Growing up in our small town, Faith Easton and I were polar opposites. She exuded quiet grace, beauty, and intelligence, from the rich side of town, while I thrived in boisterous rebellion, destined for a career in professional football, despite my upbringing in a trailer park.
Yet, fate intervened one unforgettable night at the Mont du Marquette Adult Club, where masks conceal secrets and identities. My friends had dragged me there to heal from a recent heartbreak, but instead, I found myself ensnared by Faith's allure under the full moon's glow, knowing in my bones that she was not just what I wanted, but what I needed.
However, I made a grave mistake – I crafted a fictitious persona to captivate her heart. Now, she's enamored by Thor, a mysterious trucker with an irresistible voice, oblivious to the fact that beneath his guise lies Hunter Holloway, the rising NFL star and her family's sworn adversary.
Caught in a tangled web of deception, I face a daunting predicament. Once Faith learns the truth, my chance at love with her could crumble to dust.
Our love story is a scorching, intricate dance of enemies entwined in desire. And let me tell you, the heat is intense.
Prepare for "The Feud," an electrifying enemies-to-lovers sports romance where passion collides with rivalry, promising a triumphant happily ever after.
Hi, there! My name is Mickey Miller and I write sexy, fun romance with smart characters. My books are great if you're looking for a light-hearted, steamy read with some humor and a happy ending! Happy reading!
Faith is a preacher’s daughter, college senior, and all around good girl. When she has her heart broken by her absolutely infuriating fiancé, she decides to live a little. Her friends drag her to a spicy club where everyone wear a mask. She meets a man who seems to be absolutely charming and attractive. It turns out to be Hunter, a member of a rival family, and Pro-athlete bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. It seems he never got over his high-school crush after all. This book was full of rural small town vibes and I loved it. This book was a surprisingly sweet enemies-to-lovers story that I devoured in one sitting.
I have a million adjectives I could use to describe Faith & Hunter, but none fit, they were just perfect together! From the moment they saw each other at her family restaurant, their chemistry sizzled & sparked like a live wire. It didn't matter that her fiance was sitting nearby. Faith has always been the good girl in a committed relationship since high school. When her fiance blindsided her with a summer spent in DC without her. He called it a Rumspringa(Amish), his opportunity to sew his wild oats before marriage. He fully expected her to sit home & wait for his return. With a bit of convincing from her friends, she ends up at Mont Du Marquette, a sex club outside her home town where she meets the perfect guy. Hunter is home after his first season in the NFL, he was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks who did something with his life! Running into Faith was amazing & terrifying at the same time. He has had a crush on her for yrs, but a family feud means he has no chance, that is until now. However, lies & a secret identity could end everything before it even begins. At the club wearing a mask, she meets "Thor" a tall, sexy, strong man with a voice that could melt butter. He meets "Luna" a woman with a body made for sin & the voice of an angel. They hit it off & hope to see each other again outside the club. Hunter never imagined he'd find her the very next day in church! "Thor & Luna" are straight fire in this slow burn, super spicy, enact your deepest, darkest fantasied, hot as hell story! I fell in love with all of the side characters as well, they were hilarious! I absolutely loved this story & stayed up all night to finish it! The book hangover was real y'all! Enjoy!
I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
Faith and Hunter's story is a true Romeo and Juliet plot, but spicier and deeper. And I loved seeing their characters grow the more they interacted.
Faith has been the good girl all her life, following her dad's rules and going through the motions he created for her with a fiance to boot. But I'm glad she finally realized that Keith was a jerk and he was her father's future, not what she wanted. Seeing her take charge of her life by making decisions SHE wants to do was so empowering and strong. I loved seeing her make decisions without first wondering "what would my father say".
And Hunter has so many personalities from being shy vs dominate, humble vs bragging, and controlling vs petrified. I'm sure it was because he grew up loving one way and then getting famous once he started playing professional ball, but this man gave me whiplash a few times. But the best part? He is so in tuned with Faith and only wants the best for her, which I adored.
So glad I got the chance to read the end to this series! It was great seeing past characters and meet new characters! And yet again another great novel by Mickey Miller!
