Historical inn owner Rachael McCoy has one simple rule: Don’t date guests. Ever.
After having her heart broken by a string of sweet-talking visitors, Rachael has learned her lesson. But when dangerously sexy rock star Cole Turner rolls into town and rents every room in her hotel, she starts to rethink her rule. Cole’s a rumored playboy with a sordid past, yet his touch is sinfully sweet…
Rock star and self-proclaimed sex god Cole Turner lives by a simple decree: There are no rules in love or rock and roll.
One week after botching his performance in Houston, Cole needs a quiet place to regain focus. All he wants to do is lay low and nail his two-concert show outside of Blue Lake, though a hot and heavy fling with the seductive innkeeper wouldn’t hurt. But the stubborn little vixen denies his advances, and the more he gets to know her, the more he’s determined to make her his.
As desire flames into something more intense, will the two unlikely lovers be able to bridge a gap to happy ever after?
New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Kristin Miller writes sweet and sassy contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and paranormal romance of all varieties. Kristin has degrees in psychology, English, and education, and taught high school and middle school English before crossing over to a career in writing. She lives in Northern California with her alpha male husband and their two children. She loves chocolate way more than she should and the gym less. You can usually find her in the corner of a coffee shop, laptop in front of her and mocha in hand, using the guests around her as fuel for her next book.
This was a very good book. I didn't want to put it down. I would definitely recommend this book. If u like the crazy, upsn downs, falling in love story, this book is a must read.
#regrets. That's how I feel about this book. Regret that I read and it and regret that I paid money for it (even if it was only $2 or so).
This book is what my sister and I refer to as a 'stinker'. I didn't really like the writing - I found it fairly basic and unoriginal. Small things like word choices annoyed me too. For example Rachael kept "screeching" when she was annoyed which I don't think is quite the image the author would have wanted to paint for our 'heroine' - unless she was meant to come across as an unreasonable shrew? And did anyone else find it a bit seedy/unprofessional Rachael always slept with her guests at the inn?
Looking back my review seems a bit harsh. It wasn't all bad if you want to check out of your life and read some fluff. Cole seemed like a nice enough guy. But just know that you can do better.
Rock star Cole Turner needs a quiet place to relax. What better place than a quiet B&B in Blue Lake. Rachel enjoys the thought of not having to be there every moment and having a night off to date the guy she's liked since she was young. But things get a little shaken up and things do t go as planned.
This story was longer than the others. Very enjoyable. There were sexual situations.
While I know it’s a part of a series (each book following a girl in the same friend group), it felt too similar to “Let Me Love You.” Cute story and a quick read, but predictable.
This one had me fully engaged in the story/characters right from the first chapter. LOVED this story!! Kristin Miller's CRAZY IN LOVE is about Rachael, a kind, beautiful, nurturing small town innkeeper who steals the heart of Hollywood sexy as sin, rock-n-roll bad boy and die-hard bachelor, Cole Turner.
Cole comes to Blue Lake to do a couple concerts and sneak in a little relaxation after an exhausting tour. He rents out Rachael's entire Inn to make sure he gets the break he needs. The last thing he's expecting is to find his innkeeper completely irresistible. He doesn't know what to think of the fact that she so effortlessly sees to his every comfort while resisting his charms. Women usually fall at his feet, but Rachael forces him to up his game. Rachael in the mean time has learned her lesson and no longer gets involved with guests. They always eventually leave and take a little piece of her heart with them. Cole is the hottest, most sensual man she's ever met and he sparks a desire in her like she's never known before, but she fights him all the way to protect her heart. End result? Well of course they fall Crazy in Love!!!
This was a very sweet romance and my introduction to Kristin Miller. I highly recommend this book as well as the series. You won't be disappointed.
Rock star and self-proclaimed sex god, Cole Turner, rents out every room at a historical inn. After botching his performance in Houston, Cole needs a quiet place to regain focus and the inn is perfect for what he has in mind. He needs to lay low, regroup and nail these two concerts near Blue Lake...he needs his mo-jo back. Speaking of nailing...he wouldn't mind doing that to the seductive innkeeper, Rachel, as well. Cole has one simple rule to live by: There are no rules in love or rock and roll.

I really enjoyed this story. I liked Cole and Rachel’s characters and I found this to be a sweet love story. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
The story was not only well written but had ALL of the characteristics that I check off when in the mood to read a good Contemporary Romance:
• One or more HOT alpha bad boy • Hot chemistry between heroine/hero • Likeable heroine/hero • Good story line • Complete story - no cliffhanger!!
Pretty good fluffy read. It was sort of weird how most of the story only took place over a weekend, so they were super in love...in like 2 days. I still really enjoyed it, inn keeper and guest falling in love is a pretty classic storyline. I'd read more by this author, I see theres lots of other blue sky characters that need happily ever afters :)
I wasn't super crazy about this book. The plot and story line had potential, but the character development was flat. There was so much missing for this book to make it great, it just felt incomplete.
Sweet little love story, Cole Turner is a rock star, but he seems more like a country singer. He has book up all the rooms at Rachel McCoy's inn in Blue Lake, a small quiet town. The story moves quickly and I love the songs he writes for her. Very romantic
Great story with good characters. I loved the romance and the way the hero and heroine interacted. There were a few minor editing mistakes but not enough to draw me out of the book. One of my favorites of the series.
This is a nice and very sweet little Romance. The two main characters seem to be quite normal and believable. There are no heroes or dangers just a lot of feelings, doubts and lust. It was an enjoyable read.
