Fairy Godmother Inc. is a secretive organization keeping the forces of good and evil in balance with true love’s kiss.Charlie, a disparaged Broadway star, finds herself stranded on the side of the road in the sweltering southern heat when a mysterious gentleman gives her an offer she can’t refuse. Fresh off a breakup, she dives right into a top-secret mission with a new identity to match. She’s given one no matter what, Julius, the sexy commander of the sky colonies, cannot discover what she’s doing. Will she succeed in keeping her secret, or will she give in under his icy blue gaze?
Out of the series Charlie is my favourite FMC. But let’s not forget DOLLY. She had me laugh crying I swear. This book was so funny and so good and the ending was beautiful. I really love the era that it is set in as well!
I am completely in love with these books. They are so fun & the endings are always a little different but also have the HEA! This one was great! I loved to see Charlie get her happy ever after even if she had to work really hard to get it. She is a force to be reckoned with and she gave Julius a good look in the mirror!
Crystal Commander is set in a world where the old west meets steam punk. We are sucked into another epic adventure, this time following Charlie. Will she win the heart of the man she's been sent for or will someone else steal her heart? Guess you'll have to read to find out.
As always FGI doesn’t disappoint. This one was a victorian-wild-west-terminator-movie kind of thing. The suspense was insane. The dialogue’s hilarious af. Love how confident and sassy the fmc always are. It’s like saying “We are women, we know our assets and we aren’t afraid to use them”. No shaming, no disrespect. Just being comfortable in your own skin. For the mmc, they are the perfect mix of hot alpha men on the outside and respectful protective gentlemen on the inside. It was exciting. It was side-splitting (thank you Dolly, you are the bestest). And, of course, it was steamier than anything but as always in a very pleasant way.
This series has me hooked. Love the basis of the book. The characters are all so interesting. Can hardly put it down. The only thing that annoys me is a few grammar mistakes here and there. Overall an awesome series. Hope it doesn’t end anytime soon!
FR Black has this magic way of bringing the characters and worlds to life, and this book is no exception. The way she writes has you hooked from page one and takes you on an emotional journey from there.
A little different since the main mission was Louis, and the main character Charlie falls for his bad boy brother Julius. So then this story becomes one about them instead, and Louis is a side story with another FGI agent, Star. It was a weird world this time, technology, but old west, industrialization vibes as well. Horse riding, gun slinging, and railroads. This time Charlie also had to deal with an artificial heart which wasn’t compatible with Julius’ making that part of the story weird, but brief. Half the time I didn’t know if Julius truly loved Charlie or just lusted for her. He even repeatedly says he needs to stay away from her because he can’t think straight around her. But suddenly I’m the end after a three day absence he comes back all in. So HEA.
FGI does it again balancing the universal scale of right and wrong by bringing love to powerful men in need. Of course love the magic problem solver. Mechanical heart powered by a stone that everyone wants. This is FGI where girl power, perfect skin and big boobs win the heart . Totally silly but cute reads.
Futuristic beautiful Makes me want to be a Fgi I agent Sign me up. It's kind of cool that there were two winds in this one. Bring up another 4 the little girl future too
I have read all 8 of these books (on Galatea) and I think they are truly underrated. Commenting on this one specifically as it was one of my favs — but part of me is hoping the author sees this and keeps writing.
I loved these books. Genuinely such a cool concept and I couldn’t wait to read about the next world.
2.8⭐️’s. This was my least favorite so far. I liked that the focus of who falls in love was different than the first 2 books, but I just didn’t care for the world. I don’t feel like it was fully developed to really capture the vision. The story line was decent but idk, it just wasn’t it for me.
I love the author, her books are amazing . Already read it all twice. 5 *. Stories with humor, action, drama but not much, romance and very spicy 😜. Everyone should read it all. 👍👍👍🥇🥇🥇
I am addicted and will most likely cry when this series ends. How this author puts so much information into a short 34 chapters just blows my mind! And these characters… oh Jules - wow!!
This is book #3 of the fairy godmother series. And I absolutely loved it! I thought the heir of the beast was my favorite. But this one is my new favorite. I love the sassy independence of Charlie. Her agent is by fair my favoring agent. She’s just slightly crazy lol. I highly recommend this series.
