Love is on the menu this Easter in Honeywell village.
Landing a job at The Sugarloaf Bakery is the perfect distraction for Alix following her recent break-up. But sparks fly with local teacher Oliver when she arrives at the primary school to give a cookery lesson – and not in a good way.
Luckily for Alix, the rest of the village doesn't share Oliver’s poor opinion of her skills. She quickly becomes entangled in the lives of widowed single dad Harry and his young daughter, not to mention their pet bunnies.
Yet Alix can’t stop thinking about Oliver, even with his ex-fiancée back on the scene. Is there something between them after all? The Honeywell Easter fair seems the perfect place to find out.
Filled with romance, laughter and plenty of cake, A Sugarloaf Easter is an uplifting story of fresh starts and second chances. Because everyone deserves an extra slice of happiness.
Loved that I finished this book on Easter, but that’s about all 🫣 😬 I hate that each one of these books as I go farther in the series is not as good as the first. This one completely bored me and was difficult to even get through. I love seeing all the previous characters , but not the new story lines. I could have DNF this one and wouldn’t have regretted it,
I have read all 5 books in the Sugarloaf Bakery series and everyone of them are wonderful books. All the characters are believable once you start reading them it's hard to put them down.
