Author of bestsellers, JOY: A Study of Philippians, and Living a Chocolate Life, Deb has penned an assortment of Christian-living books, Bible studies, retreat kits, and devotionals, including Be Still & Know, Leaning on Jesus, and her latest 2024 release, Immeasurably More: 100 Devotions on God's Extravagant Grace, all published by Concordia Publishing House (CPH). Her work has appeared in several periodicals, including Today's Christian Living.

Deb earned a degree in Economics and Finance, then followed the Lord’s lead to direct women’s and family ministries while raising a family and pursuing additional training in writing, speaking, and theology under the direction of noted authors, editors, and theologians.

Deb has spoken at national and regional conferences across the country, as well as retreats and ministry events. She has led workshops and sectionals for the Best Practices for Ministry (BPM) Conferences, the Women’s Leadership Institute’s National Conferences, and more. Her ministry travels have taken her to 30+ states and Canada, aboard a Caribbean cruise ship, and continue to lead her down the street to her home church.

Raised on a ranch in South Dakota, Deb and her family shared adventures residing in five different states before calling Nebraska home. Deb is a follower of Jesus, a pastor's wife, and the proud mother of three amazing young adults. She's a blogger, a women's ministry leader, and a self-proclaimed coffee/chocolate connoisseur. (She never travels without chocolate in one hand and a flavored hot latte in the other!) Above all, Deb is a grace-filled woman of God.

These devotions have a way of taking every day, seemingly ordinary experiences and reminding us that God’s promises and Extravagant Grace are constantly surrounding us (especially when we make messes of things)! Each devotion walks through God’s messages to us with room to reflect and grow through scripture! I pray you will be blessed by this devotional!

“Immeasurably More” is a lovely soft cover book of 100 devotions for women. With the central topic on God’s immeasurable grace, this devotional journal prompts the reader to focus on the grace, love, power, purpose, and peace He provides for and through them.

I like that the format follows the standard format of Scripture verse(s), brief reading, and prayer. But it also adds an introspective journaling prompt (with blank space) for readers to personalize each reading and bring to heart the many ways God is working in them.

Whether days are super busy and you’re needing encouragement or you’re seeking quiet time with God and His infinite grace, each two-page devotion packs a punch. Suitable for group or individual study, the book is filled with encouragement, inspiration, and promises. It includes a presentation for gift-giving.

This devotional is perfect for the busy woman! These 100 devotions are a perfect way to get in the word each day. They feature many experiences women face in their spiritual journeys amidst the chaos of everyday life. Deb uses her personal experiences and struggles to guide readers towards a deeper connection with God through His Word. I loved going through the 10 different topics and could pick a topic based on my need for the day. In each topic Deb dives into how Jesus does immeasurably more than we could ever imagine for us and through us each and everyday. Wonderfully written!

I absolutely loved this devotional book! “Immeasurably More” kept me in the word routinely and encouraged me to think about how God is constantly working through us in ways we cannot see. Sitting down to read and study this devotional was also a great escape from the chaos and stress of everyday life. Whether you’re looking for a way to start or end your day with some rest in Jesus, I would recommend giving this devotional a read! You will not be disappointed!

Deb's new book, "Immeasurably More", is a devotional about the gift of grace we are given in our relationship with our Savior. As I read the devotions, the Bibe was connected to our everyday life and situations that we live out. We find out that "We may not fully "get" grace, but we get grace: it's ours in Christ!" Deb's focus on the gift of grace allows us a deeper understanding of the scriptures. It is a must have in your devotional collection.

Almost finished with Immeasurably More and very much enjoying it. So many of the devotions touched my heart. Deb reminded me who much God loves me and that He doesn't hold back on His forgiveness. Opening up a mindset that knows God can do immeasurably more than I can think or even dream.

"Immeasurably More" is a beautifully balanced devotional that blends call-to-action moments with opportunities for deep reflection. Each of the 100 daily devotions is designed to be easily digestible, taking about 5 minutes to read, which makes it perfect for incorporating into your daily routine. The reflection questions and journaling prompts then offer the flexibility to dive as deeply as you'd like into the material, creating a meaningful and personal experience.

