Reality can be cold and so can virtual reality. As Alex’s family and friends prepare to celebrate their last Christmas in Colorado, the conflict in VRMMO Eternal Dominion with the dark elves enters a new stage as Xeal makes a few icy discoveries. Shaky alliances and truces will be tested as the future of every player in ED could be affected by the discoveries that are made. Worse yet, even Xeal knows that he can’t claim to have clean hands in some matters as he focuses on moving forward in his never ending pursuit of his goals. After all, he knows that there is no point in asking for, or offering mercy as those he faces are merciless and he will need to be too if he wants to come out on top.
As a child I did not read unless Pokémon cards count. It wasn’t until middle school when my mother played a trick on me, she got me entranced in the Harry Potter books. She would read the first few to me before switching to reading me a chapter and leaving the book out for me to read if I wanted more. Thus started my love of reading, at least in part. I still didn’t go out of my way to find books to read and after high school I could count on one hand how many books I would read each year. Life continued like this for over five years before I was hooked on an anime and searched out its light novel. This led to the phase where I was reading at least a couple books a month to now where I have gone through over 300 books in the last year.
Now I am putting my own work in to the world while following my own mantra. To write for yourself or you will never love what you write. When I first started to put my ideas into words I was surprised to find that those I shared it with loved it. This led me on to the road of putting out my own book for the world to see. Thank you to everyone who has or will help and support me in making this dream a reality.
I think I binged the first eighteen or nineteen books over the course of a month? I thought it’d just be a fun read and that’d be the end of it as I typically wait until series are completed so that I’m not irritated by cliffhangers, only for me to find myself another eight books in, and actually being PATIENT to wait for the next book. I’d say more, but I can’t really think of much to say other than I’m going to force myself out of my comfort zone to go checkout Bern’s other two series because I enjoy his writing and want him to succeed so he can continue writing other books that tickle my brain enough to encourage me to be patient.
I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who likes LitRPG and progression types of books with lots of action and real life tie in.
New territories, new adventures, great action continues to make an amazing story! I don't know about all the wives and children,. Two kids was plenty for me and one still enjoys my adventures with me. The other young man decided to see how life with four kids turns out! Keep up the excellent writing Mr Dean!
I was pleased with this installment. Focused on wrapping up some storylines. Still need to meet a few more goats. There was less repetitive family narrative while still feeling part of a giant family. I'll keep reading this series.
This Is one hell of a saga. The writing is consistent, engaging, and well written. Not only that,, this has to be one of the most well edited Series I've ever read. Very rarely if ever Do I see A copy editing mistake Or misplaced word.
