I’m not very far in at all, I know, but I’m already annoyed by the writing.
There was a couple times, Already, where Celine said something, then contradicted herself immediately and then flipped back and did it again, all on the same page. And then it happened again a few pages later.
I just can’t.
It’s an intriguing storyline, with her being a supernatural, CIA, assassin and all, but I just can’t take the rambling and constant flip flopping.

Ok
Well, it took me too long to read this to rate it more than 3 stars. It's not a bad book but the pace was uneven, some parts were terribly boring and slow, and others more engaging but still...
It was a bit annoying how Celine was totally oblivious being the guys'mate🙄
I was waiting for a final scene where Celine confronted her mother and told her to f*ck up but it didn't happen and it was a shame..

Celine is a broken siren turned assassin, taking out those who deserve it. When she's out one night, she attracts the attention of a vampire that really wants her blood. She's forced to use another man, a werewolf to be exact, to get out of there. What she didn't know is he was a part of a misfit group that her siren's song is calling to. Are they all too broken to find happiness?
This was a new to me author so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as writing style, story telling ability, etc. But after reading Celine I can honestly say I'm not disappointed! I loved Celine's character and the bad@$$ she is. A broken siren kicking butt as an assassin? What more could you want in an FMC? Plus the misfit group she finds herself attached to all had interesting quirks that made the story enjoyable.
I wanted a little more plot development. While there was a story, I felt like it was an after thought to the character development (which is top-notch!) .

"Beautiful, smart and deadly."
First off, I love this entire series. Celine is pretty amazing! A Siren and wolf-shifters? Sign me up!!! I love that these books are out of the box type and mixed together so well.
Celine is a CIA agent for the Supernatural Task Force and also goes by assassin name the Songbird. Coming from a crazy mother, it has given her, her own set of issues of neglect. When she meets Bricks, Duce, Gears, Dino and Rabid by coincidence on a steak-out, she never intended to feel the way she does about them.
Soon, they are feeling ALL the feels, even if they don't all want to admit it. Their wolves are calling her Mate, but Celine is un-mate-able... at least that's what she thinks. When she is trying to discover who the moneyman is for the newest cartel, it sets them up on a path with a psycho Vampire no one saw coming.
Will they be able to keep Celine safe when they don't know the whole story? What is Celine going to do when she realizes the men, she is falling for are calling her mate?
This book was great! I loved it and was sad that it ended. I didn't want to stop turning the pages. The steam was sexy and I could have read it over and over again!!

I love a good stand alone. This one is solid. When paranormal and motorcycle club are combined together it can be hit or miss. Celine is a hit. I loved how detailed the author got describing Celine’s siren abilities. Everything was well thought out and well written. Celine’s men were all fleshed out individuals, with their backstories and characters distinctly their own. Overall, I recommend this book.

After reading Nicolette by Elizabeth Knight (one of the books in The Ladies of the MC series with this one) I was dying to get my hands on more books in this series.
Celine's (FMC) book was a brilliant addition to it. Siren Celine is very much a loner in not only her job but her life too. With no support from her own mother the only ones that she count on are the people that work with her. For me this book started to grip me when she became entangled with the Moon Raiders MC. Which she seemed to fit right in their nicely with her wit, strength and overt sexuality. It was great dynamic that she had with the guys who all had tragic backgrounds stories and anxieties. That in itself made for a tearful read. I enjoyed reading this book and i really liked all of the main characters too. Bring on more books in this series because loved each book Ive read so far.

When she out scouting for a job she meets Duce and Bricks who are biker werewolves who are there to discuss a possible business merger with some vampires. They save her from a vampire caught in the throes of blood lust and taker her to they’re compound. They agree to work together to bring down the vampires.
Soon the leaders of the club, Gears, Dino, and Rabid, feel a pull toward her.
This is a very spicy who choose that also has a lot of plot.

This was a fun read. Celine is a strong leading lady. She has her own demons and past that she struggles with, but so do the boys. The characters grow into themselves and their life while still inherently accepting the truths of their pasts.
It’s fun. It’s flirty. It’s dangerous!

Overall, I enjoyed the story and the MCs. For me though, the writing was a bit amateurish, and pulled me out of the story multiple times. There were repeated words and phrases that should have been smoothed out, and some of the dialogue was a little too over the top.
I struggled with my rating because the overall story and plot was really good, but some of the writing let it down. Because I still enjoyed it overall, I'm rounding my rating up instead of down.

