This started a little slow in character development but once I got to know Annie a little better, I was invested in her story. The suspense was tight throughout with definite villains and an evil ‘who-knows-what?’ atmosphere. I really enjoyed the good triumphing over evil and the deep regard for right and human life expressed by both Annie and Brady. Their love story was a little fast at the end but I did believe they would eventually end up together.
This was a really good story. It must have been a challenge to write with the difficulties so many people were facing and still holding on to hope in the midst of it all.
