Part of the Mobster’s Obsession series each van be read as a standalone with a dangerous sexy and the one who captures his undivided attention. Fin sexy as all get out assassin for the Irish mob currently incarcerated for a crime, he didn’t commit serving in Tennessee it is almost his time to be released with orders from his boss also his father to find a woman to marry and then head to Oregon infiltrating and taking over another mob group by killing them all. Ava is a sweet with ulterior motives working as a nurse in the prison seeing the worst, the worst then worse come in her ward when one of the prisoners make an offer to pose as his fake fiancé head to Oregon with him but neither tells the other the reasons behind the agreement, and they each have their jobs cut out for them but keeping secrets may just be their downfall but oh boy, the adventures are just beginning the ups and downs they take us on but will everything continue to be as fake as it started out, will he do as his father commanded or was it start a war, will he keep Ava protected, will they be honest with one another as we know secrets don’t remain secrets and where are they headed to happiness?

Wow, I was absolutely astounded while reading this book, the story was written well and the characters were really captivating. I loved reading about Ava and Finnegan (Finn), leave town and move to Oregon as an engaged couple, the chemistry between them was hot and electric. There was a lot of twist and turns, family troubles and threats then she gets kidnapped now Finn is panicked that he won't be able to save her in time.

A fast paced, dark, twisted, and thrilling story.

Finn is at the end of three years prison sentence which he was wrongfully accuse of. He Cormac and Declan had committed a robbery where they got away with the crime. His brother Declan set him up by putting some guns in a bag and gave it to him and he didn't bother to check the bag. Declan then notified the cops and when he was coming out of the warehouse they surrounded him and find the guns and took him to jail. Declan then went to their dad lying and telling him that it was Finn who was smuggling his guns and stealing his money. His dad then pay off the cops to look the other way from Declan and focus all their attention on Finn making sure the case was air tight on Finn. Declan even killed their friend Cormac. Finn's dad were so wicked and evil towards him that he didn't even make sure that his son was protected in prison given the fact that he was an Irish mafia assassin.

He sold her sister Zoe to a human trafficker Shayne who was about to put her into the international human trafficking ring but was unsuccessful because Christian Herrera her husband and his sister Camilla saved her. The thing was he had sold her to two people Christian and Shayne but Christian had no idea of his underhanded game. Because he had sold her to Christian and their marriage would be beneficial for his cartel he decided to kidnap her after her dad back out of the deal.
Christian then forced her forced her to marry him and the two eventually fall in. Ava also found out that he was going to also sell her too. She can't understand why a father who was such a loving and caring could've done something so evil to his children. He got killed be Shayne for his double-cross in also selling her to Christian and allowing him to touch her virgin body. She knows that her dad is from Oregon and wants to go there to learn more about him and see if he had any left up there who can help her in her search. When she hears that Finn was going to there she asked him if she could go with him. But when he told her only if she was willing to be his fake fiancee she declined. However, she later changed her mind and decided to take him up on his offer. Christian went to see Finn a week before he was released from prison. He tells him that he had already protected him for the three years and that there's no place in Tennessee for an Irish mob assassin. He doesn't want him to stay there unless they would become enemies, and he doesn't want him in Georgia or Florida either because an assassin has no business disturbing the peace Jovan, Alessio and he have worked so hard to create.
Ava's father was the head of state in Tennessee and a dirty politician with his fingers in a lot of things and that is reasons for bargaining and selling his daughter to unsavory characters and the cartel. When the two crossed the lines on their way to Oregon when there was only one bed in the room. They couldn't help but to succumb to their desires and one taste wasn't enough even though kept on fighting it after that. When they got there Ava met a lovely artist at a local cafe who direct her to the last surviving family of her father. His younger sister name Courtney. As Ava learn more about her extended family Finn scoped out Cillian cartel to learn how to infiltrate it. He notice that Cillian security is very lax and his men doesn't really protect their leader. Because they were all drunk and were more interested in the women and booze. He paid some guys to attack them so that he could ran to the rescue of Cillian thus he wouldn't have a choice but to give him a job in his organization. However, it is not as easy as he thinks and Cillian is a man who doesn't trust easily. He also was very suspicious of his story of being a retired assassin and wanted him to prove himself by killing a couple of guys that he had been trying to get rid of. He gave him the pictures of the men and one of his trusted man Dawson to show him the ropes. He also tells him not to ever lie to him again.
As Finn works for Cillian he finds out that he was a much better person than his father and started having second thoughts on the job. But his father and brother kidnapped Ava to control Finn into doing what he wanted. But he and Dawson went to go and rescue Ava and kill his brother and his father. Ava was also given the closure that she was looking for as it pertains to her dad. She went back to Tennessee and tell her sister what she had learnt but it's going to take was time for her to recover. Because both she and Finn kept secrets from each other his family was able to get to her and had she tell Christian who she was going to Oregon with he could've looked out for her and watched Declan and his dad's movement to better protect her from danger. Finn decided to take a permanent job with Cillian organization because he love working in the mob plus that's all he knows. The two later got married when they went back to Oregon.