Perfect, but got a little lost at the end.
This ticked all my fav boxes.
*snarky humour.
*fast paced action (some).
*sensual before overloaded sex (in the beginning).
*awesome alpha’s who don’t cross the line (except for tiny-tiny moments).
*strong woman, who makes the decisions, not her vagina (mostly).
*insta lust, not Insta luv.. 👏
*perfectly flawed hero’s (the FMC needed a little less special snowflake perfect).
I confess, I tend to skim most sex scenes, after you’ve read the first, the rest often sound the same.
Just like real life, once you’ve crossed into that territory, they don’t bother to seduce too much in the following scenes 🥸😂
Lips, breasts, groin… 🙄🥱
After the 2/3 mark, we spend a LOT of time on the sex.
Sadly, not as much time on the catalysis ending. It was all sorted fairly quickly, easily, and predictably.
Still highly enjoyable for the most, but could have dropped an orgy or two, and filled out the narrative more.

The bite scene didn’t need to be all grouped into one giant orgy, where I couldn’t figure out where each body part fit where?? 6 in one bed 😵💫🍌🥸
The narcissistic elements were really well done at many points, then sadly glossed over when it inconvenienced the plot. I didn’t want a whole lot of drama and OTT angst, but it needed more of a journey to get over. The FMC was particularly too emotionally healthy considering, a little too perfect at it all, better and more than EveryOne, until the big dramatic moment was needed.
Authors need to consider putting those in at other times, rather than some fix-all plot device.
(Closer to the start, have them realise the importance many chapters later? Force a character or two to get crazy, therapeutic, psych counselling, rather than being so all too cool for school? Just some ideas to throw out there…)
Loved many of the messages within, only disappointed a couple of times, notes in the highlights.
Will be looking up some more from this author. 🤞🤞🤞📚🙏🍀

I really enjoyed this book!

I really loved the storyline in this book and how all the little details throughout wrapped up nicely in the end! I liked all the different characters and how each one brought something different to the group, making them the perfect family for Celine!

Great fast-paced standalone with some action and humor. This book is hot and sexy, especially in the last 2/3!
The plot is interesting, the characters flawed. I love how different each love interest is! Each one is their own person, with their own past, traumas and fears, all are very distinct from one another.

Celine is a book in The ladies of the MC. Celine is a siren and female assassin which is such a cool idea and I have read anything with sirens before and this was a great first book to introduce me too.
Celine works for the paranormal branch of the CIA and unfortunately runs into a vampire while doing recon and the vampire gets a small taste of her blood and sends him into a blood frenzy and Celine runs into some members of the Moon Pack and they help her escape. I love how each of the characters get their own chance to speak and we really get too see how these men and Celine come together with a common enemy and how both Celine and her men are broken but even broken people deserve live! Great story with amazing action and even better steam

Celine by Kira Stanley was amazing! I fell so hard for Celine and her mates!! They were all broken in different ways but together they were whole, like the perfect pieces to a puzzle. I was quickly sucked in by Celine’s whirlwind personality, light hearted jokes and the fact that Celine is just a firecracker.
Celine and her men do have some secrets that are slowly leaked as the story develops and there is one in particular that floored me. I did not see it coming and haven’t fully recovered from it.
All of that being said this is a fantastic read and you will enjoy every twist and turn of this book, as much as I did. Kira knows how to make page turning books and keep her reader’s attention. Read this book, trust me, you will definitely not regret it!

Great Standalone
The female lead character was described perfectly. She was open, never lied, cared about others, super talented with knives and fighting. She connected to most of the guys immediately. One held out but it was his fear talkin. I hoped that she would sing to the bad guys and realize the guys were all her mates. She deserved a bit of payback against her mother the queen of the sirens. Unfortunately, it came out at the end after her fight with the crazy vampire, and there was no mother in sight. I’m so glad she was able to help the guys while also helping her own agency. She was honest with them from the start even if she left out some secrets as they weren’t hers to tell. I’m so glad she got her happy ever after.

Steamy, suspenseful, and full of surprises!
This book had be enraptured from the get! Not only are you quickly enveloped in the whirlwind personality that is Celine, but you're sucked into her world of dark intrigue and light-hearted jokes. Celine is a firecracker, and I want so much more of her!
Not only that, but as the story develops, Celine's secrets slowly come to light, along with the MC boys', but the biggest secret of all was the one that knocked me out of my chair. I did not see it coming and it only made me hate said person even more than I did.
This author really knows how to spin a tale that will keep you turning pages! Give this a read, you won't be sorry!

Celine by Kira Stanley was fantastic! I fell hard and deep for Celine and her mates, all broken in their own way, but together completely whole. This story was beautiful, heartbreaking, action-packed, full of love and lust…there was just SO MUCH to love! This story was original and captivating from beginning to end. I feel in love with the characters and their own stories, the plot line that have be consumed completely, and just the emotions that Kira Stanley brought out of me with her words. My review cannot even begin to do this story justice…I just loved every moment, every word, everything!!! It’s a must read in my book <3

I really enjoy the writing style, it grips you and takes you on a wild journey with a bada$$ FMC and her men. Everyone comes from a hard background and feels like they're broken and it's beautiful to watch how they grow together. My favorite character is Bricks, he's so sweet! But the others are not far behind.
So, if you like rh, paranormals, action, witty banter and strong (and sassy) characters mixed with a good and 🔥 amount of smut, this is definitely a book for you! It's a standalone in a shared MC world with a couple of other awesome authors.
I was allowed to read this book before others and am rating it because I want to.

