I read this one for a challenge and I was completely prepared to hate it but you know what, I really liked it. Yes, it was based in a club but there were other moments and I was able to get involved with the characters without focusing so much on the BDSM aspect. The only thing that bugged me was that while I got so much back story on everyone, all of a sudden it ended and even though it was an HEA I felt like I needed a crumb more.

Comme Red Tacoma, le promoteur du club organise de nouveaux événements passionnants pour les membres du club, une jeune et sexy drag queen s'approche de lui pour lui faire une proposition afin de permettre au club d’innover.
Micah Turner, le jeune barman névrotique au « Seulement sur Invitation » n’a qu’une seule chose en tête ces temps-ci : survivre à son petit ami rendu fou de jalousie et à la violente dépendance de Greg. Quand il se porte volontaire pour jouer dans le nouveau spectacle de travestis du club, l'enfer se déchaîne mais les Doms sexys du club surveillent les reines et les maintiennent en droite ligne.
Heath n'a jamais été attiré par les hommes d’allure féminine, mais quelque chose à propos de Micah le beau drag queen, l’attire irrésistiblement. En tant que personnage populaire au sein du club, Heath peut juger nécessaire d'apprivoiser le jeune étalon sauvage et lui apprendre une chose ou deux.
Il n’y a pas à dire, Patricia Logan sait y faire. Non seulement avec ses personnages et leurs différentes histoires qui leur sont propres, mais également avec les cross-overs de toutes ses séries. Et c’est avec un grand plaisir que nous retrouvons non seulement Cade Littlebear, mais également – et surtout – Mav et son mari, Ricky qui fait ici son grand retour sur scène dans ce troisième tome.
Heath est donc un cow-boy du coin, qui était un véritable éleveur pendant des années et qui a dû renoncer à son plaisir de lier des corps masculins afin de reprendre l’affaire familiale après le décès de sa mère. Mais dès que son père réussit à vaincre la douleur de la perte de sa femme, il reprend son ranch en mains et Heath peut alors se tourner vers sa véritable passion : les hommes et les cordes.
Quant à Micah, c’est un travailleur acharné qui a été chassé de chez lui par ses propres parents et qui se trouve sous la coupe d’un petit ami rendu violent par sa dépendance à la drogue. Il l’a quitté ainsi que la Californie pour venir s’installer à Westburg, cette petite ville du Texas, et est devenu le barman en chef du club. Mais, Greg l’a suivi, lui jurant qu’il avait vaincu sa dépendance… Et Micah, lorsqu’il vivait près d’Hollywood a vu à plusieurs reprises le spectacle de la meilleure drag-queen de tout West Hollywood : un certain Ricky La Grange, aujourd’hui appelé Ricky Walker et qui vit pas très loin…
Quant à Red… J’espère qu’il va enfin être tenu en laisse !
Juste une petite chose : c’est vrai que c’est un plaisir de retrouver les personnages que j’ai aimé dans d’autres séries, mais dans ce tome, je trouve que Mav et Ricky ont eu tendance à voler la vedette à Heath et Micah qui m’ont parus un peu effacés en comparaison. J’aurais aimé que leurs personnages soient un peu plus développés.

He left him and California and to come and settle in Westburg this small Texas’s town , and became the head bartender of the club. But Greg followed him, swearing that he had overcome his addiction ... And Micah , when he lived near Hollywood has repeatedly seen the spectacle of the best drag queen of all West Hollywood : Ricky La Grange , now called Ricky Walker and who live not very far ...
As for Red ... I hope he will finally be on a leash !
Just a little thing : it is true that it is a pleasure to find the characters that I liked in other series , but in this volume , I think Mav and Ricky tended to steal the limelight from Heath and Micah who seemed to me a bit erased in comparison. Intense
The main character Red is an absolute jerk and I still feel that he needs to find his submissive side, but the series keeps pulling me in and wanting more!

