So of course we got us a classic shonen situation of Others-Fighting-their-Hardest-til-the-Main-Character-can-Arrive-and-Damn-does-it-Look-Bleak.
But we casually forget this is a world where teleportation magic is a thing and all-seeing seers are a thing, so the Black Bulls get to bringing their loud-mouth back from NOT!Japan.
However, as the kingdom is under siege by a powerful a-hole not just reviving the dead but realizing he can effectively clone himself, it's a hard fight for all involved. So. Many. WRECKED! Dudes!
But our anti-magic hero DOES arrive in the nick of time, and not only does he effortlessly beat the would-be-"righteous"-god, he discovered a nifty trick of infusing his own superpower-stopping power into the powers of his nakama. So when the crew's decked out in his darkness, they truly are THE BLACK BULLS!
MAN I LOVE THIS SERIES! WHY'D THE ANIME STOP?!

BATTLE! This was amazing!
Highlights:
- Acier, mother of Noelle and the rest of the Silva siblings, has become a paladin under Lucius and attacks Nozel and Noelle. Receiving a visit from Kahono, Noelle travels to the Underwater Temple and bonds with Leviathan, giving her a huge power boost and a Dragon Form to her Valkyrie Armor
- Yuno holds his own against Lucius, showing his amazing power. A slashing attack seems to defeat the tyrant...
- ... till he reveals he is able to clone himself and he gets up, attacking Yuno again
- The Black Bulls go to the Witches' Forest and unite with them and Dorothy, the Captain of the Coral Peacocks to form a Door of Fate, which will allow Asta to come back from Japan.
- Damnatio Kira attacks the Witches' Forest and the Black Bulls, but they refuse to give up.
- Secre keeps the Black Bulls alive with her sealing spells, though it is getting bad
- Asta finally arrives through the Door, bringing Ichika with him
- Combining Zetten with the Demon-Slasher Katana, Asta takes out Damnatio in one strike, showing how much stronger he has gotten.
- We get a flashback to Asta's training time, and learn how he was able to transfer Anti-Magic abilities to Yami's katana. Extrapolating that training he gives pseudo Anti-Magic abilities to all of the Black Bulls, allowing them to combine their magical attacks with Anti-Magic (THIS WAS FREAKING AMAZING!)
- Asta and the Black Bulls join the main fight area and cause much damage to Lucius' side, as he was unable to prepare for it all
- Asta and Yuno fight Lucius and his clones side by side, both claiming they will be the Wizard King when this battle is over. (I was cheering at this moment!)
- Magna and Luck combine their magics with Anti-Magic and create an attack that instantly kills one of the Lucius clones.
Where is Vol 37!? This is ramping up to be one of the greatest ends to a manga ever!
Strong recommend.

