Reid Everything’s fallen apart. My career, my friendships, the band that was my life for ten years. They’ve all crumbled beneath my feet. I have a past I’ve been running from, a present with nothing going for me, and a future that’s looking empty and dull.
That is until I see her again. The foster sister I left behind. She thinks I forgot about her once, but I refuse to let that happen again. She upends everything I thought I knew. Pushes me in ways I don’t like, but reluctantly might need. Shows me that while things may be broken, it doesn’t mean they have to stay that way.
My career, my music, my future…maybe Aspen Andersen is the key to getting them all back on track.
Aspen I never forgot about my foster brother, even when he forgot about me. I mean, it’s kind of hard to when his songs are always on the radio. But when he walks into the bar I work at, all broody and angry at the world, I’m not sure who this version of him is.
I can’t blame him for leaving me behind while his music and fame took off. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt to be forgotten by the one person that ever had my back when everyone else abandoned me.
But he doesn’t seem inclined to leave me this time. Not as everything in his life has shattered and he seems helpless to figure out how to pick up the pieces. I’m not sure if I can help him, but one thing I do know is now that Reid Keely is back in my life, I don’t want to watch him leave again.
4.5 stars. This was a really satisfying end to the series. I loved it.
It made me so happy to see the band huddled together again, breathing the same air and grounding each other before a gig. Michae's love of music has really shone through this series, and Take Me Home was no exception.
The romance was beautiful, and I love that the characters talked their way through conflict, rather than the contrived scenarios used in a lot books to cause tension.
Rock Star Romance Foster Siblings Mutual Healing Found Family Spice 🌶️.5
I always dread the last book in a series because I have to say goodbye to characters I fall in love with and I'm afraid the author will leave me disappointed because I have certain expectations of how it should end. Michae did Reid such justice I could cry! Infact I did cry!
The last book in the Whisper Me Nothing Series is Reid's story. He is the grumpy asshole of the group and finally has to deal with his demons. Enter Aspen, his foster sibling whom he lived with when he was in the system so many years ago. Aspen's presence back in his life is unsettling and exactly what he needs to help him find his way home.
Reid and Aspen's journey to healing and and finding a safe space within each other is so beautiful and heartwarming. Reid's character development and growth is so emotional, real and raw, I just wanted to hug him!
Thank you Michae for giving Reid the home he needed and the family he deserves.
I had the deep honor of beta reading for Michae Marie….and when I say this book was highly anticipated, that is an absolute understatement.
We finallyyyyy get our bad boy’s book.
Reid and Aspen’s story is layered with rich emotion that absolutely broke my heart. Their journey unfolds through their connected past, and their fight for each other was a privilege to read.
One of the fantastic things about Michae’s writing is that you can feel her words. You know they come from a deeply personal place.
You can read this book as a standalone… but if you haven’t read the Whisper Me Nothings series, I highly recommend going back to the beginning!
Each book in the series holds a special place in my heart, but there’s something about this one that really brings it all together. There was a lot of healing that needed to happen, and Michae took great care in bringing the guys together so beautifully.
This was everything i wanted it to be and more! I knew from book 1 that there was so much more to Reid than we were being shown and boy was i right. Michae wrote her heart out with this one. I loved every moment and could have read 500 more pages of Reid and Aspen and the whole gang really. I am sad this series is over but can’t wait for what else is to come!
wow!! with every read from michae i just keep on being amazed by the amazing storytelling and character development with her stories. and this ain’t any different. this book has been well anticipated ever since we first met reid in take you down. and it is a book worth the wait for sure!
reid, our grumpy mmc, has been painted out as the asshole and the bad guy throughout the series. well, we finally got into his head and learns about his history and character. and man was i absolutely a goner when it comes to this man. his story wasn’t easy to read about but damn was it a rewarding feeling seeing how much he developed as a person throughout the book. he finally got his redemption in this one. every action and reaction from him in the previous books now all makes more sense. michae truly did him with such justice!
and aspen, our fmc, is reid’s younger foster sibling. i absolutely love aspen!! she such a strong will-minded character, and at the same very much broken beneath the surface. her healing, as well as reid’s, were beautifully written. i feel in love with her so easily. and of course her son; macaroni, the cutest cat ever!
i loved reid and aspen’s realtionship. their banter, healing, and connection felt so natural and well written, making me so attached to them. they are the perfect match for each other. i liked the fact that aspen could hold him accountable, calling him out for actions, making him work things out healthy and knowing that he isn’t alone in all of this. they both grew so much as characters and they make me so emotional my babies they deserve the whole world.
i always dread when it comes to the final installment in my favorite series. it feels so saddening to leave these characters that i’ve become attached to, almost feeling like a real family. this whole series is everything to me and will forever have a special place in my heart ❤️
thank you so much to my girl michae for letting me beta (and ARC) read this book!! i had the best time 🫶🏻
My love for Reid started from book one, he was an asshole.. yes, he caused issues and made us want to riot.. yes we never understood him yes but my love for that man superseded it all.
