요시다 슈이치 장편소설. 2011년 8월, 하치오지 교외에서 발생한 부부 참살 사건. 피로 얼룩진 복도에는 범인 야마가미 가즈야가 피해자의 피로 쓴 '분노'라는 글씨가 남아 있다. 살인사건이 발생한 지 1년 후, 이야기는 시작된다. 성형을 하며 계속 도피 중인 범인 야마가미는 지금 과연 어디에 있을까? 수사는 교착 상태에 빠지고, 지명수배가 내려진 범인 정보는 매스컴을 통해 이따금 보도된다.
그런 와중에 지바 어촌에서 일하는 마키 요헤이와 아이코 부녀 앞에는 과묵한 청년 다시로, 도쿄 광고회사에 근무하는 동성애자 후지타 유마 앞에는 게이 사우나에서 우연히 만난 나오토, 엄마와 오키나와의 외딴섬으로 이사해 민박 일을 돕게 된 고미야마 이즈미 앞에는 다나카라는 남자가 각각 나타난다. 그들은 하나같이 과거 이력이 불분명한 미스터리한 인물들이다.
한편, 범인 야마가미를 추적하는 수사와 매스컴 보도는 계속되고, 새로운 정보가 나올 때마다 일본 전역에서는 정체를 알 수 없는 젊은 남자들을 둘러싼 크고 작은 파문이 일어나는데, 이들 세 남자와 함께 생활하는 사람들의 동요와 의혹도 점점 더 깊어져만 간다. 이들 세 남자 가운데 누가 과연 부부 참살 사건을 일으킨 진범일까?
각각의 상황에 놓인 사람들은 정체불명의 상대를 믿고 싶은 마음과 갈등하면서도 끝내 경찰에 신고하거나 추궁하고 만다. 그런 과정을 통해 밝혀지는 범인과 결말, 끝내 밝혀낼 수 없는 '분노'의 정체와 인간의 양면성이 파워풀하면서도 섬세한 작가 특유의 필체로 묘사된다.

He won the Bungakukai Prize for New Writers in 1997 for his story "Saigo no Musuko", and the Akutagawa Prize in 2002 (the fifth time he'd been nominated for the prize) for "Park Life". In 2002 he also won the Yamamoto Prize for Parade, and for winning both literary and popular prizes Yoshida was seen as a crossover writer, like Amy Yamada or Masahiko Shimada. In 2003 he wrote lyrics for the song "Great Escape" on Tomoyasu Hotei's album Doberman. His 2007 novel Villain won the Osaragi Jiro Prize and the Mainichi Publishing Culture Award, and was recently adapted into an award-winning 2010 film by Lee Sang-il.

Finito tra le lacrime e amato alla follia. Yoshida Shūichi si riconferma uno dei miei scrittori preferiti. Secondo me è ai livelli di L'uomo che voleva uccidermi. Bello bello bello

MI POSSO FIDARE DI TE?
Mi si stringe il cuore nel scrivere queste poche (?) parole dopo aver terminato #Rabbia di #YoshidaShuei perché l'ho iniziato a leggere aspettandomi un poliziesco e poi, man mano che leggevo, mi sono trovata tutt'altro.
È stata una piacevolissima sorpresa, però! Non si tratta di un classico poliziesco, ma parte da un fatto di cronaca ispirato a fatti veri per indagare nella vita di alcune persone "normali", semplici persone che hanno ascoltato gli appelli della polizia.
È così che si leggono quattro vicende ben distinte: Yohei, padre della problematica Akiko, il giovane Yuma, gay e con una madre malata, Izumi che sta iniziando una nuova vita dopo essere fuggita dalle situazioni problematiche causate dalla madre... tutti loro sono accomunati dall'incontro con un uomo misterioso che sembra essere un famigerato ricercato dalla polizia che ha compiuto un duplice delitto.
Il quarto protagonista è il detective assegnato al caso, che cerca di trovare il sospettato e nel frattempo bilanciare la vita privata.
La cura che Yoshida dedica a questo eterogeneo gruppo di protagonisti mi ha davvero colpita. È impossibile non essere trasportati nelle loro vite.
Il grande tema è la fiducia e come le persone reagiscono quando in un incontro casuale nasce qualcosa di speciale ma l'altro ha segreti che non vuole svelare.
Non è un thriller mozzafiato, ma cattura l'attenzione come pochi.

This is a story inspired from an actual event happened in Japan, - a wanted criminal on the run who had killed an English teacher and had plastic surgery to hide himself, and TV show chases him by collecting audiences' phone calls to the show who witness the man looks as after the surgery.
The people in the story, in 3 different places, each meet 'a man' who cannot explain where he came from. They are attracted to the man in different ways, as a lover, a friend, or as one of their family.
Suddenly the man disappears and they see a TV show that shows a face looks like the man as a criminal.
This is a very sensitive and emotional, making me think about which is easier, to believe or to doubt.

Sementara 3 bintang dulu karena sampai saat ini cuma baca part Naoto/Yuma (aka Go/Bukki kalo di film).