Faith has always been the good girl. Always listening and doing what ever everyone else told her to do, even if it didn’t make her happy or seen. This including her parents, her aunt, her fiancé and his parents. Hunter grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, in a trailer park by a single mom. He knew he needed to figure out a way to get out. Now he is a local legend as a NFL quarterback. When Faith’s college friends came to her little town to spend the week they talked her into going to an exclusive sex club. The rules were simple, no names and no faces. That is when she met a man. She called him Thor and he called Faith his. All she had was his voice. This was only suppose to be an untouchable fantasy. That was until the mask came off. Now her fantasy has turned into a nightmare because the voice behind the mask is none other than her families sworn enemy Hunter the local legend and NFL quarterback. The more time she spends with him the more she realizes he sees her and he is the only one who ever has. I could not put this book down. I like seeing the growth that Faith did throughout the book. What can I say about Hunter? He is what any good book boyfriend is.
Thoughts: I loved this book so much and would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to read a super passionate, yet heartwarming story. The chemistry between Faith and Hunter was so electric and I loved the humour Mickey brought to the story. It was super steamy with a mysterious masked $ex club, hidden identities, $exting and even a bit of k!nk. I really liked seeing the growth in their characters as they moved beyond a summer fling and fell in love with each other. You will love reading the conclusion to the “Forever You” College series, it was worth the wait.

I’ve been waiting for Hunter. Hunter and Faith’s story was hot, steamy and down right irresponsible and hard to stop reading. A family feud, feelings from the past and a little crush that never went away. When Faith finds out her fiance wants a break to explore his options leaving her wondering if this is the life she wants, opening a door to new possibilities, should she take the leap? The Holloway’s are feuding with the Stinsons and the Easton’s and Faith is an Easton, and she’s all he’s ever wanted and when a chance meeting at a sex club gives them the opportunity to be someone else, well why not. Masks, fake names and the connection between them was hot! . Can these two really have something special or will her father have something to say about him beong a Holloway? Another great read by this author!
I feel like every book I’ve read this month has been 3 stars. Not great, but not terrible either.
This H was obsessed with h and was hiding behind a mask, then text, without telling her. The first time they hook up, he knows who she is but doesn’t tell her who he is. 😩 It’s not until the next morning, he tells her- naturally, she is mad asf.
I did really like the progression of h throughout this book. She starts as some meek church mouse whose life is controlled by her parents. She’s a totally different character by the end. I loved it.
I liked H, also. He was a likable character (except for the no-tell before smex)
I LOVED this quote from the book
“Easy choices, hard life. Your soul feels uncomfortable. It’s not being fed right. Hard choices…easy on the soul.”
This had a modern day Romeo/Juliet vibe Good girl from one family falling for the supposed bad boy from a rival family. Albeit the rivals are a restaurant and a bar down the road. Faith is devastated when her fiance decides he wants to be on a break... (huge friends flash here). Hunter just happens to be in her restaurant that day, and Faith has always had a little crush. Funny thing is Hunter has always had a thing for Faith too. These two have a chance meeting at a sex club where there are endless possibilities. Hidden identites and their chance to have a little fun. The chemistry between these two was off the charts hot. But will family rivalries destroy their happily ever after. Love the way Mickey writes and brings us along with the characters. Another must read from Mr Miller.
Faith (or Luna) and Hunter (or Thor) are amazing. Their families hate each other with a passion only Shakespeare can rival but Romeo and Juliet they are not or are they. This book is spicy. We have a secret sex club and a secret love. Faith is engaged to a tool and Hunter has had a crush on her since high school. When they both find them selves at a club and are drawn to each other, fate steps in as both are masked and Faith hasn’t heard Hunter voice in years because he get tongue tied around her. They start texting as Thor and Luna. Everything is going great until her ex butts in. Grand slam Mickey I loved it and has taking the number one spot as my favorite book by you!
I loved reading Faith and Hunter’s story. Faith grew up on the wealthy side of town and Hunter grew up on the poor side of town. Their families have been feuding for years. Faith goes with her friends to a sex club where masks are mandatory. She uses the name Luna. Hunter is also at the club and he uses the name Thor. Luna and Thor have an instant connection. Hunter knows that Luna is Faith. Eventually Faith finds out who Thor really is but by that point it doesn’t matter that they are from feuding families. Will Hunter and Faith finally get a happy ever after? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
The Feud is another awesome book by Mickey Miller.
Faith has always been the good girl, following her dad's rules and going along with her father's plan for her life which included a fiance. I was so relieved when she was able to stand up for herself and make decisions about her life.