This is the fourth book in the “Mobster's Obsession Series” and the first book of Kira’s that I have read. It will most definitely not be the last - have to purchase the first three in the series to read! I thoroughly enjoy reading dark mafia romance books/authors and if her other books are as good as this one, I’m hooked!
Finn and Ava’s relationship starts as a business deal and very quickly develops into more. I love these two characters - things heat up very quickly. It is a beautiful love story surrounded by passion, heat 🔥🔥suspense, drama, intrigue, violence, family drama and friendship. The story has an range of people pivotal to the storyline that you will enjoy getting to know and where they fit in overall 😊
A thoroughly enjoyable read from one chapter to the next - at times you are metaphorical “on the edge of your chair” wondering what will happen next. You will fall in love with Finn and Ava, hoping that everything with work out for them and if they have a future together. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed 😊

Probably my favorite book in this series so far...
Books one, two, and three in this series have been awesome and I didn't think they could be topped. That was until I read this one. Book four, Exile and Embrace, featuring Ava and Finn. This story was action-packed. There are twists and turns that left me reeling. I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. The characters are great, and everything is brought to life so well that I could feel the emotions of them throughout this story. There were moments I was on the edge of my seat, moments I found myself clenching my teeth, moments that made me laugh, and cry, and of course, the steamy moments left me aching right along with them. It feels like a reunion and the main characters from the previous books show up in this story and it all makes perfect sense as they are all intertwined. Kira does an amazing job creating these dark and dangerous worlds while making the characters so likable (or unlikable--on purpose, of course). If I could I'd give this book more than the 5 Stars I gave it. For those who enjoy suspenseful, mafia, cartel books with steamy romance, I highly recommend this one!.

This is the fourth book in a series “The Mobsters Obsession” that is fantastic! We get to visit a lot, if not most of the characters in the prior books.
Finn (Finnigan) is our thirty two year old handsome MMC and he’s in prison in Tennessee for a crime he didn’t do. Although he is the assassin for the Irish mob. But he will be getting out soon. And…
His mob boss father wants him to find a women to be his fiancee, infiltrate the Oregon Mob. His dad’s got dirty plans.
Ava is our beautiful MFC. She is a nurse in the prison where Finn is incarcerated at.
They come to an agreement for her to be his fake fiancee and he lets her ride with him to Oregon. They each have an assignment to accomplish that they keep secret from the other…At first.
This awesome story is about second chances, everlasting love and found family.
The MFC has affairs with two brothers, so that’s not for everyone. Also very spicy but so well written it dosnt take over the story.

I have LOVED every single book in this series! Each book seems to be better than the last.
I loved Ava and was completely smitten with Finn! Finn, like the other MMCs in this series, was in the mob, and like the others, there was more to him. He obviously had a bad boy type vibe, but he was just so sweet with Ava! It was clear that he was developing feelings. Every time he said that she deserved better than him made my heart ache.
As much as I liked Ava, and there was plenty in this one about her and her father’s past, Finn was THE character! He was the one I couldn’t get enough of, the one I was rooting for, the character that, for me, really carried this story.
I do wish that Ava and Finn had had an honest discussion about her past with his brother, namely all that he’d done to her.

