Whoa! It seems the gig is up. Everything is out in the open - sort of. Willow knew she was treading a dangerous path and if she stepped wrong, things would go badly. That's exactly what's happened.
One thing I appreciated in this installment is that Willow shows some maturity. She's remorseful for her actions and wants to make amends. She shows some backbone - something we haven't seen previously. Yes, it took some...I don't know - guts? - to do what she's done but in other areas of her life, she's just allowed things to happen. Now she seems to be moving toward taking responsibility for her actions and taking back her life.
I also appreciated getting some insight into Ebon's past. He's been keeping his own secrets and we are finally privy to a little of his past. It's rather horrifying. And what's worse? It puts Willow in danger.
Teaching Willow: Session 3 was every bit as twisty and thrilling as its predecessors. But I think I found it a little more fulfilling now that things have derailed for Willow. (Does that make me a bad person? ;) I'm very anxious to see how it all plays out.
Omgoodness!!! So good! I need Session Four ASAP! The story is unfolding and truths are being revealed. Willow is starting to see the consequences of her choices and now she's struggling to keep hold of what she wants. This installment is intense and I can't wait to see how their story will play out!
Session Three is the game changer of the series. This is the one where things come to light and we are finally getting some answers. But with those answers comes a ton more problems. I feel terrible for Willow because the people in her life suck. They really truly do. I can’t entirely blame her parents for their reaction in the past, but I can blame them now and blame them I do. This session makes it clear that there is much more going against Willow and Ebon than we originally thought. These books are not for everyone, because there is some stuff that may make some uncomfortable and certain things may cross a line, but I’m just eating it all up.
HOLY EFFIN CRAP!!!! This series...I mean SESSIONS...just keep getting better and better... OH MY WORD the events that go down in this book are epic... Secrets are revealed...lives are changed...and the hottest sex scene ever was found in this book... YES!! I found the hottest sex scene ever...And I am not going in to details...BUT...*fans self* this scene...I can't even form a coherent thought thinking about it... AHHHHH!!!! Ok...ok...*takes a deep breath* I am gathering myself together to continue on... Teaching Willow Session 3 continues on the suspenseful journey of college student Willow Masters and I am extremely excited to have seen so much unfold in this session. We learn some extra back story and as I mentioned above..some intriguing secrets.. Willow has changed so much from the first moment we met her in Session 1 and I am proud to say I am liking who she is becoming. She is coming in to her own and taking a stand against the ones that THINK they know what is best for her. And Ebon?? Gah..that man is the epitome of a man. Just saying his name gets me all flustered... He has also changed so much and like Willow, I am liking where he is going... SQUEEE!!! I can only say, this session is probably by far my favorite and that is saying a LOT since I have loved the other two... *sighs* Now...how much longer do I have to wait for Session 4?? It's killing me.... If you haven't started this series..*shakes head* What are you waiting for???? HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
After reading Sessions One and Two and finding that each installment just got better, I have to say that I was a wee bit disappointed in Teaching Willow: Session Three. Despite feeling a touch unfulfilled when things finally hit the fan, this session continues to deliver as far as suspense and heat.
Let me just start by saying that Paige James has suspense down pat. Session Two was a total nail-biter and I could hardly wait for Session Three in which things would eventually come to a head. The thing that really stuck with me during this portion of the story though was Ebon’s reaction, or lack thereof really, to finding out the truth. Sure he physically reacts but there just wasn’t much emotion and he never really faces and deals with any feelings he has about the deception.
Ms. James also definitely brings the heat. Although there is not as much intimacy in the way of quantity, the intensity still burns just as hot and the depth that we plunge further into the history and narrative is a worthwhile consolation.
Fortunately just when you think you know all the secrets between Ebon and Willow you get a glimpse of Ebon’s past and a hint at just what this means for his future. I am definitely looking forward to learning more about the new developments encountered this session and can’t wait to see where this wild ride takes me.
