I was not impressed. My children were not impressed. My youngest two love fish and other sea creatures, which is why I purchased this book, but they lost interest in it very quickly. We did not even get to the "fifth" friend.

And as a writer myself, I stress to all of my children the importance of good grammar and spelling, and this book was littered with grammatical errors, and many of the lead-in sentences did not mesh well with the context of the following sentence.

And seriously, since when is "there ten is" (pulled directly from the book, no capital letter and no punctuation) a suitable sentence? All in all, a horrible reading experience.

There are reading tips in the front of this book that are worth reading, they really are. They are Terrific!! The illustrations are vivid and whimsical. The storyline is easy to follow and fun. Enjoy reading this Bugville, Jr., Storybook.
We are going aboard the S.S. Bug. We are going to go on a counting adventure under the sea. Who is going to be the first under the sea we get to count? There's a squid. He is friend number five. There's a beautiful horse. Under the sea? How can that be? You get to read/listen to find out. Yipee!!

New friends

The book was about how many friends you have and how many new friends you have.
I consider that this book is really important because you always need friends to be there for you and cheer you up when your feeling are hurt.
the on part I didn't like was that if you had to many friends which on was your bff you can only have on bff in your life.

This book might be good for very little kids. If it did not consist of super lazy art and a few weird and likely incorrect grammatical structures.