Going through this study independently gave me the chance to reflect on my own without the pressure of sharing, which I found freeing. However, I also think it would have been enriching to hear others' perspectives, especially since the journaling prompts encourage you to see how Christ shows up in even the smallest moments of your day. The immeasurably more theme was powerful, challenging me to notice God's presence in all aspects of my life and reminding me that His love and grace go far beyond what we can ask or imagine.

This devotional can easily work in a group setting, and I think it would offer a dynamic experience, as sharing insights with others could provide even more layers of meaning. Whether you're using it solo or with a group, "Immeasurably More" is a wonderful resource to deepen your faith and awareness of Christ's work in your daily life.

Immeasurably More is a collection of 100 devotions that focus on God's Grace, and it is a lovely book, inside and out! The cover is gorgeous, and the devotions are truly a blessing! In her introduction, author Deb Burma reminds us that "God is able to do immeasurably more...by his power at work in us". Each devotion follows the same format: a Bible verse at the beginning, the author's thoughts and recollections, a journal prompt, and a suggested prayer. Burma's conversational writing style makes me feel like we are sharing a conversation, and I find myself encouraged, motivated, and reminded of just how blessed I am to be a recipient of God's immeasurable grace!

Immeasurably More: 100 Devotional on God's Extravagant Grace is a wonderful resource for individual devotion time or a women's Bible study group, and it's also perfect for gift-giving.

I love finding new devotional books. I am pleased to share Immeasurably More today by Deb Burma which is a brand new release!

I like the set up of this book. There is a verse, reading, and a space to answer a journal prompt and write a prayer. This is an example of a journal prompt.

There are 100 devotions that will encourage your heart. Notice above the 10 different topics that are covered. This is a good way to spend some time focusing on God's Word and truth during your day.

I have enjoyed reading these devotions and the questions posed at the end. This will be a nice addition to your quiet time. It would make a nice gift as well. Please consider buying this book.

"Immeasurably More” is a must have addition to your devotion routine! It combines 100 devotions where Deb uses relatable and engaging stories and word pictures to draw you into scripture, deepening one’s understanding of scripture and God’s abundant love for each of us. The journaling portion at the end of each devotion provides starter thoughts with opportunity to soak in the devotion for the day and reflect on what His word has to say. After journaling, the reader is able to read the beginning of a prayer. This starter gives the opportunity to be led by the Spirit to personalize the prayer to fit what’s on the reader’s heart. You will end each devotion time feeling God’s abundant love for you!

Deb has done it again. "Immeasurably More" is the perfect devotional book to give as a gift or keep for yourself. Deb shares short devotional thoughts and insights grouped into 10 topics (Grace, Love, Power, Provision, Purpose, Peace, Joy, Gifts, Rest, and Life). I especially enjoyed the Grace and Joy devotions. Each devotion includes a journaling prompt allowing for more time to ponder or record a take away though. Prayer starters are also included. The devotions are short enough to fit my busy schedule but each one is thought-provoking and draws me closer to God and his Word. The book is beautiful and well-written.

What a great devotional Deb Burma has put together. There are 100 devotionals arranged in 10 different topics each seem to speak directly to me! I am amazed at how much content is packed in a short two-page devotional. It’s just the right amount to read and gives you a journal prompt to ponder and/or journal. I’ve found myself being encouraging and being challenged in helpful ways. I often find myself ruminating on the questions throughout the day keeping God’s Word close sparking me to dig in more. This is a devotional I can return to over and over!

These 100 devotions can be read in order or you can choose to read what you are needing “Immeasurable More” of for each day. Being able to journal how each devotional impacts you at the time you read it and what you are going through is a nice way to go back and read again at another time and see what impacts you or how much God has helped you to overcome any struggle you may have had or remind you of joys also.

Deb does it again! As an avid journal lover this devotion was such a joy to go through. I found myself pondering the questions at the end throughout my day. It was thought provoking and even gave me great discussion points to discuss with loved ones over supper. Grab this! You won't regret it.