Wow... this session was crazy....amazing. Couldn't put it down. I thought I had a clue but there is so much more to this story. And of course it just takes you into their world and become a part if it. I will be ready the day session 4 comes out. This is a must read series!!!!
Okay, so my gut was completely twisted up before I swiped to the first page of this session, because at this point we know things are about to get pretty ugly for Willow! It was an inevitable moment--when Ebon finally realized that the woman he’d been sharing crazy-hot passionate moments with was not in fact Sage, the twin he had mixed feelings about. I was bracing myself for a huge blowup of epic proportions, I mean there were just too many players for this to be smoothed over without a big mess first. But Paige James gives her readers more than simple dramatic flair, bringing in some deeper background for both Willow and Ebon that threw their fate into a tailspin.
Willow was on the defensive this time around, bracing herself for the moment that her newly returned sister ruined everything for her. Even though she’d mentally prepared herself for this since day one, her heart was so far lost in Ebon that there was really no protecting it from the crushing blow. That didn’t stop her from being the moth to the flame when it came to Ebon, easily being lured in for any time she could have with him. I of course won’t say how everything went down once the truth was revealed, but hoooooly leaves-me-panting-sexy, I love it when this professor lives out his fantasies!! The emotions for both of them were all over the place as the veil was lifted and they were able to truly see all of each other, but the physical connection could never be denied.
Between her accident, her parents sticking their noses in her life, and Sage’s triumphantly bitchy return (ugh, I wanted to punch this hateful wench!), Willow went from being a kitten backed into a corner to a ferocious feline out to take her stand at any given moment. Her family’s quick rush to judgment as her house of cards came tumbling down was infuriating, but at the same time I loved seeing her put them in their place. She’s finally coming into her backbone, not letting her past mistakes dictate what others think of her in the present.
Both Willow and Ebon had things to hide, and we learn the truth behind his secrets that were only touched upon in the previous sessions. His life and the choices he made gave him a different perspective on things, and how this and a huge jaw-dropping twist at the end will play out has me both nervous and so excited! So for now, here I am once again impatiently awaiting the next session to see just what the future holds for this torn couple!
Quotes:
Two things happen as my mother speaks. Number one, I realize that she has no idea that Sage is gone. Number two, I remember why I have this dark-cloud feeling hanging over my head. Sage. She’s coming home in two days. And my world will come crashing down around me. ~Loc 107
Even after all that has happened, I want her. Above anyone else, I want her. Sometimes it almost feels like I need her. ~Loc 671
I squeeze my eyes shut against the sting of tears. It seems I’m always near tears lately. I guess that comes part and parcel with being a selfish, lying bitch living a life of thoughtless deceit. ~Loc 966
Okay, so the suspense is definitely amped after this installment. The secret is finally out–at least that secret. Ebon knows about Willow. And Sage. And his ‘reaction’ to finding out has cost him his job–and possibly the woman he loves. Of course for Willow, she just feels so much guilt about Ebon losing his job, but she doesn’t know what’s about to happen.
I’ll say, for me, this installment was a bit stronger for me than the previous. I liked the reveal of the deception, and the way it was done was done differently than how I would have guessed–especially after Willow’s car accident. Bonus points for surprising me.
For me, I still wonder–does Sage know what Willow did? To the full extent? I still don’t think I’ve gotten that. Wouldn’t she be totally pissed?
We get a bit more of Willow’s back story, in regards to her past relationship, which ended with her being deemed “crazy” by her parents–making them incredibly worked up when they catch wind of what happened with Ebon.
As for Ebon’s family, I’m intrigued. Obviously, from what we read, we knew there was a reason he was hiding out from them for all this time–but I didn’t realize to what extent that was necessary. It seems they are the most depraved human beings, and now they’ve infiltrated Ebon’s life–the one that he worked hard to create, even if he thought it was all now falling apart. I’m not exactly sure why he headed home, not sure what he was hoping to accomplish with that conversation with his father.