This was an amazing story that was emotional, suspenseful and original.
Ex con Finn was made to move to Oregon to infiltrate a rival Mafia to kill the leader, taking with him a fake fiance, Ava.
The danger and suspense was high in this story and always present on the fringe. Finn and Ava were a match made in heaven although their life was anything but. Full of secrets and lies made the drama all the more enticing.
This book held me captive from start to finish, and I loved that it didn't let me go till the very end.
Very well done, this book and the series are very much in my must read list. So so so good!!.

MUST READ! OMG this story was so fantastic. When I saw this book cover it has a sexy handsome man on the cover and it look like he will be trouble but a little fun that will go long for any young woman that he will run into. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was sensational intense. It was addicted and mind blowing. Finn ran into his brother's ex' girlfriend name Ava for a favor to help him and his father was the Irish mob and he was his son. Will Ava fall for Finn will this be her life right now. It has many twists and turns with them all. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed . I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones

This is Book 4 in the Mobster's Obsession Series by this author. It is an off limits romance between Ava and her ex-boyfriend''s brother Finn. These two flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. What starts out as a fake relationship turns into something more. It is a love story with drama and steam, danger and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

Wow. This book pulled me in at the very start and I couldn’t put it down. You will find yourself turning the pages and holding your breath. Finn and Ava are in a fake relationship. Will they be able to keep up the charade or will they be found out? This book is filled with family drama, secrets, suspense, action and chemistry.

I loved this story. Ava and Finn got off to a rocky start but it improves as their relationship continues to grow. She accepts the business he is in with no problems. His father continues to try and control his life but it's starting not to work. This author has become one of my favorites as she writes excellent plots with great characters that come to life for me. Please continus writing.

Ava and Finn are the main characters in this action packed story. Finn is about to get out of prison and he needs to prove himself to his father. Ava worked at the prison as a nurse and is Finn's brother's ex. Finn needs a fake fiance for his plan to work and Ava wants out of town. Finn and Ava end up being a perfect match and the story of their relationship and Finn's mission makes for an extraordinary read.

I knew this was going to be good when I saw it was a Kira Cole Novel! She is just soooo good at writing male characters, specifically MMC's who just adore the FMC and I loved reading every second of it. I could not put this book down at all! It was so good, at the end I found myself screaming at my Kindle for more! lol. This is definitely a must-read series if you have ever read a Kira Cole Novel. You wont be disappointed!

This book is amazing. It has everything you could want in a book. The characters are well thought out and mesh together. Everything flowed together amazingly great and turns you wouldn't expect. It keeps you interested in what's happening and definitely a page turner that I couldn't put down. I definitely recommend this book to ithers.

This is the fourth book in Mobster's Obsession series. This story was action-packed and suspenseful with unexpected twist and turns. It had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. Finn and Ava are fantastic characters. The chemistry between them is steamy hot! I highly recommend reading this and definitely look forward to reading more from Kira Cole.

I love dark Mafia romances and this one hits it right on the mark. It has all the go-tos. The MMC is hot, strong and loyal. The FMC is strong, independent and loving. Finn and Ava reunite when he goes to prison for a crime he was set up for. They travel to Oregon to start over. They fall in love but his family get in the way. They finally get their HEA. I recommend this book to all dark mafia romance readers.

The characters. The storyline. The twist. The spice! Everything was put into so much detail! The whole storyline was so very believable. Very mafia of course. The fare ride scene was probably a favorite spice scene haha.
I loved the twists for both Avas family & then fins family. Threw me off completely. Thgh I did kinda get a vibe when Becca & Cillian came over for dinner something was there..

Exile and Embrace is such a fun read! This darkly daring mafia romance has a twisted and engaging plot, highly dramatic and action-packed moments, and burning hot chemistry between the two main characters. I love how author Kira Cole formulates Finn and Ava’s story, the push-pull between the two keeps you on edge, and their chemistry is off the chain. This is a fantastic final book in this series; loved it!

Exile And Embrace gives us great characters with a great storyline full of excitement, danger, twists, turns and plenty of heat!
