What a great finale to this story. The action was going full force ahead with multiple battles going on so your eyes were never tired. I especially love the hulk and thor fight which was sprawled over multiple locations. Seeing action in this retro style was a pleasure. A good end cape to the lesson on why things got so bad, inaction or the feeling that only one person’s action caused this outcome; however, if we come to together and keep each other accountable that brightens the future. It exculpates what it takes to be an avenger and the scene in the epilogue literally made me emotional. It was a touchy but humorous way to end the story.

This concluding issue - much like the rest of the series, has been firing on all cylinders. There's a lot to unpack and first-reads will not to the series justice. Akin to Civil War between the Avengers, this remix featuring their aged versions in a society that distrusts them has multiple events and character storylines happening simultaneously. While this may have been the last issue it does not wrap up what happens next for all the characters shown.

Great, goddamn amazing conclusion to an astounding series, literally everything I could have asked for and more. Totally epic in every capacity. I'm really impressed I was tricked into loving an Avengers run of all things, and in the space of one night! This is next level quality shit.

Did not end on a high note. This series was readable, but pretty bad. Maybe I would have liked it more without the new Ultimates to compare it again. But this just pales in comparison.