I’m loving all the books in the Ladies of MC series. This is another one in it. They are written by different authors. Celine is a siren. She left her home on Siren Island. She works for the supernatural Devision of the CIA. She is their trained assassin. On her mission she had a run in with a vampire. She finds help from a couple of wolves. They are part of a MC. They bring her back with them. Most of them enjoy her company. She over hears them taking. She tells them she can help them. Will the be able to help stop the vampire from getting Celine? Will Celine help the MC with their mission? Read the book to find out.

I am loving this series of books! Celine is a siren who thinks she's broken because she didn't find her mate in a ceremony when she turned 18. She turned to joining the CIA and becoming an assassin. While gathering information about her next target, she winds up under the protection of a pack of wolf shifters. Celine is attracted to the different members of the pack for different reasons. They figure out they can help each other out, so they work together to take down her next target. In doing so, she discovers what she's been missing since she exiled herself. The guys all satisfy her and care for her in their own ways. Their chemistry and spice are so hot and yummy!

This book was everything I was expecting and more!!! I absolutely adored Celine she is an assassin Siren who is a little broken and looking for her people even though she doesn't know it. I loved getting to see her meet the guys and how different each of them was. I COMPLETELY have a soft spot for Bricks! This had amazing world building and characters that were fun and sassy and kept u entertained. I love this world and can't wait to read more!!! This is a MUST read in my opinion if u love PNR MC romance.

Celine's Story
Filled with lots of action, humor, steam and more!! This book moved quickly, keeping my attention.
I loved Celine! She was strong, intelligent and even funny at times. She wasn't without insecurities, but she was still confident.
Rabid, Dino, Gears, Duce and Bricks, I loved each guy. Duce and Bricks were probably my favorites.
Celine, fit in perfectly with them. She offered something for each and visa versa.
You'll find spicy scenes throughout and they were so hot!! 🥵 I thought they were the perfect, imperfect family.
What a fun and delicious ending!

This book is amazing! it’s action packed with phenomenally written characters and a storyline to die for! I loved how Rabid built the perfect pact of misfits and broken wolves I was also happy that even though they are an MC they really only deal in protection which is perfect for their pasts. I also loved how each of the guys Duce, Bricks, Gears, Dino and Rabid were broken in different ways but molded perfectly with Celine. she came in and was perfect for each of them. their stories and the storyline were perfect and I was so enthralled by everything I never wanted the story to end.

What a Fantastic Read!!
This is a new to me author and I am hooked!! The action was amazing, the steam was a level 10 fire alarm and watching the characters who all had their broken parts come together as a family in such a satisfying HEA was the cherry on top. I was looking for twists and bombs everywhere because I could just feel something was coming - I can’t wait to check out this author’s backlist and devour those as well! If you like Burn Notice, MC books, PNR, or books with action and steam this is definitely the book for you!

Omg I’ve been waiting to read this baby, and Kira Stanley did not disappoint! I adore Celine and her BAB mentality.
Celine is a broken siren turned assassin, add in her quirky nature and you can’t help but fall for her. Her harem is the guys from the Moon Raider MC and their individual tragic backstories, will have you’ll in a pool of tears and emotions. But the spice will make up for it 🥵
I loved this story so hard, and I can’t wait to read the next installment from K.S. She’s been a 1-click author for me from day 1.

This storyline was so good. I love a good shifter romance anyway and the fact that you had an MC group of shifters and the FMC being a siren, made for an excellent plot. I also loved the fact that Kira made this book inclusive. You had Gears who I would classify as ADHD and then Bricks who could communicate only through sign language and it made my heart swoon! Also, let's have a moment for that hot as hell scene in the gym between Dino & Celine! Yes, please. I was anxiously awaiting Rabid to come around through most of this book and when he did, man was it worth it. Great read!

Kira Stanley’s third book in her Ladies Of The MC series is simply fantastic. The excitement never stops. This novel has all the elements you could want in a suspense romance. There’s supernatural assassins, shifters, misfits, mystery and unexpected twists and turns. Never a dull moment. Even though this is part of a series it can be read as a stand-alone. This is the first time I’ve ever read anything by this author but it certainly won’t be my last. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!

I enjoyed this one. The FMC has all the qualities that let her excel in her field of expertise and her unique traits make her one of a kind for sure.
Sirens are rather fascinating creatures and now that I think about it, I have not come across many books with those fabulous mythological creations. I am pleasantly surprised as I have read another series by this author where I struggled a bit with the main heroine, so I am so glad that this time, the FMC was absolutely lovely.
Loving this MC world so far and really looking forward to reading more.