I knew that Reid was going to rip out my heart, smash it to pieces put it back together to love him even more.. a man who makes you want to junk punch him and simultaneously climb him like a tree...
He did my head, heart and soul in, while making me get full on body flutters.. one of my favorite characters ever.
After the band broke up, and the broken friendships imploded his life in his eyes everyone has it out for him, he walks into a bar, gives his usual brand of shitty attitude to the bar lady, thinking she is another fan girl, when during her shift she gets up to sing, Reid is shocked, taken back to his childhood... that is Aspen... his penny his foster sibling.
Aspen has got some fire, and her banter with Reid was incredible, she gives as good as she gets, they are so fiery and passionate.
Reid, lost his passion along the way, resents himself and takes all that out on everyone around him, but that man did us all proud... what a character development.
Seeing him try. Fail and try again to take accountability and voice his reasons.. ahh this man I wanna just hug him, among other very dirty things.
@ohheyitsmich somehow got into my head.. and altered my brain chemistry with Reid.. this man, this book, their song🖤. I was a gonner from the beginning
Aspen was an awesome FMC, strong when she thinks she isn't, and just perfectly vulnerable enough. The one perfect person for Reid
Two letters, one word,.... us... damn swoony couple, incredible read and yummiest spice
Take Me Home is the final book in the Whisper Me Nothings series by Michae Marie. We follow Reid, our misunderstood and rebellious band member, whose life has taken a turn for the worse. His band is broken up, and his friendships with his bandmates are strained, except for the one he shares with Nikolai, the lead singer and his best friend.
Their lives intersect again when they meet Aspen, their foster sister. As they slowly rebuild their friendship, they realize that their bond has deepened into something more romantic. Aspen offers Reid a fresh perspective on his actions towards his bandmates, revealing that he may have been misguided in his intentions.
With Aspen's guidance, Reid makes amends with his bandmates and works to rebuild their fractured friendship. Together, they strive to bring the band of Whisper Me Nothings back together.
Throughout the book, Reid and Aspen confront their past traumas and learn to trust each other. They discover that they have found a sense of home in each other, a place where they feel valued and loved. Their relationship becomes a source of healing and strength for both of them.
The book concludes with the band's reunion, and they have taken significant steps towards mending their bonds.
Michae’s writing is captivating, and her ability to create complex characters and intricate plots is evident throughout the series. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Whisper Me Nothings since last year, and I can't wait to see what Michae Marie has in store for us next.
Thank you to the author for the Arc of this title. All thoughts and opinions are my own
Ever since Michae surprise dropped Take You Down I've been so curious about Reid and what has our broken, angry boy so jaded so of course I RAN to sign up for an ARC lol.
This series has been a whirlwind of emotions and I'm so grateful to have been sent an ARC copy.
Reid and Aspen feel like the perfect fit for each other. I love how she wasn't scared to call him out and how there really wasn't much hesitation or denial from either of them once things got moving.
Reid's reasoning for his actions and reactions over the past three books make total sense even if it did make me want to hug him and scream at him in equal measure.
The found family feeling was back in this onr and I am so glad the boys found their way back to each other!! I do have some questions about Walker and Scar I hope get answered ( I think st one point Michae was planning a novella for them and I am praying that's still the case!)
Overall I loved this. I love this world and these characters, Michae's storytelling, the covers, everything!
4,5. The best one in the series! I really loved Reid and Aspen together. How they showed up for each other and how Reid was able to let go of some of his anger. They had a beautiful story! This was also highlighted by Michae's writing that has only gotten better.
The only thing I didn't like was the bloody first time (literally). I know first times can be painful, but not for everyone, and I just find it annoying how pain is always the default in every book with virginity involved.

This is the last book in the Whisper Me Nothing Series which follows the different leads of a band.
My intrigue for Reid's character started from book one. We never understood him but I wanted to read about how his mind works. The reasoning for his actions through the last three books makes perfect sense..
Reid is a character who is lost and resents himself but through the book he grows out of it all.. what a character development arc!
Aspen was a strong female main character, with just the perfect vulnerability. Loved the moments when she called Reid out on some of his behaviors..
The found family feeling was soooo present in this book and I was glad to read that the band found their way back to each other!
I loved this book! But I had some issues with the flow and connectivity between chapters..
This series has been a whirlwind of emotions and so entertaining and I'm thankful to have received an ARC copy!
After a lot of back/forth, I decided to give this a 3* review. The reason is that the main story in this book is not the romance between the main characters, but the romance between the MMC and his band. The romance between the FMC and the MMC had a lot of potential but was completely underdeveloped.
