But their time is like sand in an hourglass, and it's quickly running out.
Reinhardt is still on the hunt for his missing merman, and the ocean is luring Kai back to her watery depths more and more each day. Maren knows that she will have to let him go, just as she knows that more than her heart will leave with him. But the sea is full of mysteries, ones her father never revealed, and she’s about to find out that her connection to the ocean runs deeper than she ever thought possible.

This book made me settle on a dual major for college
oh my gosh i read both the first and second book in 24 hours i could not get enough of the authors writing style, the pure chemistry of the characters nor the continues niche marine biology references. i’m so glad i stumbled across this on tiktok because i really needed a book like this to help me get out of my reading slump. i’m probably gonna post a more thorough review when i have the time to write one, but i absolutely adored this book, was enraptured by it from the first line, and highly recommend it to anyone with a love of marine biology, romance, the ocean, or ocean-themed mythology. this book has it all!