Hunter has so many personalities and qualities but I think it comes from growing up one way and then becoming famous once he started playing professional ball. One thing that stayed constant though is that he only wanted what was best for Faith.
It was awesome reading about past characters and meeting new characters! I highly recommend reading this book/series!!!!!!
This was my first book by Mickey Miller so I wasn't sure what to expect from his writing. The tropes in this story are some of my favorites (enemies to lovers, hidden identities, sports romance, college aged) and it was a super quick read but it just overall didn't do it for me. Hunter was my favorite thing about this book. Also parts were pretty repetitive and I wasn't a huge fan of Faith. But I will say the ending was cute and I liked the time jump.
Thank you Mickey Miller for an eARC of this book! Look forward to reading more of your books in the future.
Rivel families, secret identities, and a meeting at an adult club make for one interesting read. Football star and resident bad boy Hunter falls for good girl Faith, the town sweetheart. These two meet under hidden identities and share a secret relationship that is explosive until his identity is revealed. Fast forward a few years, and both are still harboring feelings for one another. This was a quick read that had me rooting for Hunter until the very end.
To be brutally honest.. I wasn't a huge fan of faith and then she evolved and I absolutely adored her. The way you get to see her come into her own I loved. To see the each characters side of how they hate each other as run. I loved Faith and Hunters story. I wanted to reach through my phone and whack him and her family on their heads.... a bunch and trust me once you read you will Be in the same boat as the rest of us. This book is sweet, spicy, and everything you'd want.
Wow, just wow! I truly enjoyed Hunter and Faith’s story. Hunters always been the bad boy in town coming from the wrong side of the tracks in the trailer park. Faith is the daughter of the preacher in town. There is a feud between the families. Hunter and Faith, however find each other. Their relationship is a rocky one. Neither one is what everyone thinks. They realize who they are, and who they want to be and cling to that. Hope there will be more of the series.
I loved the love hate relationship in this book. It wasn't so aggressive and written in a way I never read before this. Watching April grow and explore herself is such a big part of this book and that's why it's one of my favorites of Mickey Miller. Hunter shows growth and change but it's watching him fall in love with April that makes this such a beautiful read.
This was my first read by this author. I wasn't sure if his style or writing but I have to be honest I really did enjoy it. Good story plot good character development will definitely some spice in there. The story between hundred and safe and the journey that their lives went on especially the development for Hunter was something I thoroughly enjoyed

Some of my favourite, more light-hearted tropes are contained in this story by MM. College age adults with the world before them, enemies to lovers, sports romance, and hidden identities - both Faith and Hunter have a lot to lose when they first embark upon a secret relationship that threatens to tear apart what they think they know.
I really enjoyed Faith and Hunter's romance. The Feels and tension are plentiful as the engaging storyline unfolds. Angst and heartstring tugging give your heart a serious workout as this couple's relationship evolves and I must admit my heart ached for both of these characters for different reasons. Rooting for them was an absolute must because they were exceptionally worthy of a HEA.
Love has a powerful way of removing one's mask ...
Hunter and Faith met under unusual circumstances. Their relationship started on a fantasy but ended with so much more. Once Hunter dropped his facade, the secret and lies are revealed.
As their story progresses, Faith finally develops a backbone and comes into her own. Very entertaining with just the right amount of spice.
Absolutely really enjoyed every minute of Faith and Hunter's romance story. There’s plenty of tension, angst, push and pull between the characters, and chemistry to keep you entertained throughout. I really enjoyed watching Faith stand up and come into her own. A terrific read and one I recommend.
I loved this book and the way Faith evolved. She tried to be what everyone around her wanted until she met Hunter/Thor. It was great to see how what Faith considered opposites ended up being her true love.
This was a fun story about finding yourself with a little bit of Romeo and Juliet thrown in. The author gave us passion and mystery while keeping in engaged in the story. We got to see Faith grow and Hunter let someone in. I really enjoyed it.
Once I picked up this book, I couldn’t put it down—I devoured it in a single sitting. Packed with fun and addictive tropes like enemies to lovers and a clever secret identity twist, the story delivers both heart and heat. Hunter, a rising NFL star, has always believed that Faith is out of his league—until a chance masked encounter at a club changes everything. What follows is a spicy, whirlwind romance full of tension, surprises, and emotional depth. Beyond the sizzle and swoon, the story carries a lovely message about listening to your heart and letting it guide you. A thoroughly entertaining and satisfying read.
