A-13 is his official designation. As part of a highly skilled unit of government assassins called the A-Class, he's their best. Handsome, morally gray, and born of the highest caste, he has a job to

Will her friends be okay after she is gone? Joleigha, a capable and beautiful Mage, has fallen hopelessly in love with A-13. Zeta, fierce and determined, has put A-13 on her personal Kill List.
These women form an unbreakable friendship bond with one

Amazing read, it hooked me from page one and I literally could not put it down. Okay but can we talk about that ending?! What. Oh my god. I don’t wanna spoil it but…dust I NEED book two right now.....
This book was absolutely fantastic! 10 out of 10 recommend!
It drew me in from the very beginning and kept me awake, reading well into the night, leading to many consecutive nights of inadequate sleep, but totally worth it.
The author does such a wonderful job of immersing the reader in vivid detail in this new society the citizens now find themselves after the last great war. I felt as if I were watching the entire book play out scene by scene in my mind as I read along.
You truly feel the citizens' visceral reactions to the elite A-class forces from which they have been taught to hide, and the brutal handling by the government leaders of the unknown, because those same soldiers are the ones who have been tasked with eliminating every last individual with a gift. Deeply emotional connections to the main heroine, Aelle, as she finally comes into her own, yet remains true to her kindness and loyalty as a friend, learning to be brave with the help of her friends. Aith is another beautiffuly written and well-developed character. So many layers.
I loved Zeta's spunk and her lightness even in difficult situations.
Yet, hope always remains, as it so often does, even amongst the lowest caste members, which is truly remarkable.
This one is sure to bring laughs, a few tears, and here's hopin
I cannot wait for the next 2 books in this trilogy!
Wow! What an astounding dystopian fantasy! I absolutely devoured this novel! You need to add this to your TBR immediately! Run, don't walk! Gifted or Cursed?! Only time will tell. While Healers, Mages and Seekers are being hunted and murdered for their abilities, a rebellion group is trying to save as many as they can. When your government controls how you learn, how you play, how you fight and takes away free will, how long until you stand up against it?! This novel is not far from the truth of today's society, and there is no happy ending! Be prepared to be irate, sorrowful and terrified of what comes next. It starts with heartache and ends the same way! I'm dying to read the next master piece.
Reading The Mage Scrolls: Gift of Healer was like diving in to my favorite books in my younger years. This is an adult version of Divergent with a mix of Handmaid's Tale and Hunger Games. I absolutely LOVED the characters and world building in this book. The plot is well structured. the characters will make you question what is right and wrong. but for me, my favorite is Zeta! I adore her ferocity and feminine rage. I could imagine each chapter as another episode to explore. I love how tactical Aith is. I cannot wait to see how Aelle becomes stronger and powerful. I'm looking forward to book two. the cliffhanger left us during high stakes and I need more!
One of the most amazing dystopian fantasy books out there. If you like Fourth Wing, give this book a try! It compares to Fourth Wing and Divergent. And I am in love! Aelle is such a sweet, gentle heroine who is learning her place in an unforgiving world. A-13 is a morally gray hero, who you will absolutely fall in love with. Four and Xaden have nothing on him. I cannot wait for the next book!
I wasn’t prepared for how intense this story would feel. The Mage Scrolls: Gift of Healer carries a constant sense of dread that never fully lifts, and it makes every quiet moment ache. Watching Aelle step into a world designed to erase her was heartbreaking, and the friendships she forms are the only light in an otherwise merciless system. I felt the fear, the anger, and the desperate hope right alongside these characters. This book doesn’t soften its edges or promise safety, and that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. It’s dark, emotional fantasy that lingers long after the final page.
The Mage Scrolls: Gift of Healer absolutely wrecked me in the best way. Dark, tense, and emotionally ruthless. Aelle is soft steel, A-13 is deliciously morally gray, and the friendships are the only light in a brutal world. Constant dread, zero safety nets, and a story that sinks its claws in and refuses to let go.
This book is captivating. There is so much that Aelle and her friends have to deal with. The darkness is what brings them together. They not only have to fight and learn, but never knowing when the next Crack will be heard. They have secrets that can get them killed. It seems there are many ways they could die. The group must stick together.
