Tercer y último volumen. "Tomoe" cierra bien la historia, aunque el nivel es tan alto durante todo el desarrollo que no esperéis un "subidón" final. Este último volumen me ha parecido que tira más hacia el género de terror que el resto. ¡Un manga recomendadísimo! ...excepto para estómagos sensibles.
En las páginas finales encontramos una historia independiente llamada "La frágil máscara de la amistad". ¡Impresionante también!

"Museum" es un manga que mezcla terror y thriller, que recuerda a mucho a la película "Seven" y en menor medida a "Saw", y quizá por ello no resulta muy sorprendente; aunque es una historia muy recomendable.
El final es cerrado, aunque queda abierto a dos posibles explicaciones para que el lector elija la que prefiera.
Los tomos dos y tres tienen unas historias extras que son independientes de la principal y no llegaron a interesarme del todo.

As the 3rd and final manga in the series we see the good detective trying to escape after being captured by the man that abducted his family. Unfortunately there is something about this ending although satisfying in one degree also felt weird considering how rational the detective had become just as a one bad decision would have created a much darker ending (which I can't talk about without spoiling it.)
But wait there is more after our tale of misery through artistic madness in an unrelated story about boys being boys as they go on a road trip that could easily have fit in the Twilight Zone when one moment of distraction locks them in all in a dark fate. Honestly it was this second story all contained in part of the volume that I really liked this book as much as I did. It was subtlety creepy when the characters each have to ask themselves how they will handle what has happened to them leading to a gory but unexpected ending (unless you knew their was going to be a twist like a J.J. Abrams movie.)

Jak dla mnie za mało w tej serii śledztwa, a a za dużo biegania ze spluwą. Kryminał nie w moim stylu, dodatkowo bardzo brutalny. Pierwszy tom zdecydowanie najlepszy.

Verán la misma reseña en las 3 entregas, ya que hicimos una general.
Para muchas fue el primer acercamiento al manga, y realmente no estuvo mal para empezar... fue una lectura de ambiente policial tipo thriller.
Era una historia algo entretenida, dividida en 3 volúmenes cortos, de rápida lectura, sin embargo habían muchas cosas predecibles y falta de plot twist, la primer entrega generó muchas expectativas y hace que se planteen muchas teorías, pero desafortunadamente la segunda y tercer entrega desmejoraron mucho y no cumplieron.
Consideramos que falta un poco de construcción a la trama, no es una historia mala, ni un autor malo, pero creemos que podría dar mucho más... el final puede darse a libre interpretación pero aun así no es muy claro, simplemente esperábamos algo más la verdad.
TW: Violencia explícita, crímenes, trastornos psicológicos.

Once you really get into the story, Museum gets thrilling. The first book isn't that good but if you keep going, it's worth it!
The "bonus" short story was interesting.
Ryosuke Tomoe's style is gory and he manages to build a creepy atmosphere to his work. I'd probably read another one of his, if I ever find one.

Es un buen manga, pero hasta ahí. Recae mucho en los clichés típicos del género, pero aún así cabe destacar que es entretenido de leer. Para mí, era una historia con muchísimo potencial, pero siento que este se fue diluyendo con el paso de los capítulos.
Recomendado para los que les gusta el thriller y el misterio.

Aaaah, j'aurais pu aller jusqu'à 4 étoiles mais je suis un peu déçue par la fin qui m'a laissée sur ma faim... Enfin, disons que la conclusion ne m'a pas convenu/convaincue (une impression de "tout ça pour ça" et de "je ne suis pas sûre de la façon dont il faut comprendre la fin, ni de l'interprétation finale du personnage), mais c'est un choix d'auteur, je respecte.
En revanche, les 2 petites histoires bonus dans les tomes 2 et 3 sont très intéressantes et illustrent vraiment bien, en quelques pages, le talent de l'auteur dans l'art de l'intrigue claque, qui ne laisse pas indemne. Ce qui m'a vraiment plu aussi chez lui c'est que c'est un auteur sans concession aucune. Ses scénarios sont du coup parfois durs, voire cruels, mais l'intérêt, c'est que c'est loin de se résumer à ça.
En tout cas, 3 tomes très addictifs, palpitants et absorbants, des page-turner très très efficaces.

Satisfying end of the story. (Almost) Everything concludes in few minutes. Some twist are predictable, but despite that, there are still some lines that are left opened for you to think.
Whole thing reminded me some of my favorite crime movies and series.
Bonus story is also pretty good, offering some nice twist at the end.

