Anwil is now High King of Camelot and Briton, having finally assumed the crown of his late father, King Arthur. His twin sister, Ariadne, has earned her seat as a Knight of the Round Table. Both hope to live up to the expectations placed upon them at birth and leave a legacy outside of their legendary father’s shadow.

As Anwil tries to be the wartime king Camelot needs, and a grief-stricken Ariadne struggles to control her anger and need for revenge, both find themselves in over their heads.

While dealing with Nimue and Mordred’s threat of a disastrous fae versus human war, Morgana le Fey shows up in Camelot with grave news. With Anwil’s life now in danger, he and Ariadne must team up with old and new allies and travel the realms to take fate back into their own hands.

Bravo!!!! Oi, this is SUCH a journey! I feel so honored to have been able to read this book in various forms/manuscripts and now the ARC. The end of October can't get here soon enough --- Realms and Fate needs to join Crowns in a place of honor on my bookshelves!!! The absolute sheer amount of plot twists and turns keeps you guessing, and JUST when you think you've got it figured out, BAM, another heartwrenching moment. The twins are just amazing, the new addition of characters like Connor are both aggravating and yet refreshing, and this tale reads as it has always been, and not just a new variation on the Knights of The Round Table and Arthurian legends. Can't wait for the next installment!!

Thanks again for allowing me to be such a part of this special journey!

I absolutely loved this. I love the characters, I love the plot, and even when I thought I knew where things were headed, I was still taken by surprise. So well done!

Banning is back at it again with the second volume in her continuation of Arthurian legend.

I adored this novel, even more than book 1. Banning writes strong, independent female characters. She writes male characters that are vulnerable and gentle. and let's not forget to mention the Banning knows adventure, and it comes out in her world building.

There are battles and some romance, magic and uncertainty, and growth and healing. Of Realms and Fate has everything that draws me to a book.

The twin heirs Anwil and Ariadne step into their legendary roles: Anwil as High King of Camelot and Briton, and Ariadne as a Knight of the Round Table. But their rise to power is shadowed by grief, war, and the looming threat of a fae-human conflict stirred by Nimue and Mordred. When Morgana le Fey arrives with dire news, the siblings must confront their legacy, rally allies old and new, and journey across magical realms to reclaim their destiny and protect the fragile peace their father, King Arthur, once fought for.

Of Realms and Fate is a rewarding sequel that deepens both the emotional and mythological stakes of its world. Chelsea Banning proves she’s not merely re-telling Arthurian legend — she’s reshaping it for a new generation.

If you enjoy Court politics, sibling bonds, fae mythology, and introspective heroes, this novel deserves a place on your shelf.

STUNNING. I could not put it down. The way magic is written in this book takes me back to the elegance and complexity in classic old-school fantasy--it's woven into the story in such a rich poetic way. But the story itself is so fresh, with such a satisfying take on characters from Arthurian legend and unique characters who never appeared in the old stories. I loved how prominent Morgana was in this book--I was so curious about her at the end of book one and I'm glad we got to see so much of her in the sequel. And that ENDING. There are so many references and nods to the legends but it all feels so incredibly new and refreshing. Absolutely brilliant.
