One Voice: David Holmes

Rate this book
An account of a dramatic period of Glasgow Rangers history.

For the first time, David Holmes provides his account of the most dramatic period in the 150-year history of Rangers, a seismic changing of the guard at the Ibrox club which also significantly altered the landscape of Scottish football as a whole.

The book includes contributions from many of the figures at the heart of the action, both on and off the pitch, which dragged Rangers out of a period of mediocrity and turned them into a powerhouse of British and European football.

Graeme Souness, Terry Butcher, Jimmy Nicholl and Campbell Ogilvie are among those interviewed.

Lots of interesting info. I well remember the Holmes/Souness years at Ibrox, but didn’t know that David Murray was so nasty, and then he left Rangers in a mess. Worth a read.
