a way of bring the characters to life, and making you feel like you are right there in the middle of it all, whether it’s paranormal, action, science fiction, or in this case, contemporary. This woman can write!
This story is a DD (domestic discipline) story- a type I have not yet seen from her. A sequel to Taming Emma that can be read easily as a standalone.
And to be perfectly honest, I think it is my new favorite from her. I loved it!
This was my kind of DD story!
I loved both main characters- which is sometimes very hard for me to find, in contemporary DD. The male MC has to be done just right so as not to seem like an overbearing jerk; and the female has to be done with just the right amount of sauciness to make her deserving of spankings (bratty, but not too b*tchy); for me to like them.
And I adored Jake and Megan Roark. They were realistic, but not too realistic, and had realistic flaws which made them imperfectly perfect.
The spankings were wonderful, as always, but what really called to me was the beautiful and sexy D/S. Holy cow, I have been braiding my hair, and wearing it pulled to one side for days now in an attempt to replay some of those scenes in my mind. Mmmmm!
The plot was fun and engaging with the perfect amount of realism set with a tad bit of fantasy from a cool plot twist.
This was a great length- perfect for two nights of leisurely reading. Not too short, not too long.
Overall, I loved this story, and think it was one of Ms. Knight’s best!
I hope she does more DD stories like this!

Megan also had a rough childhood, which compounds the issue. Megan has one friend that has been with her through everything but the more Megan grows the more she seems to hold Megan back. Megan acts like a rebellious teenage at times.
Jack Roark is a hot, sexy kindhearted man. He loves his wife but is very traditional. They have agreed to domestic discipline in the home to help curb Megan’s issues. While Jack is an alpha male and in charge he does not comes across as an overbearing jerk nor does he punish Megan for every little thing or even look for reasons to punish her.
The chemistry between Jack and Megan is blistering hot. In everything both Jack and Megan do, it’s easy to tell they love each other very much. Megan tries hard to be the woman Jack knows she can be. In fact, she seems to crave the discipline he dishes out to help her overcome her mistakes. The sex scenes were scorching hot.

This is the second book in the Roark Brothers series by Natasha Knight. Jake Roark is 36 years old and a little over a year ago he met Megan who is 26 years old. They've been married for three months and Megan is still insecure in their relationship. She grew up poor and her parents were complete trash but Jake has never judged her by her past. He's old fashioned and believes in Domestic Discipline, he only has two rules ; No Lying and No Drinking if He's Not There. When they met Megan worked in a bakery and with Jake's help she now owns it. Jake doesn't approve of Megan's childhood friend, Josie because he believes she's a bad influence and not a true friend. One night she goes out to dinner with Josie and ends up so drunk that a friend sees her and calls Jake so he can come get her. He's pissed to be called out of an important business meeting to pick up his drunk wife. Jake is an Architect who owns his own boutique firm and he's in the process of bidding on a shopping center that could launch his firm to the next level. When one of the men he's trying to get to except his bid ends up being someone from Megan's past what will happen ? Especially when he tries to blackmail Megan. Will Jake still love her when he finds out the truth about her past ?

This story is about a newly married couple, Jake and Megan. They're in the first year of their marriage where they are also implementing Domestic Discipline as a mainstay in their relationship. Megan enters the marriage knowing that this is how Jake wants things. She is so in love with him and so happy he is with her that she let's herself ignore it. Until she can no longer ignore it anymore.
I think Ms. Knight did an excellent job portraying a new marriage between a man and his younger wife. Megan is more naive than Jake. She is still figuring herself out and coming into her own whereas Jake is already established in adulthood. Megan is trying to come to terms with her past and overcome the feeling that she is not good enough for her husband.
The characters are very real. I think a lot of people experience similar emotions during the early stages of a relationship. Loving another person so wholly, but not really understanding that they love you back with the same intensity. I enjoyed watching Megan grow into herself, and the scenes between Megan and Jake were so hot I needed a cool drink.
Another home run from Natasha Knight. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up now!

I just adored Taming Megan! It was a fantastic book that a lot of us can relate to. We all do stupid things when we are young and then try to forget them. What happens when the past comes back to haunt you and threatens to tear apart everything you love? Well you have to read to find out how Megan handles it.
The storyline is unique and creative. The characters were both people I as a reader could relate to! The author does a fantastic job showing the real raw emotions of this story and how important trust really is. The sex is sizzling and the spanking scenes are simply perfect. I highly recommend this book!

A pleasant short story, but not terribly memorable. Very predictable, romantic, light domestic discipline relationship. The characters were likable and well developed. I enjoy Natasha Knight's writing, this just wasn't one of my favorites.

Nobody does spanking erotic better than natasha knight . I love jake in ths book and how he was gentle and patience but strict with megan and you can see how much he loved her .