Je ne pensais pas l’écrire mais je retrouve enfin du plaisir à suivre Black Clover et pourtant la série a vraiment pris un mauvais virage avec ce dernier arc mal engagé qui s’étire et où on n’a pas ressenti la présence de ces méchants de carnaval. Mais peut-être que le passage de l’auteur à un format de parution moins exigeant l’a aidé.
En effet, la série change de rythme de publication et n’est désormais plus hebdomadaire. L’auteur peut ainsi prendre le temps, enfin, de se poser et d’arrêter de nous pondre des deus ex machina à tous les chapitres, ainsi que des méchants toujours plus méchants mais toujours plus creux. Ouf, parce que ça partait mal…
C’est donc un peu le tome de la transition et on le sent. On nous offre encore des développements sortis de nulle part, comme avec Noelle, merci les entraînements qui ont eu lieu en coulisses et permettent de justifier de sacrés power-up. Mais il y a aussi du beau retournement mieux travaillé avec le retour d’Asta et le partage de ses pouvoirs, que je suis ravie de voir.
La lecture s’est donc révélée pleine de punch, avec un beau partage du devant de la scène entre les différents acteurs, comme à chaque fois. Ce n’était ni trop court ni trop long à chaque fois. On a pu assister aux galères de Yuno, aux retrouvailles de Noelle, aux trouvailles des membres du Taureau noir, le tout avec panache et liesse. Je suis toujours fan de l’utilisation de nombre de tropes de l’héroïc fantasy et des RPG par l’auteur. Par exemple, j’ai beaucoup aimé les nouveaux pouvoirs draconiques de Noelle et l’intervention des sorcières pour dénouer la situation.
Je trouve en revanche, encore et toujours, que ça manque d’incarnation pour le moment. Le méchant ne me fait vraiment pas frissonner malgré ses pouvoirs déments. Je le trouve passe-partout et transparent. Face à lui, certains manquent de caractère. Yuno ne m’a pas du tout convaincu dans ce tome par exemple. J’ai l’impression qu’il n’évolue pas. Quand je le mets côte à côte avec les membres du Taureau noir avec ce qu’ils ont vécu et traversé, je le trouve encore « bien jeune ». C’est mon petit regret ici.
Mais quel bonheur que ce tome plein d’énergie, de souffle et d’envie d’en découdre face à cet ennemi dantesque. L’auteur reprend en main sa mythologie et son incarnation, remettant notre troupe de délaissés au centre de la plus jolie des façons. C’est plein de vie et ça donne vraiment envie de repartir au combat avec eux. J’espère que ce changement de rythme continuera à nous être profitable.

Capítulos: 365 al 368.

Me termine el anime en 2021 y desde entonces he estado siguiendo el manga, subiendo recién una opinión al estar poniéndome al día con todo. El contenido antes de esto es un magnífico 9, amo mucho la historia de Asta y los toros negros, no completando el 10 porque odio a Yuno ajsjaj.
En fin, centrandonos en estos pocos capítulos, tenemos a los toros negros cayendo a manos de un paladin, siendo Gauche y Grey los primeros, siguiendo mi preciosa Charmi, luego Zora, todo mientras mi preciosa Nero los ve, recordando sus 500 años maldita y el como no le importaba nada y sus deseos de morir, antes de ver a Luck y Magna caer, pidiendo que deje de lastimar a sus amigos, Vanessa también cae, culpando a Asta de ser el responsable de que siga viva, que tenga amigos y el haber recuperado su corazón, diciendo que nada tiene sentido sin él, gritando su nombre, waaaa, la primera vez que lo leí lloré, fue y sigue siendo precioso, y respondiendo a su llamado, ASTA REGRESAAAA, tocando su cabeza y avanzando al frente, Nero ve la sombra del rey mago en él.
En el país del sol, Finral transporta a Asta e Ichika, el niño emputadisimo transporta a todos detrás de él y corta de una al paladin, no mamessssss, gracias a Nero nadie murió y con ayuda de la reina bruja todos se recuperan, pero al gastar tanta magia le pide a Vanessa ser su sucesora, pero en su lugar lo toma la capitana de los sueños ajsjaj, Asta quien ha descubierto que puede otorgar su anti magia a otras personas, embulle a todos los toros negros en ella, SE VEN BIEN PERROSSSS, listos para la revancha, se proclaman los más fuertes y quienes van a salvar al mundo.
Yami se enfrenta a Morgen y pierde en fuerza, el inútil de Yuno esta a punto de perder y cuando Lucius esta a nada de dar el golpe final llegan los toros negros, OMG esta gente no se cansa de hacer entradas triunfales.
Ickika y Natch salvan a Yami y Asta al bestia de Yuno, para que el Imbecil niegue su derrota y proceda a decir la mamada de que él será rey mago. Ay no, ya duermanlo pleaseeeee.
Todo era perfecto hasta que Yuno apareció.

