RIP YOU MOVE ME OH MY GOD. literally seeing how sweet he is as a doctor does give me dr tenma vibes IN THE BEST WAY. sorry i am a sucker for a soft-hearted doctor like UGHHHHH. AND HIM AND LATLA AND LEILA LiKE BRO. sorry rip is the fucking best
More of a 4.5 star rating; I read the official English translation on an app called “MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA”. I was extremely happy while reading this volume since Chikara is one my favorites in terms of the more side Negator characters. It was adorable seeing him navigate his school days and, highly amusing seeing Fuuko and the other Union members also navigating a high school. It was also very intriguing seeing how exactly things lead into Rip, Latla and Leila’s arc. I loved the multiple flashback moments that showed all 3 of them when they were smaller and especially with how they met. Seeing the actual dynamic that Rip and Latla have with Leila, was very lovely to see since there is a lot of Leila that we don’t know from the previous Loop, considering she mainly haunted Loop 100 Rip and Latla’s overall arc. Overall, I adored this volume and am eager to see how the Union goes up against Master Rule: Sickness in the next volume.

It's been a while since I've last read this manga, and it finished in the meantime (only like six days ago, but still). I'm actually rather close to the end, like sixty chapters, which is roughly six volumes (several of which aren't collected/printed yet), so I can probably wrap this up quite soon.
But, yeah, despite being months since I've read Volume 19, the manga still hits hard. Almost every chapter is as emotionally "moving" as I recall them being for at least this entire new Loop.
We finish the new Unmove arc and enter the new Unrepair arc. With Unmovie, we had a minor battle against UMA Colour, which felt like it was just there to have a fight, and which I think was true for some of the recent arcs. Now we have Master Rule UMA Sick, who at least feels more worthwhile as an enemy.
Pretty sure the manga is building to a throuple with Rip, Latla, and Leila.

This series keeps on hitting it out of the park. The volume starts with the end of the Chikara school arc, which ties up nicely and gives everyone the chance for some fun lighthearted shenanigans at school. It was a nice bit of development for Fuuko because she finally got to live her dream of going to school. Chikara's parents choosing to go into the future with him was also cute. Then we get into the meat of the volume, which is Rip, Latla, and Leila's story. Their story is a really touching one, where they've all grown up together and have this beautiful supportive relationship. The wholesomeness of their relationship is just so beautiful and their visit to the beach before fighting sickness had me tearing up. We now have the appearance of a top level UMA, Sickness, that seems ready to really cause some havoc and be a difficult battle.

Ok so are finished with the Chikara arc and it was ok seems it could have had a bit of a better ending but it was still a nice wrap up, and we finally get to the character I have been waiting for Rip. It is a nice start and we get to the first new UMA that is not just a throw away monster. After the loop started all of the UMAs were just monsters that either lacked personality, a cool design or really and significance. Sick is the first one who really looks great and has some significance in Rips arc. I like the whole goth music maestro aesthetic he has and it looks like it will be a great fight.
I remember the pre-loop fight with Rip and Latla, at the end of the loop, was the first time Undead Unluck really started clicking for me. On reread I love this series throughout but it was rough at first. That first volume left a bad taste and getting me to like the series was an uphill battle that coloured my perception of otherwise perfectly good (even great) volumes. But all the Unrepair stuff is so cool, I love his backstory so much, him trying so hard to be an edgy villain when really he's a big softie, seeing him actually get to be on the side of the good guys this time is incredible! Oh and Latla seems to get to be more than just a sidekick/defensive ability this time, let's go!