Serials are working for me because of the time I have to read–I like that I can start and finish a book so quickly, and as long as I can get into it, like with these, they seem to be enough to keep my reading mood satisfied right now. So if you’re short on time, but still want to sit down and read something, I suggest serials.
Session Four, also the final installment, will be out in a couple weeks, and I’m definitely eager to see how this is all wrapped up. If you’ve not picked up these serials yet, I do recommend them. Each one is building, and I can’t wait to see how it all culminates.
3.5 stars So things are definitely heating up in Session Three of Teaching Willow with the big secret being revealed. I guess when this secret was revealed I expected more of a reaction from Ebon than what we got. Yes, he has lost his job because of it but I would have expected more anger from the deception than what was shown to us. I am also wondering what Sage's reaction to this whole thing was as I feel that I kind of missed it in this book.
Paige James definitely has the hotness factor working in these sessions with each encounter between Ebon and Willow getting better and better with each book. *fans self*
When things start getting more exciting towards the end, it's done and we have to wait for the next session! Grrr....
We do learn more backstory about Willow and I am definitely interested to learn more about Ebon especially with how this session ended! Ahh!
While this is my first serial and I am enjoying reading it in between other books because of the length, I almost wish that I could just have the complete story because as it starts getting good, it's done and now I have to wait for the next installment. I almost wish that I could get it in one shot because I do feel like the wait in between causes me to forget the impact the previous session had on me.
However, I am still captivated by the story and look forward to session 4! I WANT all the answers!!!

If you're a fan of erotic romance novellas and you haven't yet begun to read this series, I highly recommend you do so immediately. The drama, the characters, the sexual chemistry... it's all wonderful. I can't get enough of this series and the next session can't be released soon enough.
In the third session, secrets are revealed and characters' pasts come into play. I was downright shocked by the events in this session. There's a LOT more to Willow and Ebon than we originally knew and there's some darkness there. Despite being only 63 pages, this novella packed quite a punch. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen. I wanted to cry when it was over because I wanted, no, needed, more. Thankfully it won't be long until session four is released. I'll be chomping at the bit until I get my hands on it.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Love this series. Although there was a lot of revelations in this book, I feel that it was too much for a short book. I needed more of the connection between Willow/Sage and Ebon. Don't get me wrong...this book screams hotness like the other two! I feel so bad for Ebon when he gets struck with reality not just once, but twice. I also feel bad for Willow, as everyone sees her as this girl whose illness has resurfaced, when really is it just emotions that are playing havoc? Haven't we all done crazy things for love? We get more of an inside look into Ebon's life in this book, which brings up secrets of his own. This also leads to more drama and of course the good ol' cliffhanger. But hey, what would a Paige James book be without a cliffhanger and making you sweat for more?!?! Wouldn't have it any other way ;)
This is turning in to one hell of a page turner. This book just keeps getting better and better.
Willow has to be exhausted, pretending to be one thing and getting reality mixed with fantasy. This book takes a crazy turn, well more like insane twists and turns. Ebon's past makes a huge splash in this book. You meet some unwanted intrusions and it really "Blows" you away. She always gets us on the last page, drawing us in wanting more. I am on pins and needles wondering what is going to happen. AHHH!!
I know this is short and sweet, but I just can't give to much away in this session. A lot happens in this session that answers some or most questions. You will be thoroughly entertained and love this sessions. I am scared/nervous for how this next session will end...

Blurb: It started with waking up in a strange place. It ended with everything that I thought I knew coming into question. Now, I’m watching love turn into hate, bend turn into break and lies turn into truth that hurts worse than the deception ever did. Such is my life, The Wicked World of Willow Masters. (from Amazon) Release date: April 22, 2014
The whole lead up to the forbidden romance kind of fell a little flag with maybe not ALOT of drama or whatnot. But I'm not really complaining. We've gotten to learn more about their pasts, and all the skeletons in their closet.
I really and enjoying this serial novel and can't wait for what happens next.