Alright! Finally caught up with the number of volumes released so far! And just two more chapters to be fully caught up!
The gang end up gathering all together for the big war. Oddly, but perhaps somewhat expected, none of the fantasy-Japanese join the war except for Ichika. She's the most important anyway, being Yami's sister, but still.
The evil Wizard King reveals he can clone himself, which... kind of makes some of the fights a bit more boring than they should be. It's like in the manga version of Dragon Ball Super, where that version of Infinite Zamasu is just flesh-and-blood clones. On one hand, it's like "Oh yeah, that's pretty crazy he can do that!," but on the other... well, it would be cooler to have more unique foes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow. This is getting insane, and I love it. The art is beautiful. Especially, the fights are drawn amazingly. The new magic, and anti-magic are crazy strong. In Black Clover, just when I think a character has reached their limit of strength, they surpass it.
I’m very excited to see Ichika’s reunion with Yami. I thought she’d be transported to him. But, of course, it probably won’t happen until all the way at the end.
This volume was recently released. I’m so sad I’m going to have to wait a long time to read the next one. The writer is slowing down with the amount of writing he’s doing. A few volumes ago, I think he said it was for “health reasons.”

...the suspense of this one got to me. We just came off of a fast-forward through the training arc and straight into what (hopefully) is the final fight as everyone is desperately trying to hold off Lucius's army while hunting for Asta. And they find him, but the teleportation magic takes a while over such a long distance. And everyone's getting hurt and potentially dying and-
Then Asta shows up and oh how the turntables!

There is nothing like reading this heart-pounding volume and this week discovering that the anime is RETURNING! Double decker goodness! Noelle versus Her Mother!!! And of course, in full on traditional story telling...the gang is holding out hope and holding off the forces until...a hero (ASTA) or if this was another manga series (GOKU) arrives. There are too many WOW pages for me to name my favorites, but I will say this volume leaves you angry! Angry no more are out to read and the waiting for release game begins! But...it was soooooo good!

Some really cool ideas and I do like they are bringing the witches back into it and I love the reveal about Dorothy as it fits and makes sense but she just comes out of no where. I like Noelle gets another power up and it is really cool as it is great that a female character in a Shonen story is able to be somewhat near the two male leads. I do like how broken the villain is becoming and I like that we are finally getting something that is both a power up but for everyone else.

Spettacolare!
Mi mancava così tanto leggere Black clover! Sono i manga che ti fanno commuovere e disperare i migliori! E quelli che sono più osannati (vedesi One piece e quella schifezza di Boruto) non lo sono più da molto molto tempo...una volta anche One piece riusciva a farmi piangere, ora è solo un ammasso informe di disegni.
Peccato che Black clover stia per finire. Spero qualcuno raccolga il testimone e ne sia all'altezza, così come Black Clover ha saputo esserlo per Fairy Tail.

This is the part of the story that I always eat up. Everyone's getting power-ups, everyone's kicking ass, and Asta's emotional return just makes me want to cry. This is exactly how to write a manga with a massive cast where you care about literally everyone. I may not always remember everyone's name right away, but I know I love them all.

This was a great volume, the battle gets super brutal and intense and everyone’s peak abilities are awesome to see utilized. The most important moment in this volume is a direct rip from Naruto unsurprisingly but it still has a strong impact. I have also really enjoyed reading tabatas interludes on his career as a mangaka etc

Impacta demasiado este tomo por la magnitud del conflicto y el nivel de sacrificio que asumen todos los personajes. Donde vemos a distintos capitanes de los escuadrones esforzarse y arriesgar sus vidas en combates que ya no buscan solo salvar al Reino del Trébol, sino al mundo entero. Uno de los momentos más emocionantes es el reencuentro de Asta con los Toros Negros, quienes van a buscarlo, reafirmando el lazo inquebrantable que los une como si fueran una familia. Además, Noelle pelea defendiendo a sus hermanos, mostrando cuánto ha crecido y cuánto está dispuesta a proteger lo que ama.

Black Clover, at this point, is my comfort read. It’s just so much fun, and in a sea of everyone taking themselves so seriously, that’s kind of what we all need. I am very happy that Asta and the Black Bulls have joined the fight, and I sense a climax fast approaching.
