Obviously if you understand Korean, these jokes make more sense, but the author did his best to explain the linguistics of how the jokes are funny, followed by some background information on Korea and Korean culture related to some aspect of the joke… except for the last two chapters, for some reason.

Definitely a must read for anyone who appreciates dad jokes, language, and Kim SeokJin.

I enjoyed reading it, despite my limited knowledge of the Korean language. However, there were parts that maybe needed a once over by the editor to help the writer clarify a few points here and there.


And why does the doodle on the cover remind me of Jin in the MV for 2.0? For real for real for real! 🤣