The good news is, Museum did in fact end. I had worries it would be one of those abandoned series that just stops without conclusion. We have conclusion. The other bit of good news is the third volume is pretty decent. While v.1 remains the peak of the series, it's not like the ending tanked on us or anything.
The bad news is, the ending feels rushed and convenient. And short. If you look at the page count (at least of the US digital edition), it's close to the other two volumes, but the final 1/3 is an unrelated short story.
The worst news is that while the ending is adequate, it's not at the level of the first volume. The first volume builds up so much, especially with the flair behind the antagonist's killings. He's elevated to the hallowed heights of a Michael Meyers or Freddy Kreuger-type of villain. Even better, he's fearsome because there is a sense of intelligence behind the murders--especially vis-à-vis his guided curation of the way his victims die. Yet this intelligent evil force gets his wings clipped in volumes 2 and 3.
Or maybe it's less about the antagonist, and more about the deus ex machina that brings about the conclusion. It's not a real deus ex machina, insofar as it's hinted at earlier in the volume (and to a lesser extent, v.2), but it does feel like a copout--a climax where the protagonist doesn't have to rise up and overcome.
Sure, reading through the end is fine. It's engaging and enjoyable. But ultimately it fails to truly satisfy. Turning the last page provides a sense of hollowness, rather than that giddiness that a good story provides. It's, "Hmm, ok." not "Oh wow!"

The ending confused me slightly, but other than that this was a good volume. Overall, this was a very strong and creepy series that reminded me of Seven, Saw and Silence of the Lambs. Dark horror here and not for the squeamish. The backup story here was good as well, although once again the ending confused me. (Maybe I'm just confused in general.)
So as a whole Museum was one of the stronger manga series I've read. If you're into crime/horror/thriller manga, this is definitely worth the time.

En serio? Ese final? De verdad?
Es una historia de thriller predecible y le falta un poco de construcción a la trama, no sentí plot twist, no es una historia mala pero creo que podría dar mucho más... el final creo que puede darse a libre interpretación pero no lo sé, simplemente esperaba mucho más la verdad.

Un thriller muy inquietante sobre un asesino en serie y el policía que intenta detenerle. Está muy bien planteado, la historia es fácil de seguir y enseguida te haces con los personajes.
Me recordaba mucho a Seven, por lo retorcido de las muertes y también por el ritmo tan cinematográfico (he tardado en leer los tres tomos lo mismo que se tarda en ver una peli).
También hay un par de relatos cortos incluidos que no están mal. Dan repelús sin llegar a asustar y tienen finales interesantes.
El final del manga también tiene su qué, con esas últimas páginas que te hacen dudar de lo que acabas de leer.

Nos encontramos con el final de esta historia junto con una mini historia que está muy bien y no te deja indiferente. El final del manga en sí creo que podría haber sido un poco más potente para mi gusto dejándolo con un par de páginas menos, pero en general bastante bien!

Este último volumen me ha decepcionado. Ha acabado de forma muy rápida y predecible. Además, un tercio del tomo era una historia corta que sin más, no ha sido nada del otro jueves.

Pese a ciertas incongruencias y conveniencias de la trama, este desenlace ha logrado convencerme. Es realista, crudo y tétrico, por lo que no desentona y deja una incógnita final de las que me gustan. Recuerdo que hace unos dos años, cuando lo leí por primera vez, lo odié, pero ahora me doy el lujo de rectificar mi propio criterio. Esta serie es genial en muchos aspectos, no solo por como trata y crítica muchas costumbres de la sociedad japonesa, sino también porque tiene un valor visual y artístico único.

IMPRESIONANTE. Tres tomos de crímenes, sangre, muerte, intriga y sorpresas. La historia te absorbe y no quieres dejar de leer, aunque haya momentos en que tengas que parar y coger el aire para poder pasar página. Como extra, dos historias breves de regalo en los tomos 2 y 3.

Budu hodnotit jenom závěr série, kdybych měl brát v potaz ten bonusovej nolanovskej rádoby cool a hlubokej shit na konci, tak by to musely bejt těi hvězdy.
Nicméně samotný Museum je super, celkem krátkej komiks a dokonce má i konec, kterej funguje. To jsem od mangy fakt nečekal. S klidem můžu doporučit.

Es entretenida pero no sale del canon del género thriller. No hay nada que genera sorpresa. Sawamura es el personaje típico de esta estructura narrativa, de igual modo el asesino. Creo que no llega al estereotipo pero es una obra muy bien contada, entretenida y nada más.
