Awkward: Confessions from the workplace

Rate this book
Have you ever wondered how awkward and embarrassing it would be to proposition someone in an interview, accidentally insult a colleague's disabled child or get caught vandalising your manager's prized possession?

In a relatively short career Tom Harrison has experienced all this and more, leading him to be described by the HR Director of one of the UK's largest companies as a "walking HR nightmare".

Through his collection of career fails you will laugh, gasp in horror and learn how not to behave in the workplace.

Another interesting recommendation from a work friend…

I’d like to give this 5 stars - the stories were funny and it was an easy read. However, purely for the physical cringing and secondhand embarrassment it caused me, I’ll shave off half a star. Honestly, how can one man have so many tales of gaucherie? 4.5 overall

If you work in an office...... read it.
Short sharp cringe stories that make you want to curl up inside and die...... if it were you.
However, as it is not me i found it fucking hilarious.
However, however...... might need counciling as it brings back with a crash all the stupid shit you have done and cringe all over again.