I must admit I look forward to my dose of Patricia Logan.. She just does not dissappoint me.. And yet again she does it with Part 3 of the Invitation Only Series - Heath. Its like slipping on my favourite comfortable in leathers, strapping on my harness, grabbing my prized well used crop and falling into the world already known and treasured of Westburgh, and Invitation Only.
I love how these characters always end up being loved for who they are. The partnerships, no matter if it is a traditional D/s or a "normal" one, end up they with equality in the truest sense of the ideal, not same but each bringing their own into the relationship. There is give and take and it gives you hope that maybe these dont just exist in our mind.
I love the vast array of characters that Patricia brings to her books. Just as it seems she has settled into a formula, BAM we go off on a different tangent.. MIcah and Heath are gorgeous and screen meltingly hot new additions to the world of IO. Micah is the bartender at the club who can also belt out a mean Liza and Heath is a new Dom. Oh you dont want to miss this one In fact if you havent put this author on you TBR pile then you are crazy...

Heath is book 3 of the invitation only series, I think you could read it without reading the others since there is good backstory drop, but I believe you would enjoy it better if your have read the other two.
Heath is a new Dom at Invitation only. He is immediately taken by the pretty bartender Micah. When Micah is brought in for his demonstration he is ecstatic, until he finds out that Micah isn’t into the BDSM scene. When Heath finds out that Micah's boyfriend is a druggie he sees his chance.
I really liked this story. My only issue is I felt it focused more on Micah than Heath. I would have loved to have scene more scenes with Heath. Now having said that, I loved the drag show scenes and felt like I was there watching, and loved Ricky, Mav and Mams. There was a lot of characters in this story, though I love characters and all of these I think it was just too many for such a short story. I have to say Patricia Logan has a way of developing very intriguing characters, and writes some smoking hot sex scenes.
If you like sexy bartenders, hot cowboy Doms, BDSM, Drag Queens, knights in shining armour, and smoking hot man-sex this is definitely for you!

BDSM+COWBOY+DRAG QUEEN = HEATH. Un libro in cui questi tre elementi si incastrano alla perfezione. Patrcia Logan ha davvero fatto un ottimo lavoro anche questa volta. Oltre alla coppia principale, tornano a farci visita personaggi che avevamo incontrato nei libri precedenti della Logan ed è anche questo un elemento che amo dei libri di questa autrice, perchè anche se il libro finisce, la storia dei protagonisti va avanti, si evolve.
Non vedo l'ora di leggere il prossimo.

Wow.....Heath....He is one damn hot Dom.....We get to meet Ricky and Maverick in this one again....I love them both....Totally hot and Ricky gets to be a Drag Queen again.....Micah is the bartender at Invitation Only and Heath is the new Dom...There's an instant attraction between the two but Micah has a boyfriend and boy was he a a**hole....Seriously I did not like him....We get a glimpse of Red and Stix....I still don't like Red but I don't dislike him as much as I used to...This can be read as a standalone as the background is given fairly easily....but you really should read them all....You can't go wrong with Miss Logan's books...we even get a tiny bit of Michael and Tyler and Cade and Jake.....and the sex scenes between Heath and Micah are astoundingly hot x

As always with Patricia's books, I was excited to be reacquainted with her characters from other books of hers. I appreciate the chance to enjoy hot sex/BDSM with characters I already know, while Patricia as the storyteller allows a romance to develop for the main characters in their own time. I loved the increase of "Texas Twang" in this dialogue with Heath's talking. The side stories of Red/Stix and Ricky and his drag queen past added a wonderful dimension to the heat and drama of the story. I could and probably will happily re-read Heath's happily-ever-after again and again.

Well, Patricia has done it again! Another amazing read and I now have a favourite couple in the series. I loved reading about Heath and Micah. They are definitely made for each other in every way. I hope to read more about these two men. Loved the story, as always!

serie molto buona,forse la migliore della Logan tra quelle tradotte.
